I gave 3 stars because their finished work is impeccable, but, I took 1 star because corresponding with them through email takes forever for a response. I took another star because their site is not accurate at all times. I had to contact them frequently to find out where they were with my glasses. Other than those 2 items they do great work. The finished product is proof.
Sent my sunglasses out to update my prescription and replace the damaged lenses. They came back faster than i expected looking good as new! They did a great job and I cannot wait to start using them again
Well, I was excited that the new Bose Tenor sound sunglasses could now be purchased directly w your prescription lenses to order. But I learned quickly after when you do, the Bose website takes you to this third party Lensabl site (that looks very similar to the Bose webpage) so you can supply your and upload your personal prescription. The website claims your order will "six business days" once it "arrives" at their lab. Be aware! This is completely false! Your order will take up to 6 weeks! But they won't tell you that! Oh, and btw, once your order "arrives" at the lab, it's no longer able to cancel the order! You are now stuck waiting and waiting and waiting while your order still says will ship to you in "6 business days". I contacted customer care via email bc there is no phone number and they won't give you one even I after I requests to speak with a representative, and they kept saying to me that there was a problem w my
Lenses after their "quality inspection" and they had not passed and needed to be remade. This happened three times a my order (hmmmmmm big red flag there too!). Anyway, I called Bose and spoke to them only to learn that once you click that button on their webpage to have your new Bose glasses w a prescription lenses Bose has nothing to do with your order and they can't help you at all (the order number you get is not even a Bose web order number they can track). I will not buy from or recommend anyone order from Lensabl due to this horrible experience and customer journey I had to go through over the seven weeks just to get my over $500 order.
It wasn't all that great although I was kept somewhat up to date on my lenses as well as my lenses being in good quality. It seems satisfying to finally have my glasses in good condition but a unfortunately experience waiting 2 month for my glasses and the lab misplacing my glasses causing me quite the inconvenience. I will not recommend this lenses company to anyone but I am happy with the quality in my lenses for now. I appreciate the consistent contact to say the leash.
This has got to be the worst company I have ever done business with. The lenses have imperfections in them and the process was exceedingly long. Tomorrow, I will test the transition lens in the sun to see if that works.
I won't be sending back my frames if this company wants to fix the lenses because I'm just don't trust this company with them and may never see them again.
I've contacted my credit card company for a chargeback or discuss a substantial percentage off. Will also file a complaint (along with many others) with the BBB.
I'll be honest I was worried. I didn't feel my prescription was accurate but I sent them out to be done by lensabl. When they arrived back to me, about a week and half later, I anxiously opened the box. Perfection! I was so blown away how crisp and clear everything looked. Thank you so much for a great experience! I look forward to getting another pair done through lensabl!
The customer service team at Lensabl is amazing. This may sound like I was hired to say this, but I'm not. They really care about your issues and actually return emails. They listen about any problems and are willing to go the extra mile to make sure your glasses are correct. They will exchange them if necessary and make a whole new set of glasses. They're just really excellent. I tried WP (warby parker) and they were just nasty - I cut them loose. Lensabl even does exams via computer or mobile device. The exam is reviewed by a real Doctor and can be used anywhere. I highly recommend purchasing your glasses from Lensabl. No hassle. And just blazing fast and courteous Customer Service. 5 stars.
Got glasses back, left eye totally wrong. Sent glasses back 3 weeks ago, got a "we're working on it" email a few times. Asked for money back, haven't heard back.
Went to boomerang in the meantime and got another pair re-lenses for less money, same Rx and it was perfect.

Easy to order lenses only, with my frames. Took awhile to get here, but I'm on the other side of the country. These were the first lenses I ordered, and I was hesitant because they are progressives. But they are perfect! Thanks, and I'm be ordering again for sure.
Not thrilled. Company advertises 4 to 6 business day turnaround. It took six weeks for my order to be completed. They use quality control excuses to buy themselves time. It's pretty obvious that they send these overseas to an Asian factory, although they claim they have a lab in the US. They did not return the lens case. They have no telephone customer service. They respond to all telephone calls with an email, so you can't discuss an issue with a real person. The kicker, though, is they sent me a customer satisfaction survey BEFORE they shipped my lenses back to me. I waited three days to see if my "finished" lens would ship, and they did not. Once a completed the survey, the glasses shipped. So they basically held my lenses hostage until I filled out a favorable rating.
I love shopping at estate sales and thrift shops. I've had three pairs of lenses already made and a pair of sunglasses all progressive. I will definitely recommend the service and quality of the results.
I ordered replacement progressive bifocal lenses. They came back not quite cut to my prescription. I wrote via email and Alex replied promptly and was able to help and assist in getting the glasses re-cut to my expectations. It was fast and hassle free. I would recommend Lensabl. Lensable do exactly as they say! I sent in 2 pairs of glasses and 1 pair of sunglasses at the same time and got them back just under 2 weeks later. The sunglasses were designer and handled well. My other lenses I was more worried about - the frames I sent in are my favorites, but they aren't expensive or great quality and so I was worried they might break, but they came back with no problems at all. It's a bit pricey for some things (I got light transition lenses for 1 pair as my eyes are very sensitive), but it's worth the investment both in terms of quality and for the eco-friendliness. If I hadn't gone with them, I would have had to throw away my old glasses and order new ones. Overall I loved the service and experience. I'll recommend them to everyone!
I provided Lensabl my optometrist's prescription that had recently been used successfully to make similar curved polarized sunglass lenses. It took Lensabl four tries and six weeks to get them right. During this process I was required to send multiple photos of myself that were never quite good enough because they couldn't see my pupils through the dark, polarized lenses. And I'm a professional photographer! How was it that my optometrist's lab was able to successfully make the lenses with just the same prescription? Their quality control was terrible. On one of their attempts they completely left out the prism part of my prescription even though that's the major part of it.
The customer service was also terrible. There never was an update unless I questioned why it was taking so long. And no possible way to actually talk to a human being. Avoid this lab if possible!
In my opinion only, approximately 6 weeks or so to get my product after the company botched it (the lenses were not done right per them and the glasses were on
Backorder) were the email excuses. Good product. Way to long to wait.

From processing delays to failed quality control to poor customer service to repeated inquiries from me, it was the worst consumer experience I've had this year. Five weeks passed between I placed the order (which was supposed to be a gift) and when I received it. High cost and low satisfaction are never a good recipe.
Their customer service was speedy and would answer my question in the first day. The only downside is they shipped my order and forgot to set it to shipped with tracker code. But that was fixed pretty quickly

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
