I had used Lensabl in the past and while far more expensive than my optometrist it made sense for the frames I had. I had a fine experience. But this time around has been totally different. A month after sending in the frames they asked me a question. I answered. Weeks went by. I was told it would be 4-7 business days and I'd hear they were shipped. 12 days went by. I reached out. They said, Oh wow. Yeah there is a problem. We have to start over. That was weeks ago. Now they don't reply. Done
I enjoyed working with Lensabl to have my lens changed in my eyeglasses. They did such a good job that I sent my sunglasses in to have my prescription put in them. The lens in my sunglasses were not up to their satisfaction when they came back from the lab, so they sent them back and would not send them to me until they were done correctly. Thank you Lensabl for your great service and quality work!
Pros - Ease of ordering - OK Pricing - Received shipping box within 24 hours of order - production time was faster than the time-frame given on their website - Received item within 24hrs of completion in a very nice box.
Cons - Wrong lens color and this is a big one. While lensable did provide the requested partial refund, I'm stuck with being reminded daily of having a pair of pink mirrored sunglasses which is really annoying. In hindsight I should have requested more of a refund as I really, really dislike pink.
I've ordered two pairs of sunglasses now to have my prescription put into. I bought sunglasses and sent them in. The box came quickly and my glasses were back to me in a little over a Week! They're staff have always been helpful and everything is listed out with easy instructions, will absolutely order from them again!
They made the lens wrong and had largely stretched my frames that my frames are no longer wearbale. These are new frames i just got. I have been in contact with customer service for 3 months now. They keep dropping the response. I dont know what I can do now. They ruined my $600 frames and obviously as well as the price of getting the lenses which is another $170.

I am giving Lensabl 1 out of 5 stars because they have gotten only 1 out of my 5 orders correct. They usually forget to put AR coating on both sides of the lenses, even when I write it down. I had to ship back one pair of frames three times because they kept forgetting to put AR coating on the outside so eventually we settled on them just shipping me the lenses and I would install them on my own, but by then my frames had already been bent out of shape from replacing lenses so many times.
They offered me complimentary lens polishing once but evidently they forgot to polish one lens so I have two lenses of different edge thicknesses in one pair of glasses. They got my latest order wrong and refuse to offer a refund, which is unacceptable.
I switched to Lensabl from Replacement Lens Express since Lensabl is slightly cheaper. However, it seems that I will now be switching back due to the constant errors with my orders.

I just received the box with my glasses. Nestled in a beautiful new case is my own frame with brand new lenses. Also included is a nice little care kit. It is like having a brand new pair of glasses! The lenses are absolutely perfect! You had alerted me that there might be a problem and requested my permission to go on because of the fragility of the frames and the possibility of breakage, but everything worked perfectly. I am so grateful!

I got this deal on Groupon for my husband. He was skeptical but he absolutely loves the lenses! It did take 3 weeks from mail to getting them back but you can track the process. The packaging and case were fantastic.
I had an old pair of frames that had scratched up lenses and I wanted to update them with a new prescription. I've worn glasses most of my life and hate that I end up trashing the frames that tend to be some of the most expensive parts of my glasses! This was super easy to use, and the guide for figuring out my pupil distance was easy to follow. Will definitely use again. Received a new case with glasses cleaner solution and cloth. All within a more-than-acceptable amount of time.

No one answers e mails or phone, they gave me wrong rx and i sent my glasses in with 200$ case they returned my glasses with a crappy white case with their logo. Ive been asking for my case back for 3 weeks and a refund no on replies and there is no phone number. You cant blame crappy customer service on covid.
If you are expecting your glasses in a timely fashion, forget it. There is a huge lack of communication and follow up. You can not even speak to a live person! I won't be ordering again.
This customer service person (Jayme) deserves a raise! The shipping was a bit messed up BUT not because of Lensabl... it was USPS that was mixed up... but also because of these crazy times (Coronavirus). I would recommend this company to everyone and if you were lucky enough to have the same customer service representative as I did with you in the best hands probably in the industry. I have to admit that I've been a pushy -impatient and hard to please customer at times... but Lensabl has went ABOVE AND BEYOND the normal call of duty PLUS SOME! You will be happy and satisfied if you use this company. Take it from me hard to please Customer that's very very pleased!
I purchased prescription sunglass lenses and decided to pay the premium for the polarization option.
If you choose non-polarized lenses you get to choose the darkness level of the lenses. With the polarized option you don't.
When you choose the polarization option, it doesn't state anywhere during the checkout process that the polarized lenses are not as dark as the non-polarized option (tinted lenses)
The polarized lens tints come stock and they cannot make them any darker.
So I am stuck with some sunglasses that just aren't that dark. I can even look at myself in the mirror and see my eyes through the lenses.
Lensable did offer to re-do my order and use tinted lenses instead of the polarized ones - but I would have to pay 70% of the cost.
So the first time I paid $227. They offered to re-do them for another $120.
I decided not to take them up on the offer as I don't want two pairs of sunglasses (one that I'm not happy with) that cost me almost $350
Lensabl did fine on the actual lenses. I just wish I had all the information up-front before making a purchase. Lensabl: Add more information to your website during the checkout process.
Everything was great. Excellent seamless service. My only gripe would be, my transition lenses don't get as dark as I had expected. But really clear and clean lenses overall

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
