A BIG NO to this agency! Do NOT CHOOSE LOVEHOLYDAYS
As we didn't have any option but to book the flights, hostel to at 8 PM to reach our destination, Costa Brava, Hostel Miranda, by 11 PM, once we arrived here, we were left outside with no one answering our calls! We had made a reservation and paid for it, with two young children, one aged 1 and another under 3, accompanying us. We called Love Holidays for two continuous hours, but no one answered. When someone finally picked up, a woman said she couldn't help us and that we should find a hotel on our own! Basically, we are stranded on the street with children!
It's 3:11 Am and still no one is answering!

We arrived at California Beach Hotel - Adults only, Laganas, Zante, Greek Islands, I was so excited after a stressful 6 months
On arrival we were told we had to pay £50 Euros for the air conditioning. It clearly stated on our itinerary that air conditioning was included.
We contacted Love Holiday with all our concerns and the did not call me back they literally kept cutting off the phone how disgusting to treat people like this
The drainage in the hotel has an problem it took 3 days for someone to come and look at and it still wasn't fixed.
NO ICE in the hotel
No coffee or tea in the rooms
The toilets are painted and old
The sink black stuff comes out the drainer
The pool dirty didn't see one guest use it
The pool area overgrown and unkept
I fell down the stairs I reported it no book was given to write my accident. No response back from love holiday
The breakfast all canned fruit
Very minimal
The amount that we paid was to much for this very budget holiday I was t a refund and will ensure that I put my reviews of Love Holiday until someone calls me back to discuss my terrible experience

I do not recommend anyone to deal with this company. I paid for everything in full, but an unexpected health situation occurred. I provided the relevant medical documents, but the staff deliberately delayed the process so as not to return the funds. They did not see the medical letter for a very long time and, of course, saw it only after the start date of the trip. That is, the loveholiday company is definitely not on the client's side.

Terrible company

Booked a holiday online with love holidays, was brought to a Web page saying holiday booking could not be finished online. THEIR own webpage. They said to ring a dedicated team to finish the booking, have screenshot of such.

Spoke to Polly, told her we had already tried to book online. Polly assured us we would not be double booked and could proceed with her.

Booked holiday and was charged two booking fees. Rang Polly back and she ASSURED me that it was OK, that the money would be back in my account within the hour.

Money never came, I have rang them over and over again telling them I hadn't got my refund. In essence they had booked 2 sets of people with the same names going to the same destination at the same time.

After many hours, many phone calls, where love holidays have been worse than useless, their only advice was to cancel the payment on my banks end, they went ahead a stole yet more money from my bank. The first payment was due and they again took 2 more payments for the same sets of people with the same name, going to same location at same time, despite the hours and multiple phone calls I already made telling them their was a mistake made.

Eventually love holidays have finally admitted to the mistake being their FAULT, yet they still refuse to offer a refund. They acknowledge THEY made the error, yet they tell me to ring the airline THEY used to book the holiday twice. This is UNACCEPTABLE.

I should not have to waste more hours ringing the airline I have not had any interaction with, which they used to book the holiday, this is their problem, yet Wendy from love holidays insisted they will not give a refund despite admitting it being their error and says it is up to me to call Ryanair to cancel the airline booking they made in error.

I have been trying to call Ryanair and they are looking for blood for me to simply talk to them. It is ridiculous.

I would not recommend love holidays to book me a doctors appointment. Will NEVER EVER use this company again. Terrible customer service, terrible experience...AVOID

Had booked my first holiday with love…
Had booked my first holiday with love holidays. Few days later i had a refund for my flights £75 i rang them.

I was told my holiday wasn't cancelled. However i was starting to think and lose trust with this company at this point.

Then on the phone had paid another £75 for the flights and was told my flights was be sorted and put in a asap queue.

Now today i have received another email saying my flights arent booked and no refund. I am losing faith in this company.

Yeh i really wouldn't bother the stress and now im being told to cancel my holiday its going to cost me. When none of this is my fault. Im not having this im taking this further.

