I replaced the OEM struts with these from Lift Supports. The OEM ones were failing and causing the trunk to fall and hit me on the head. These struts are strong and easy to install. My car is a 2022 Challenger with the performance spoiler.
Everything was quick and easy to understand.
My 2024 Forest River Geo murphy bed was heavier than I liked to lift it into close position. I measured the initial lift weight to be at 54 pounds. The lifts were identified as 20 pounds each. I decided to upgrade to 30 pounds each. This improved the lift weight.
I may upgrade to 40 or 50 pounds each in future. I was trying to be careful not to damage the mounting for the lifts as has been described on Forest River Forum.
It was easy to find 30 pound lifts and place order.
I order from this company because I want to avoid any defective parts. Unfortunately there was no final inspection prior to packing my item, and a retainer clip was missing. I'm curious to see if anyone from the company actually reads this and sends be a new retainer clip. The lifts are excellent. But they dropped the ball on quality assurance this time.

The lift supports arrived and were very easy to install, the fit was perfect, and the supports are well constructed and far stronger than even the OEM. Took less than a minute to do each strut.
