Lensabl has garnered a reputation for providing high-quality lenses and a convenient service for replacing lenses in existing frames, with many customers expressing satisfaction with the product quality and the speed of delivery. However, concerns have been raised regarding customer service responsiveness, particularly during issue resolution, as well as occasional discrepancies in prescription accuracy. While many customers appreciate the transparency and communication throughout the process, there are notable frustrations related to the handling of returns and remakes. Overall, Lensabl is viewed positively, though improvements in customer support could enhance the overall experience.

I saw what the expected time frame was to process an order for ne lens. Based on that time frame I placed my order. It took much longer than stated to get this transaction completed. It is misleading to post information that is not true. When I questioned why my order was taking so long I never received an acceptable response. I will not be using this company again.
Sent in my old glasses. Took a couple of photos, did it all online. And NOW I have a cool pair of reading glasses in the frame that I LOVE
I sent in an e-mail that I received them however they are not usable right now.
Order process was easy. I didn't receive what I wanted and the process of getting it resolved is slow. Hoping I haven't wasted my hard earned money. Waiting for a resolution.
It takes too long to get a hold or hear back from someone
Timeline on the website is never accurate
Production timeline is excessive for online based company
When in the business of a specific service you should not be failing inspections that many times
Price point is not that much different from local companies
First lensabl staff did the wrong prescription that made my order time sensitive. Their customer service said my timetable for delivery would not be a problem while they corrected the prescription. Then it did not arrive when I needed it. Too many mistakes.
I made the order and sent my prescription and either my optometrist made a mistake in writing the prescription or the lab did not read the numbers correctly. However, the customer service did not dispute who was at fault. They sent me a box and I returned the incorrect lenses back and they sent me a new pair with the revised prescription. They did not add any charge to me and only gave positive customer service. I will recommend Lensabl to any potential customers and to my friends. A job well done. Mahalo.
The lenses took 6 weeks to be delivered which included remaking them due to a quality issue they found. There were no updates until I sent email asking status ~3 weeks after Lensabl received my frames. The status updates underestimated how long it takes to complete my lenses. When delivered, the lenses met my expectations.
Had my prescriptions from earlier… filled out the website quickly and ordered a box to be sent to me that I could put my glasses in. The whole process took a fair number of days from order to arrival of the finish glasses… but few minutes of my time which is what I wanted
Lens quality is fantastic, but process took over a month which is just too long these days.
It's kinda dumb that they request you ship the glasses without a case…. And if you do, they just keep the case. Bad.
This was the first time I ordered with Lensabi. I received a clear message about my PD (pupil distance) once I had made my order, basically to clarify things on the prescription I submitted. We got that figured out, and the lens are perfect. Plus the frames are pretty cool!
I am always very pleased with my orders - 3 pairs this time and sending another soon. Good service, high quality. Communication is EXCELLENT. My only "complaint", wish they would tune up frames sent, making the investment for new lenses would be so much more appealing if frames were inspected and tuned up.
Needed lenses for Bose Tenor audio glasses. Simple process uploading rx and glasses were delivered quickly.
Had a great experience with warranty and Mark and Megan are the best at customer service. Thanks Lensabl.
They lost a pair of glasses I sent in, and made all efforts to locate it. When they could not, they let me choose a replacement pair of glasses at their cost, from eBay or anywhere else, and took care of it from there.
I had some nomad frames from an earlier prescription and now they are my new favorite sunglasses!
I sent my Ray Ban sunglasses in to have progressive lenses installed. I received an email stating they received them. Then I got a phone from Lensable saying they lost them? Needed two weeks to replace them AND my model of sunglasses were not available anymore! Took Lensable 2 months to ship me my glasses. No apology however they took the $380 from me
I promptly received my new lenses, however they don't seem to match my new prescription that my regular glasses match. The distance vision portion is off. Additionally, the glasses showed up with permanent marker dots on the lenses.
Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.
Answer: They falsely boosted about putting new lenses in existing frames (in a very short turn around like a week) not the 8 months it's been
Answer: Once your frames arrive at our lab, assuming you've provided all required Rx information, lens production is 4-7 business days on average before shipping
Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
Answer: I am having the same experience. Took my money, lost my frames and have done nothing on refund nor damages. I filed with BBB as well. Why are they still in business is a surprise to me?How many more consumers do they need to harm before they are fined and/or shut down?
Answer: All prices are in USD ($) but we do ship to Canada as well :)
Answer: Yes all of our lenses are guaranteed or we will re-make them if any issues once you receive them back. Thanks!

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by our policy regarding the shipment of cases and accessories. We kindly ask our customers not to ship their cases or accessories along with the glasses frames, as the case may become separated from the frames during the lens production process.
To ensure the safe arrival of your frames, we do offer free packing materials to customers who may not have the proper materials to ship their frames safely. We want to ensure that your frames arrive to us in the same condition that they were sent out in, and we take the necessary steps to ensure this happens.
