This is the second pair of lenses I've purchased from Lensable. I have strabismus and need special lenses: both pairs have corrected my vision. I also like the fact that I can get Shamir lenses which are not available everywhere.
A little worried going into it, but everything happened just as promised. Two frames sent, same returned with lenses. Quite satisfied.
I mailed my glasses and prescription and received them back with a random unusable prescription in them. I asked what happened and they had me resubmit them. There was no communication that they received them, fixed them, or were getting them back to me. Then they showed up.
After a small problem which Lensable solved immediately I have my glasses back on to my nose. Both my nose and my eyes are happy with the result.

Horrible experience, ordered my glasses early December was told it would take 5-7 days. A few days later they stated they had broken my frames. I could either send them link of where I got my frames or order frames from their site. I ordered frames from their site since rep made it seam they had it in stock. 2 weeks had passed and I contacted Lensabl, rep advised me frames were out of stock and they would have to order more yet not sure why they didn't order more when I asked for those frames. Weeks passed and I reached out to them again, advised frames were ordered will take at least a week. A few weeks later contacted them again and informed frames will be ordered will take a week. Took them 2 months to finish my glasses, I ordered smart glasses from them and they sent me my glasses without a charger making those frames useless. Beware this place is a scam
Unclear directions resulted in glasses I can't use. It would take too much time to explain what happened. What I will say is the suggested resolution was not adequate.

Oy! I had what has to be the worst experience possible with Lensabl. I reached out to friends on Facebook to get suggestions for online places to fill my new eyeglass prescription. Several people recommended Lensable so I went with them. It took a month to finally get my glasses -- which had a very simple, single-vision prescription -- back from Lensable. When they arrived, they were bent out of shape as though they'd been on the head of the Statue of Liberty, lol. I had to take them to Warby Parker to have them re-adjusted for my small face. But worst of all, after cleaning my new lenses ONE TIME, using high-end Zeiss Lens Wipes, my glasses were completely scratched! I need them for night driving and when I put them on at night, the scratches made all lights (and especially headlights) look like something out of a psychedelic nightmare. I now have to spend another $120 to have the lenses redone from a local optician. Worse, the Customer Care I received during the month I waited and waited for my glasses, while relatively responsive, basically told me nothing except "We don't know what's happening, we contacted the lab and we'll let you know when we do." In desperation -- I had a trip coming up and needed to take my glasses with me for driving -- I sent a strongly worded letter saying I wanted to cancel my order and just please send my beloved frames back to me so I can get them filled before I leave. The next day I received a letter saying they had to be redone and were on the way. The whole experience was a total fiasco. Sadly, Lensabl is the LAST company I would now recommend to anybody I liked to fill their eyeglass prescription.
Great glasses. I would order again. But, big lags in customer service and lots of repeat contacts. They need to work on this.
Everything was great from ordering to receiving, but the frames were bent when they were first returned to me. Inexplicable since they weren't like that when I sent them. But was able to send them back, the frames are realigned, and now I have them and they are great.
The website says it should take 4-5 days after the frames arrive at your lab. It took a month. It's really unacceptable and frustrating
Lensabl made the conversion of my new Slyk shades sunglasses to prescription so easy and the quality of the work done was impeccable. The color of the lenses is exactly like the originals and I couldn't be happier.
The lenses I received are nice and of good quality but it is unfortunately not what I ordered. I also had noted that I wanted to keep the original pair of lenses and they were not sent back to me.
Lens ultimately arrived, and were functional. Initial email question from them suggested they misplaced our conflated my lenses with another order, and it felt like a disguised upsell attempt which wasn't cool.
My lens also went through a "QA failure", so they definitely took longer than advertised, despite no change in price.
It was an easy and fast and very friendly experience.
Everything went as expected. Will definitely be back.

I used Lensable to replace lenses in my existing frame with new ones from a newer prescription. Great experience overall. Information is clearly laid out on the website, shipping (both ways) was easy, my glasses arrived in a reasonable amount of time, quality seems to be good so far. Will know for sure in a few months. I will definitely recommend Lensabl.
Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
