I'm based in Canada and bought 500-level seats during the pre-sale for The Weeknd at Rogers Centre, Toronto. Later, better floor and lower bowl seats were released at much lower prices — while large sections of the venue remained unsold. When I contacted Ticketmaster, I was told the pricing was set by the promoter — Live Nation. I wasn't even asking for a refund, just a fair seat exchange — but got no help at all. It felt like my concerns were completely brushed aside. It's upsetting to see fans overcharged while better seats sit empty, and no one is held accountable. Sadly, my trust in this promoter is lost. Unless you're buying for a guaranteed sellout like Taylor Swift, it's better to wait than jump on inflated pre-sale prices.

So bummed Out
April 25, 2025

Me and my fiancee were coming from out of town to see Taylor Williamson at punchline SF, I went almost all the way through the purchasing process, and thought I'd upgrade my tickets. Went back and it set me for the later show time. I didn't realize until i checked out. I called to change it to the earlier showing. Mind you there was plenty of tickets for both and they didn't even try to accommodate, they just said sorry all ticket sales are final. As if I would've even going to come out on top of the deal, just wanted to get the earlier showing the money was the same amount and there was plenty of tickets. So frustrating now we're going to have to miss the whole thing. I get having tickets be final sale, but it's the same act performing at the same venue the same day, 2 hours later. There's plenty of inventory they could've easily switched it out and it would've cost them nothing. This was such a disappointing experience and it totally ruined our date night.

Welcome to NASCAR and their racetracks

Fees, fees and more fees and then add their processing fee. Previously before Ticketmaster, LiveNation the processing fee was $10.

So i bought some tickets to a show and need to sell them. The absolute most hellish of experiences. I have to go through some other site that really stinks to sell them or list them. Someone else buys them and all i have to do is transfer right? Wrong. Livenation somehow has every piece of personal information of mine and yet they have a phone number of mine from 5 years ago. In order for me to transfer the tickets i have to authenticate my account through that phone number. Instead of giving the option of putting in a new phone number or sending it via email i cant complete the process. Then the third party company is saying i agreed to these terms to sell when i wasnt made aware that i needed to jump through these hoops just to sell the tickets. Then i go from my phone to the computer to try and resolve it and the livenation website wont let me sign in. Says my network is weird and some sus activity is happening. No sorry i have a phone and a computer in my house and can switch whenever i want. How are you going to punish me for having multiple devices. This process should literally be a click of a button to transfer and its not. Theres no customer service. There is nothing easy about this process and i should be able to do this in my sleep. I will never ever use this site again. I will tell anyone and everyone to never use this site. They absolutely blow. Fix your stuff man its crazy.

LiveNation doesn't care about your health
October 1, 2024

After my recent experience with LiveNation, I have no desire to return or to support them. I became severely ill with COVID-19 this past Friday (9/27/24) and also experienced a dental emergency the same day, so I ended up being unable to attend the concert I had tickets for that evening due to obvious extenuating circumstances. I reached out to Ticketmaster to explain my situation, and they said LiveNation flat out refuses to issue a refund to me. Apparently, the only situation they will do this for is if an event is cancelled. So, buyer beware! They will NOT refund your money! LiveNation cares more about money than about people being responsible and caring to not knowingly expose others to COVID-19. Shame on you, LiveNation!

Class Action Lawsuit
September 6, 2024

Purchased 2 seats in section 300 for the Lynyrd Skynyrd Concert, forced to download the Live Nation App to retrieve tickets. They were switched to section 700. Two other people had tickets to these seats. Got stuck in the handicap section, so far over on the side of the stage my neck is still stiff from trying to see the concert. No refund, no partial refund, no NOTHING. It's not bad enough they kill us with the prices, they also have zero accountability for their wrong doings. Time to stand together.

Terrible refund policy
August 24, 2024

I get not refunding tickets unless a medical emergency, but not refunding fast lane pass when accidentally selected instead of chair rental is ridiculous. I meant to choose lawn chair rental and hit the wrong button. I immediately contacted customer service about the mistake and was denied. Now I am out $80. Never again, Live Nation!

What a joke
August 4, 2024

Had ticket to see Steve Winwood and the Doobie Brothers on 8.3.24. Granted it was raining, but it didn't appear anyone knew how to direct parking. It took more than an hour trying to find parking - half of which was finding how to get to the right place to sit in line for another 30+ minutes for general parking. The cops were useless - they just sat in their cars blocking roads, and not directing traffic. When I finally got to the parking attendant, I asked if Steve Winwood was playing yet because I really only went to see him, and she used her radio to ask but no one bothered to answer. Then she tells me the price is $53.50! Nowhere did the parking signs indicate how much it was going to cost. She then directs me to the right where "there's plenty of parking" and there was none. I finally found one at the other end of the lot. All that time wasted. I paid for a fast lane ticket - except it wasn't fast - I got in faster in the regular line. And by the time I found my seat, I had already missed 3 songs. I don't know who made the decision but Steve only played 7 songs, and no encore - he said he had to cut it short because the Doobie Brothers had to get on. When weather causes a delay, the venue should permit the concert be extended the amount of the time the show was delayed so each band gets to play their allotted time. I will never go back to the Freedom Pavilion for a concert again. Management of logistics needs to be replaced with people that know what they're doing. Total waste of time and money.

