I used Lensable to replace lenses in my existing frame with new ones from a newer prescription. Great experience overall. Information is clearly laid out on the website, shipping (both ways) was easy, my glasses arrived in a reasonable amount of time, quality seems to be good so far. Will know for sure in a few months. I will definitely recommend Lensabl.
Sunglasses took about 6 weeks from order to delivery, I was only communicated to once that there was a delay due to a quality issue with the lenses but very little detail after that until it just shipped out one day.
Lenses themselves are great and matched by prescription. Other than the delay, it woulda been 5 stars.
Sent in a pair of sunglasses that they could not replace the lenses on. They then held them hostage that I would have to pay a ridiculous shipping fee to return them or I can purchase another pair of glasses. I ended up purchasing a pair of sunglasses which were terrible quality and not worth the amount I paid. It then took multiple emails to even get my original sunglasses back as well. Will never use your service again.

Used Lensable to replace the lenses of my existing frames. I went to a different optical shop to get my exam done, and was quoted a certain price for polycarbonate lenses with the basic Transitions option. Was referred to Lensable and was able to choose the next level Transitions option — which is key for anyone wanting their lenses to tint in the car! — for an even cheaper price. The turnaround time was super quick. Love my glasses. I highly recommend!
This is the third time I used Lensabl to upgrade the prescription in frames that I own. The previous two times there has never been an issue. Unfortunately, this time I tried to update the lenses on prescription sunglasses, and that posed a challenging situation that took longer, and also involved reversing charges because the options provided by the website were done due to system error!
Ordered my lenses and had an initial delay due to quality check. Appreciate them taking the time to get it right. It took several weeks for them to straighten out. Tracking showed shipping in 3-5 business days for 2-3 weeks.
My favorite KD's frame for many yrs I wear no problem with until Visionworks wont make anymore.I piss off them (Visionworks) so I found your name company on internet thank you...hope still run when I need repairs again
Overall, the experience was great. I did have a problem getting the proper measurements on sunglasses where you couldn't see your eyes, but I was able to work through that. You did what you said you do when you said you would do it and that's a good thing.

My Lensabl Lenses did not fit into my Bose Tempo Frames. They were causing the frames to bend in the middle making them impossible to wear and almost caused damage to the frames. They had to be taken out immediately and need to be returned for either a refund or replacement. Since these did not fit properly into my frames I'm leaning towards a refund. Luckily my regular sunglass lenses that came from Bose with my sunglases still fit just fine in my frames. Also the 1.75 don't seem the same as the ones I have at home. They seemed extra strong more like a 2.00 or stronger. A 1.50 would probably be better for how Lensabl makes them.
Overall I would rate this very high. The only negative if anything is they promised 7-10 business days and it ended up more like 20 plus business days. If that is the only issue this would a 5 star company in quality which is most important to me.

I have used lensabl for years now, and I've always had a tremendous, speedy, and on-point with my lens replacement. This is the first time I have had to deal with delays, no update on the status bar, and not the best assistance from the supervisor Rudy I believe. My order was sent the glasses I've purchased elsewhere and ship them to lensabl to update the lens with my usual order, RX, transition, and think the lens down. I got back a thick lens, a chipped lens, delivered around 2 months late from the date I sent my frames to lensabl not including from the actual purchase date.
I had smudges on both of my lenses. I contacted the company. They were very helpful with the return of my lenses to replace them with new lenses.
The estimated time for my single vision glasses was 6 business days, but 3 weeks after they received my frame and prescription there was no progress or update... When I contacted them it felt like they didn't even know what had happened to my order, they gave me a funny excuse and told me i had to wait 6 extra business days... Which turned into 2 weeks maybe more...
Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