Do not book

Please do not book a holiday with loveholidays. I made a booking for 2 rooms at the Ixian Grand, Rhodes. This trip was in excess of £4,000. The room description was 'deluxe double or twin room with balcony/terrace and garden view'. After booking, I contacted the hotel to ask for 1x double room and 1x twin room. The hotel informed me that no room at the hotel had the ability to be a twin and referred me back to loveholiday to make a complaint. I initially spoke to a representative on the chat tool who was incredibly dismissive and terminated the chat while I was still asking for support (along with multiple other issues I could complain about). I opened a chat with a new representative who ultimately explained that this is the fault of the hotels, and they were unable to provide any help to rectify this error. After a lot of back and forth, I asked how I should make a more formal complaint, to which I was told they do not have a complaints team. Go to the hotel directly to be sure of what you are paying for.

Awful, inept

Absolutely shocking. I added another passenger to my booking 2 weeks ago and they STILL haven't confirmed it. The chat feature isn't fit for purpose, they reply once a day with a copy and paste generic answer. I spoke to somebody on the phone who told me they are having issues with Ryanair's booking system and he has escalated my complaint. Still getting the same answers. I have threatened them with the press and still no further on.
Avoid this company like the plague, they are awful!
***Update***
FINALLY got this sorted, 3 weeks after my request to add a passenger. Constantly had to chase them. Ryanair confirmed the flight and check-in but Loveholidays couldn't find the details. For a week. I had to tell them how their business works between them and Ryanair.
Their amendment team is in India and they are woeful.
I have gone to the press about this shower of crap.
There are more reviews on Facebook sites and don't believe the Tripadvisor reviews that are obviously fake.
Be warned, do NOT book through them. I'm relatively lucky in that I haven't lost money but so many people have.

We booked a holiday for 5 old school friends it was our 60 th birthdays payed in full to be told 3 months later we owe the balance of £2500 alter ringing love holidays they saying they don't have any record of the money payed even though we have a bank statement to prove we have payed they don't want to know now they asking for a cancelation fee £260 pounds each avoid this company

Do not use this company at any cost.
I have had an absolute nightmare with them I booked a holiday to benidorm 23rd Feb 24 to fly 23rd March 24 till 27th March 24 as a solo passenger. I then requested 3 quotes to amend my booking 1) to possibly move the whole holiday to somewhere else with my daughter added. 2) add my daughter to my original booking and 3) add my friend to my original booking. I requested the quotes Monday 26th feb over the phone which customer service can't action they have to send an internal email to the amendment team to action. 34 emails back and forth later I have accepted the price and quote now 3 times. Once Sunday 3rd March Monday 4th March and today Tuesday 5th March. My friend still hasn't been added. Dob name etc has been provided still nothing. I then yesterday 4th March git an email saying sorry the flights were no longer available. An hour later I got another email for a quote to add my friend and my child to my original booking which I didn't request. Still no amendments made. I rang yesterday 3 times to get transferred to the amendments Team they don't have a phone line email only and I needed to keep waiting. I asked to make a complaint and speak to a manager. No manger will take the call or ring me back. The is no complaints procedure pre flight and holiday only a post complaint line. Which is probably back to customer service team who aren't a help line basically a call centre that sends emails onto others... I am now going to complain to ATOL as iv had enough 10 days later 34 emails later and a simple request hasn't been actioned its absolutely disgusting and shocking that they are still in business. I'm livid and honestly wish to cancel the whole thing but if I do I lose my 300 flights already paid... I would never use this company ever again. I now need to wait a further 24 hours for an email response. They need closing down permanently.

We arrived last night 1/3/24 at Marrakesh airport – the airport pick up I booked with LOV Holidays was not there, instead some random person holding a sign running around confused was waiting and was not in the location you had on your voucher.
The actual driver did not turn up for over an hour, we asked him to call the Riad representative who would meet them at the drop off point so we would not get lost down the alleyways of Marrakesh late at night., the driver refused to do this – he ended up dropping us off in completely the wrong place/area of town at 11pn at night –we had no clue where we were! We called the Riad who also said we were in the incorrect location far from the Riad.
I tried to call the company you booked the pickup with – no reply – I messaged twice – no reply!
We ended up having to pay a taxi driver 150 dirhams = £15 to get them to the right area of town. It would have been cheaper to have got a taxi from the actual airport
I have snap shots of messages from the Riad owner saying how bad this was of the driver – I have messages I wrote home last night saying we were LOST, I have snap shot the messages with a no answer call on WhatsApp which I made to the driving company you organised so I have proof of all this.
At the very least I would like a refund please for the airport shuttle service I booked with you.
This shuttle company you use is useless.
I have requested a refund from LOVEHOLIDAYS who told me via live chat this is not possible!"!

