Problems with double orders, lost frames, timely shipment.
I had two rimless frames and two thin-metal frames with lenses that needed to be replaced. I went to a local optician an he said that a 1.70 index lens would cost $450 per frame and a 1.67 lens would cost $350. I went to another optician and she said new 1.67 glasses would cost $492 and new 1.74 glasses would cost $573. I had all four of my glasses replaced with Trivex lenses, which has superior optics, at Lensabl for a grand total of $455. I highly recommend the services of Lensabl.
Received my glasses however prescription does not feel the same as my current ones

I wish I had done my homework before ordering prescription lenses with Lensabl. The name of the business is a telling. I placed the order, paid upfront, mailed my own frames. Multiple mistakes including shipping to wrong address, incorrect prescription on lenses, losing the frames to sending out canned responses and admitting to it... 6 months in and still no refund nor damages on the lost frames.
Wasn't sure about using a site like this to send in old frames but it was seamless! Easy to order, quick and fantastic results. Will certainly use again!

The whole experience was way too effortless, I'm almost annoyed, however I'm not. I'm so incredibly happy with the process and the results are fantastic, if there is anything out there like this, I don't care, I'm choosing Lensabl everytime.
Ordered the glasses one week ago today (that's when they first received them) and am still waiting for an email saying they're ready for shipping. How long does it take? I can get new lenses at a store in two days. These guys take 2-3 WEEKS!
I've had expensive frames with prescription lenses for a few years now that became useless after Lasik surgery. I came across the Lensabl website and it was so easy to order replacement lenses. All I did was complete what type of lenses I wanted, print the label and send off the glasses. I was able to track the progress through the website and when they were returned, they were cleaned and tightened with beautiful new lenses. I highly recommend

This company claims they can put prescription sun tinted lenses into your existing frames. They can not. I've been dealing with them for 4 months and they are a train wreck.The process they use to take the existing lenses out and put in the new ones ruins the frames by bending them in a way that causes the lenses to function incorrectly. I sent them back in and just as I suspected they broke my original frames that belonged to me. They refuse to refund your money and instead ask to replace the broken frames. 4 months later I get the replacement frames and they have untinted lenses in them and the prescription is wrong and they're bent again. This company shouldn't be allowed to continue to operate. They are the epitome of bait and switch. Do not give them your money or your frames.

The ordering process online is phenomenal and easy The price is great as well however the measurements required to make sure the lenses are cut properly for your eyes May need some improvement. The lenses I received in the frames I provided have something wrong with them that causes a lot of stress and pain in my eyes when I put them on. Either the focal point is too high or too low or too far to the left or right. I recommend getting your pupil distance above the bottom of the frame and from the left to right distance from your optometrist not using the online process

Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
