A few days after ordering my glasses, I received an email stating there had been an issue when making my lenses, so there would be a delay in shipping. Not a problem, but after about 2 weeks, I received no update. I emailed customer service and before I even got a response, I received an email stating the glasses had been shipped. They arrived a few days later. I'm very happy with the glasses, but the order process was a little odd…maybe just a coincidence that I emailed customer service the same day the glasses were being shipped.
The lenses that were put in my glasses are terrific and the turn time was very fast. There was slight damage to my frames and I'm trying to get that worked out now with customer service.

The only issue with it is that as you can read from my order, it contained my specific color of blue transition lenses. My glasses did not contain blue, I think they are grey or charcoal. All else, great.
The first time my order came through, I couldn't see with my new glasses. Everything was blurry and they gave me a headache. I contacted customer service and, after several emails over a two week period, they finally agreed to remake the lenses. When the second pair came in, they were perfect. I loved the frames I had and not many places will allow you to keep your old frames so there is definitely a need for this type of business but I don't know if I would use Lensabl again. The hassle of trying to get the lenses remade when I repeatedly told them I could not see was stressful - especially knowing I couldn't get a refund.
I always looks this particular frame but the lenses were destroyed. I sent them into Lensabl and in a short period of time they are in my possession. I am now enjoying one of my favorite frames once again. TYSM
Prices are reasonable, and I love my new glasses. Customer service is good if a little slow. It can be difficult to tell from the site how long it'll take to get your glasses, but this is the third pair that I've received, and will likely use them again.

I bought vintage frames off of ebay and there was no issue replacing the lenses with my perscription! I wish that Lebsabl offered frame cleaning/nose pad replacement, as when I got them back I noticed how much dirt had built up over the years on my vintage frames. The nose pads were disgusting, and in attempting to replace them myself I have scratched my new lenses, and on of the screws was impossible to get out and had to go to an optometrist office to get them to take it out. But the experience was fairly quick and I'm happy with my new frames and will be using this service again!
Love my new sunnies, they look great! Love the mirror tint color options too. The mirror coating is pretty thin, it's more of a hint of mirror than a fully mirrored lens, but it still looks good.
The first issue I encountered was out not knowing that I needed to take a photo of me with the sunglasses on before I shipped them. I got that request after the glasses were shipped and there was nothing I could do. Would have been nice if that was included in the order page so that it would be required for placing the order.
I ordered a progressive lens with mirrored tint and knew it would take a little longer, but was not prepared to wait NINE WEEKS. Sadly, they did not arrive until I got back from my vacation. Apparently there were a couple of problems along the way and the lenses had to be started over. The issue I have was the total lack of communication. I would check my order page for updates and there never were any at all. So I would check with customer service, and they would eventually get back to me with an update from the lab, but usually just to tell me something went wrong and not with an estimated delivery date. I never got a shipping confirmation email either.
My glasses look good and I have more that need lenses. I'm just not sure if I will do this again. If Lensabl improved their communication, it would go a long way towards the customer experience.
Ok. There really is nothing to report. Wish was cheaper, didn't take as long but am happy with the results.
I am very happy with my "new" glasses and grateful for this service which wasn't available in the past.
It took over 3 weeks to get my glasses though all the communication I received from lensabl stated I should get it in a week.
I reached out 3 times to support for an update and found out my frames were on backorder. That is fine but you should have proactively told me not having to have me reach out.
Also with each support interaction I was told they would email me updates and they never did.
My second time contacting support they told me that my glasses would ship that day (Friday) but they did not ship until the following Tuesday.
The only complaint is the website. It could be set up a little more clearly with having prescription glasses in their own category instead of imbedded within the sunglasses, I'd also recommend a virtual try on option!

The lenses I received from Lensabl are multiple powers off for both eyes and both AXIS are completely wrong, as confirmed by my local optometrist. The glasses/lenses are completely useless. Before the order was processing, I added a new prescription for the order, and they are claiming that despite the order yet to be in progress and the fact that the prescription attached to order could be updated, that this is my fault. As a "courtesy" they are offering to remake them at 75% of full price. Even now as I look at my order, I see the correct prescription attached.
I will look elsewhere for online prescription lenses and advise you to do the same. Do yourself a favor and look at the number of bad reviews.
It's was a seamless experience, although one pair of glasses does not close correctly, as the lenses are to thick.
Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
