Just had to replace after what seemed to be just 3 or 4 years since the first strongarm hood supports I purchased. I think they should have lasted longer than that given OEM lasted almost 25 years.
The lift support I received is for this Rubbermade changing station but when it closes the table, it does so with some force and I worry about potential injury. How do I make sure it's not too powerful?

I ordered StrongArm hood and trunk struts from Lift Supports Depot. The price was very good and I received them very quickly.
Perfect replacement part, just wish installation instructions would have came with the product and the product should have been in a box for protection during shipping.
These struts were well made and seem like they're OEM. They were also easy to install. BUT... they aren't strong enough to hold up the hood on my 2000 Plymouth Prowler. I suspect that they are too old and lost pneumatic pressure.

This worked perfectly for my wife's car, even replacing just the one Lift support made a huge difference. I just wish this website had the disclaimer about the product being a single piece and not a pair was more prominent.

Bought these as direct replacements for my 2016 ScatPac. They arrived with constant tracking info quickly. Took all of about 5 mins to install. The old ones came right off with a little flat tip screwdriver to pry off the old clips and the new ones just snapped into place. Too easy! I would recommend these and this company all day!

Be careful when you are buying, without a diagram you won't know if you have the right part! I did have the right part number from my car. But didn't match what I received!

It works but it will not fit if the tailgate cable still on. In my case i have to remove OEM tailgate cable & figure itnout the replacement. Will be nice if the seller kit tailgate cable replacement as a kit

I did a conversion product to my vehicle using the recommended parts and all of it worked perfectly. The Hydraulic shock and a ball studs are really nice quality and fit like a glove.