Horrible comapny
February 22, 2024

The absolute worse

Every part of their web design and app is uneccessary frustration

I had to click through I don't know how many portals and page loads just to see the option to click again to see a qr code

And that's not even talking about the constant emails "How was the show? Hey you didn't reply last time we'd love to hear from you. Still wondering if you liked the show?"

"Hey here is a concert you might like it's tomorrow on a different contienent"

And the fees and charges and constant texts and emails

I hope this company literally goes to hell

Filo Carats Deserve Better!
January 14, 2024

Live nation ph is the worst organizer! How ugly their system is! How pity to all the people who attend the concert, give us justice is live nation ph! Shame on you! This organization is so slow to give an updates! Bokya live nation ph! Before you can even finish the strapping, it will took us 6hrs, imagine it`s very hot, then you make the people line up, then the queue is so $#*!ing slow, it looks like it doesn't move, and what's worse is that Carats themselves organized the queue because the staff didn't take care of it. And if you are disabled, do you still need to criticize someone? Just because he/she doesn't using a wheelchair Like hello? LNPH not all people that are disabled need a wheelchair, it's like you didn't do grade 2! Many more people passed out because of the heat, then when people asked for water refills, the staff doesn't want to gave them! They only gave when they see Sebongs gave water for all because someone just passed out! Then it looks like they are not even prepared they are lacked of everything jusko! You can't even find where is the lost and found section, theyre also lacked of enough staff to accommodate people inside the stadium. Are you ready like that Live Nation PH? You are not like that in other fandoms but in carats you are terrible!Live Nation is really terrible jusko! Philconcerts is way better than you LNPH! Magsara na lang kayo!

I bought tickets to see Kim Petras for $341 through the Live Nation Website. Ticket Master charged my credit card. The concert was canceled or rescheduled. Ticket Master refused to refund me citing Live Nation's refusal.

Fees have gotten out of control.
September 29, 2023

Ticketmaster sure seems to be utilizing bait and switch tactics and unethical business practices by charging such high fees that they dont reveal until the end of the transaction and only if you expand the cost breakdown. Costs aren't made clear up front and are extremely high sometimes nearly doubling ticket costs. Rediculous. Very disappointing.

Worst congestion and experience ever
September 11, 2023

Booked tickets for Eric Church and waited in traffic on Friday night for over 6 hours! Just four miles from the campground. Your fake security did nothing but block traffic. We spoke to people at the campground who carry and brought their personal gun to leave in their car. Dogs did not detect this. Since they can't keep anything organized, safe or enjoyable we didn't even stay for the concert. So bummed! And out over $400! I'll never book with Live Nation again.

Shady Practices
September 9, 2023

I filtered my tickets to ONLY show Meet & Greet tickets. I chose my seats based on this filter. The tickets stated they were "VIP" and I believed this meant they were what I chose in the filter which was the Meet & Greet. I made my purchase months before the concert. I started receiving emails for "Your VIP Tickets", and instructions to download them, show them upon arrival, which gate to go in, and so on. I assumed all was as it should be, and the only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because I should have thought something was up when I didn't get instructions for the Meet & Greet. But how shady is that to give the option to specifically filter out all tickets except the Meet & Greet package, then show that this package includes seats within the first 10 rows, the M&G, etc. I add them to my cart, but didn't realize the name of the package went from "VIP Meet & Greet Package" to "VIP Merchandise Package", and they both were the SAME price. WHY WOULD I PAY $730 FOR MERCH? I paid $730 for the experience of meeting one of my favorite entertainers. Live Nation/Ticketmaster won't do anything about it. Beware of their shady practices. You think you are purchasing exactly what they show you, but by the time your card is run, you didn't purchase what you thought. They have a monopoly on the industry, so WTF are we supposed to do about it? Shady practices.

Lumineers at the Gorge Amphitheater
September 9, 2023

We bought box seat tickets along with VIP parking and entrance to the Gorge.because the venue was so mismanaged we didn't get to use the VIP anything because we, along with many other people, were stuck for hours in traffic.we were stuck in traffiic so long I saw people urinating on the side of the road. After over 3 hours of waiting we finally got the the venue after 10 pm. The employees at the Gorge were a bunch of untrained and idiotic high schoolers with no clue what they were doing. They didn't give a $#*! about what was happening around them. When I spoke with Live Nation employees they said "deal with it." Live Nation and the Gorge you have pissed a lot of people off so you better make this right.

SCAM ARTISTS
September 6, 2023

BUYERS BEWARE! I had 3 tickets to see Foreigner at the PNC Bank Arts Center in New Jersey on Sept. 3,2023. Unfortunately, I could not attend so I had to resell my tickets. Since they were phone tickets I was forced to resell them on the Live Nation site; instead of on my own. I was not allowed to go below $322 a ticket for Row G seats in the front. Live Nation locked me in at that rate, I could no longer reduce the price to at least get half of what I paid. If I was able to do that I would have sold them. I checked their site for comparable tickets and a few hours before the show, they dropped the price on their tickets that weren't sold to $150 a ticket for a row right behind me. Why were they allowed to go below the $322 price, but I could not. Of course their tickets got sold and mine did not. I was out $1,068 in concert tickets. I tried the CHAT because you cannot get a live person to talk to. No one helped me and just kept giving me instructions on how to resell the tickets, that wasn't my question to them. If you are fortunate enough to resell your tickets with them be prepared for even more fees; like you didn't pay enough fees when you originally purchased them. I will never buy tickets through them again. This site is a total SCAM designed to bilk money out of customers. Beware! Once you purchase tickets with them you are held hostage to their shady rules.
