The lenses are perfect and affordable... but that's not the capper. It's CUSTOMER SERVICE. The first set of lenses they sent me didn't work right... so I gathered up all my arguments for a replacement and emailed them. I dind't need to worry... they offered to replace the lenses free and for no charge. The second set... right on the money. In short, these guys know customer service. I am a client forever.
I ordered them when they were having a 20% off coupon and sent my glasses in. The estimates for turnaround are pretty optimistic. I got mine back 4 weeks after sending them in. I think they specify 7-10 business days for processing. Keep in mind 10 business days is two weeks.
When I received my glasses the frame looked warped and one of the lenses stuck out in a funny way. Also, the ear piece on one side was obviously bent. After I looked at it for a bit, I realized that the lens was not seated in the frame correctly, pushing out the top of the frame (warping it), and pointing the earpiece in a different direction as a result. I used a small screwdriver to loosen the frame and pop the lens back in the frame. The glasses returned to normal with no residual damage.
I also noticed a very faint, small scratch at the bottom of the brand new lens. My conclusion is that some one professional does the lens, and then some one with little to no training has some tools and a short amount of time to insert the lens into the frames before they're shipped out. I don't know how else to explain the half-seated lens and twisted frame I received in the mail.
The lenses themselves are fine. The anti-reflective coating is not as good as coating I've had on glasses from optical shops including Walmart, for what it's worth. But it was also cheaper to send in to Lensabl.
I tried Lensabl's service if for no other reason than to break away from the insulting pricing and service provided by the Luxottica conglomerate. I thought I was experiencing the first catch when Lensabl warned me that my frames might be damaged by the process and asked for permission to continue. Although I was surprised there might be a problem, it was gratifying to know they cared enough about customer satisfaction to reach out to give me a choice. My glasses arrived in a little over a week with the frames intact and replacement lenses more accurately executed than the originals. Extremely satisfied!

If they deem the frame to be at risk for damage during the lens production process, we make sure to let you know of this risk so you have a chance to cancel the order if you wish, as we never want to do anything without the customer's approval. Such great service! Honestly I'm one really happy customer and I want to share my experience with everyone. I didn't even know it was possible to get prescription sunglasses but they did it! And the whole experience was effortless and at the end of the day I also saved almost $150 off of the price that my local store quoted me and the quality is exceptional! After my first pair is done I'm determined to send it all my glasses! Highly recommended!

Trash product. You'll be sorry you "saved money" with these guys. The coating on my lenses has failed twice and the customer service is useless. GARBAGE. I want my money back.
At first, I had some challenges; they got the original prescription I sent in wrong, and had to go to my optometrist to have them check it and document the errors. I sent back and they fixed but there was still an issue, this time, in the second measurements my optometrist provided. But Lensabl asked a lot of questions because they wanted to get it right. I sent back a third time and they got it perfect! Even made corrections my optometrist got wrong in the second go around. So I gave them 5 stars because they stuck it out until it was right, even correct despite the original prescription being wrong also. So thank you!
The lenses I got back from Lensabl are as good if not better than the original manufacturer lenses! Plus, each pair came with a hard case and cleaning kit.

It was so easy to order just what I wanted for night driving. CR39 lenses for clarity and Crizal coating for glare in a single vision lens. Will definitely use Lensabl again.
I found Lensabl outstanding in two ways. First, I have a complicated prescripton and my Lensabl progressive, prism lenses are perfect with exactly the tint I was hoping for. Second, if it hadn't been for Clarke from customer support I wouldn't have them. My glasses were missing in the mail for 19 days. (I'm 1 mile from Lensabl.) Clarke constantly stayed on the case and emailed me throughout. (I think we became friends during those weeks. Many emails.) After almost 3 weeks, he found them! I wouldn't have my great Lensabl glasses if I didn't have Clarke.
I had a pair of Silhouette rimless frames that I wanted to have aviator shaped lenses replace the rectangular lenses that were on the frame with my old prescription. I contacted customer service to ask if that was possible and was told that it was, and that he, Jason, would make a note on my order when received, and he did. It took longer than expected to have my new glasses shipped back to me since the odd shaped lenses did not pass final inspection by their lab, but when I emailed him about the delay, he was always quick to respond and apologetic for the delay. When I received the glasses they were perfect and worth the wait.

I ordered replacement lenses per the website directions. My PD was off enough to cause strain. (I used their selfie feature to measure PD. Suggest having a doc do it, or at least use a measuring device of your own.) They remade them with the correct PD and voila! They're spot on, high quality lenses well made, and I'm very happy. Service is first-rate. Highly recommended.

