My first order with Lensabl was poor. Sent in a expensive pair of glasses to have new lenses installed. Communication about the progress of the work was very poor. After some period of time, I followed up, received (what seemed to be a pre-made response) that I would be getting another message. After a few days, message received that there was a quality control problem and lenses had to be redone. After a number of weeks finally received my glasses.
I would have to think twice if I wanted to use Lensabl again. For completely new glasses, I am very satisfied with Zenni Optical.

Received glasses with one arm not attached. I finally figured out how to put back on myself. Customer service is rude and does not return emails. Sent expense case not seeing that you were not to do so. When I contacted them they were rude and basically said sorry should have not sent them and did not even try to locate them.
Had lenses replaced in a an older vintage eyeglass. It was a bi-focal prescription and work was done precisely, the bi-focal line was right where it should be and my frames were treated with care. This is my fourth order with Lensbl. Highly recommend Lensabl!

Sent new frames for prescription lenses.
They seemed fine, but after some weeks a lense fell out of frame.
I returned them and when I got them back the right lense was not secure in frame; it rocked a bit. (They had not rocked when I first got them back.)
So i sent them back at my expense... But this time THEY DID NOT DO ANYTHING and glasses were in same condition as i had sent them, lense rocking in frame. NO OLD LENSES WERE INCLUDED in this return shipment, meaning they had not replaced it AT ALL.
They could not have inspected these glasses before shipping, or they would have easily detected the same problem had not been addresed.
I want my money back at this point but was told no. So goodbye Lensabl.
Purchased lenses that would be considered top-spec. Upon checkout, I opted to provide the frame for the lenses purchased. After waiting 3 days with no communication, I reached out to customer service to ask if I would be getting an email with the shipping label OR receiving packaging to send away my frames. Once I made contact with a customer service rep, I felt my order was progressing again. Packaging was received one week later. Turnaround from Lensabl receiving my frames to receiving the finished product was around 5 business days (shorter than expected)... Upon receipt, I noticed the frames provided were bent at both arms and hinges. The frames provided were new. Overall product is usable BUT frames slip off my head. Like, I can't look down or else my glasses fall off. The problem cannot be fixed due to bending from the hinges. I feel like experienced opticians do not hold frame arms to fit lenses into frames... TLDR - Lenses good BUT bringing your own frames is too problematic.

Easy process to get my favorite frame updated with new lenses. I added transition to help with living in SWFL. Love that I can wear them all the time. No need to swap for sunglasses

I didn't read reviews before I sent my glasses out. If I did, I would've probably went elsewhere. While my experience wasn't as bad as others, it was still frustrating. The my account page for order status doesn't update very well and kept my wondering what is going on. Before I sent my glasses out, I uploaded everything that was needed but was still asked to upload more information even though there wasn't a spot to upload what was needed. I ended up uploaded my PD image elsewhere and contacted customer service to let them know where I uploaded it. When I asked customer service if my glasses would ship by the date I was previously given, I ended up getting an email that it was shipped days ago but my account page didn't show that it shipped. Overall, I am happy with the lenses.
Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