I am extremely disappointed with Loveholidays as a business. I used they 2 years ago and they were excellent but this company has changed drastically. They have an automated phone service which takes 30 minutes to get to a agent. I originally booked a 1 bed family room all inclusive. As there is 4 of us, I changed to 2 bedroom family room. They switched my board basis from All Inclusive to Bed and Breakfast. When I complained they told me it was me who changed it through an app. They are now looking for over €1000 to move back to All Inclusive. There customer service tell me it my problem and have to pay. Another customer service told me it was always booked Bed and breakfast. Please do not use this company as experience has been dreadful.

Disingenuous people who obviously don't care about people's welfare. Have been made to pay for another set of flights with no refund for the first due to a mistake made on their part. We were met with no sympathy and were essentially told to move on. 1k down the drain.

Booked a trip months ago flying from Dublin to Gatwick and onwards to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
After paying the first few payments £1400, I received an email telling me that Aer Lingus would no longer be flying Dublin to Gatwick and so the message asked me to look at alternative flights with them or " another airline". Aer Lingus did not suit, so sent a message with three options on it:
1- Flights on the same route, same dates with Ryanair
2- Flights from Belfast to Gatwick, same dates with Easyjet
3- Cancel my first part of the trip with a partial refund, and I would sort out the first part of my trip.
I should say that throughout this I had bought seats on the long haul part of my trip at a cost of £280.
Love Holidays just kept asking me if I wanted to cancel, an said that the flights had to be rebooked with Aer Lingus (even though these did not suit). They eventually wore me down and I reluctentley cancelled the trip, and in doing so losing my £280. They tell you to deal with the airline, but the whole package was booked through Love Holidays. Not good customer service in the slightest.

I booked my holiday over the phone on saturday 27th January. I was told to wait 72 hours for confirmation of booking I got an email for the flights on Monday and my flights had been changed to 2 planes instead of direct to destination and the price was changed by almost 400 pounds more.i called the customer services instantly and they hung up on me but I got a call back from the sales lady jiselie who I booked the holiday with over the phone. She said that there was an issue with the flights so instead of flying direct from Gatwick to larnaca it would be stopping at Athens and I will be going on 2 planes. I was not happy this was done with out notification no call no email nothing and told her to cancel my holiday as I'm still in the 14 day calling off period and not to charge cancellation fee as this it there fault. She agreed with me and apologised and said if I can sort your flight out and speak to a manager would that be ok. I said yes that's fine and she agreed to call me back. It's now Friday I've had no call back I have called them every day this week and get told the same information it has been escalated. I told them that I wanted to cancel my holiday before it was confirmed in email on Wednesday because at this time it was still showing as in pending status.They still put it through. I'm still waiting for a call back my guess was that they are trying to use up the 14 day calling of period at this point so they can lock me into contract. All I want is my money back or the matter to be fixed and fair.i was informed today that there is no 14 day calling off period and I have been told again this has been escalated.i had to call them again this even because no call back and the lady i spoke to told me I should of had a call back and I should of been notified before any changes to flights and price and it was wrong of them I was apologised to for what has happened. I am waiting for a response to see how they will deal with this it has been escalated again and will have to see what happens.i have been on citizen advice and it states that I'm entitled to cancel my holiday without any fee if the price goes up after I've booked and the seller Increases it more then 8% of the full amount which it has done and the company should pay any money I'm owed with in 14 days of cancellation. I have to wait to see how they respond. Attached are the original price I agreed and paid for and also the new confirmation of price increase after I asked to cancel.

Do not book with this company. My friend and I spent hours researching a holiday for half term, in two weeks time. We booked and paid with loveholidays, we then received an email saying it would take seven days to confirm our booking. This is no good as we need to know whether we are going or not. We phoned up and they said you have a place in the hotel, but your flights aren't confirmed, (what use is that?) the lady in the customer services department said it would be 10 days until they could confirm our flights! We then asked for our money back and we were refused. So basically loveholidays have stolen our money and we have no definite holiday booking confirmation for a holiday to depart in 10 days time. We cannot book another holiday because loveholidays have stolen our money. Customer services very unhelpful requested two callbacks from a manager, and none of these has materialised. This is a scam company. Please do not waste your time and money booking with them.