I Sent a pair of coach glasses and coach sunglasses to lensable for lens replacement. They exceeded my expectations. Shipping was fast, the sunglass lenses matched the original gradient and my prescription was spot on on both pair. The lab did forget to send my case back but when I emailed customer service they replied back almost immediately and they found my case the next day. Although it was my fault for sending my case, the fact that they took time to find it was exceptional! Most companies nowadays would not have done this. Their prices are also more than reasonable. I got a pair of lenses with everything I needed on them for $97 dollars; my optometrist was going to charge me over $300. I will be using lensable for my and families eyeglass names from now on. Let me begin by saying I do a ton of online buying. I was a little unsure about Lensabl but I said "what the heck" give it a try and I can't tell you how elated I am! I sent my favorite Maui Jim curve lens frames to lens a bell and they put in perfect clear lenses. Optically they are impeccable, visually they're also impeccable and those are tough frames to fit! Hi Vincent my Steve McQueen purse all glasses to have prescription sun lenses put in them again a homerun love them and have a been able to wear them for years but now I wear them daily! Finally I sent a pair of Persol sunglasses out to have their sunglass lenses replaced with clear prescription lenses. Another homerun! I must say their customer service, attention to detail, ordering, and delivery process as well as a genuine quality product exceeded my expectations. If you have any questions please let me know. I received my order back, bifocals, and the distance vision was perfect; however, I couldn't read with them. Contacted customer service and they promptly sent me a return authorization label. Just got the order back and they are perfect.

After receiving the first order which weren't right, I contacted Rudy at Lensabl and they were quickly corrected with free 1 day shipping provided each way. My suggestion is to always provide the measurements that your optician will provide for distance between your eyes. I don't think the option to use a photo you provide is very accurate. Very happy with their service and my new lenses work great.

I spent over 2 months with Lensabl trying to get set of prescription lenses made for a pair of sunglass frames I provided. After 2 attempts, they still could not get it right. I then contacted the local eyeglass shop that had previously made a set of prescription sunglass lenses for me in order to obtain all of the specs, and provided these to Lensabl to duplicate. Lensabl said they would need to remake the lenses again - a third time - at an additional cost of over $300, putting my total expenditure with them at almost $650. For this cost I could have had my local eyeglass shop make the lenses correctly the first time, saved money and it would not have taken 2 months of hassle. I contacted the owner of Lensabl directly and suggested they refund half of the $300 I had already paid, and I would eat the rest and chalk it up to a bad decision on my part. NO GO, he says. And offers to refund me $100 of the $317 I paid for a set of unusable glasses. So, I'm out $217 and no sunglasses.
Avoid these guys at all cost. A local eyeglass shop will give you personal attention and make sure your glasses work the first time, and for less money. Lensabl is a rip-off company.
We're sorry you didn't have a good experience using our service. We will always remake lenses at our expense if the error is on our part. We are unfortunately unable to offer a refund in situations where the order is made correctly, but the information provided was wrong.
I read the reviews and despite some trepidation, I decided to go with Lensabl for my progressive lenses. A few things went wrong- First, I couldn't load my prescription on the website. Second, I called support and emailed my prescription after some questions. Third, the glasses came back after 3 weeks and they were wrong as they flipped the signs on one of the lenses despite having the correct prescription directly. Fourth, I then sent the glasses and the time looks to be another 3 weeks. All in all, what could have been a good experience has been a poor one. I would have given this one star, but I did like the chat feature for help. Although they couldn't help move the order forward quickly and my order was wrong, they were attentive. If you think the turnaround will be 2 weeks or so, you're kidding yourself. It appears that the sales function and the lab are totally disconnected and I wouldn't be surprised if the lenses are created in a totally different location. They have to get this down if they want to get repeat business. Just not efficient.
Hi David, we are sorry your order took longer than expected and hope the final outcome was worth the wait. On average, most orders are completed in about 2 weeks from start to finish. Once we receive your glasses, lens production takes about 4-7 days barring no issues in quality check, and then the time to return them to you.
I wanted to get new eye prescription glasses and my husband suggested Lensabl as they seemed to have reasonable prices. I submitted all the required paper work and after waiting almost a month, I finally got my progressive glasses. Immediately, I found that my right eye had the wrong prescription. I made them aware of this and they asked me to send pictures, which I did. After not responding to me I contacted them again and they told me to send my glasses back that they were going to fix the problem. It took them 2 months to get those glasses back to me. No one will respond to my emails until one day I got an email saying that my glasses were going to be delivered soon. They did! I have been using my glasses for a year now and the coating on the right lense is coming off. This place is just terrible. The quality of the lenses is the worst I have ever seen. I have been using glasses for 50 years and I have never had this problem ever. Please, if you want to get good quality of lenses with the correct prescription, pay a little bit more and run away from this scam.
Hi Mayra - our lab is one of the largest optical labs in the world, and our lenses are the same quality used by optometrists. While coating defects are rare, they do occasionally happen. We offer a 90 day lens warranty on all orders and an extended 1-year warranty for only $10.
First order was damaged in production, so they arrived about a week late. When they did arrive, the pupillary distance had been improperly calculated, so I had to go to take the measurement myself with a vernier caliper and send the glasses back to them. Another 10 business days later, the glasses are correct and work fine. Communication was good and responses were fast.

Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
