After eagerly waiting for my glasses to be delivered, imagine my surprise when 8 opened the box to find someone else's glasses. To say I am dissatisfied is an understatement.
My glasses took almost three months to be sent back with very few updates. They work fine now that I have them, but because it took so long to receive them, I found a quicker solution. I wouldn't recommend Lensabl. Zenni optical has worked out better for me.
I've purchased from lensabl serveral times. My most recent purchase I messed up my order, but they caught it and worked with me to fix it. Their customer service rep was outstanding. The order came fast and the product was flawless as usual. Also, I had an eye Dr. visit and out of curiosity I had them quote me for my lenses, they were way more expensive. Going to be staying with lensable!
Received my lenses back from Lensabl and right temple piece fell off 15 minutes later-the glasses were not even on my face. In addition the sold me transition lenses for driving and the shade it becomes at night is way to dark to drive with. Dangerous, I might add.

Was disappointed in the length of time to receive my glasses but very satisfied with the quality. I do understand the COVID protocol and how that has affected every business, but expectations were that they would be shipped in 4-7 business days. Order made on 7/26/21 and glasses received on 8/24/21. Need to lower the expectations to reality and better communications during process when delayed. I initiated the communication, and only after inquiries, did I receive a response.
Highly pleased with using this service to get new lenses put into my existing frames. The highest quality and material of lenses have been offered at a very reasonable price. Would be the only source for my glasses need in future, so I can recommend it for everyone!

I've had Lensabl do a set of single-vision lenses in an existing frame, and it went just fine. However, when I bought a new frame from them and had them put in bifocals, the reading lenses were oddly low-set. They re-made them, but there was some delay. I then decided to get a similar frame with progressive lenses. It took a very long time (they told me the first lenses they made didn't pass quality control), and when they arrived, the reading segment was remarkably low — practically on the edge of the lenses. Also, the edges at the top and sides didn't focus well. I had to send it back (they make the excuse that segment height can be difficult to figure out, but you'd think that between having it from my last order AND the fact that these were crazy low, they'd do a better job.) Had to send it back to them again. This time, it was done faster, and far better.
So they're reasonable for single-vision, but it takes a while for them to get anything more complex correct. Mind you, I've had progressive lenses done online by another company, and they've nailed it on the first go each time, so I don't think I'm being unreasonable in my expectations...
I had some issues giving them my PD measurements. They could have used the first pictures I sent, but they contacted me and requested I send new ones to ensure I received my glasses exactly how I should. They arrived a little later than I would have liked, but they are my new faves!
I was very disappointed in my last order. Your website kept telling me that it was in process and should ship in 6 days. That status never changed over the course of 6 weeks. I emailed back and forth 3 times with your customer service, which did little to expedite my order.
Ordered BOSE Tempo prescription sunglasses in Late July and it took over 1.5 months to arrive. Communication was misleadingly assuring as I kept getting told it was near the complete stage. I've now received the sunglasses and am pretty sure the prescription is incorrect. Very disappointed.
Right away I could tell I was happy with the quality of my lenses. Price is very reasonable as well. I will definitely shop from Lensabl again.
I had never used online to purchase my glasses but recently somone sugessted I try. I wanted to use my own frames so I googled someone who would let me do that and I found Lensable. THe review were good so I thought I would try. YOu sent me a box for my frames and I just got the completed glases to day. All I can say is "awsome". These are really great and done perfect. I was even able to upload the bill to my insuance company and the paid 100%. This experince was the best. I wold definatly use Lesable again and I am going to recomend to anyone who wants to save money and get great glasses. Thank you!
It took two and a half weeks for them to replace my lenses, not including shipping time. It turns out my lenses failed a quality check so they had to remake them. I'm glad they're on top of quality, but there was no communication that there would be a delay, or why, until I got in touch more than two weeks after they had received my glasses. Had their status page said anything besides "your lenses are expected to ship in 6 business days" the entire time, or if they'd proactively reached out, I would've been a lot more comfortable waiting.
Easy online process and shipping. The glasses came back in a nice case with a cleaning kit. The lenses are perfect and I can't wait to wear them. Would highly recommend
The company has the worst customer service of any online company I've ever dealt with, and I've dealt with plenty.
First, they have no access via phone at all, and because of the many problems with my order, when I asked (via email) for them to call me, the response was they didn't have the resources to discuss my $600+ order.
Also, my order was initially placed - and paid for - on July 23, but I just finally received the glasses yesterday, 60 days later.
And, each time I reached out via email to get updates on my order's status, when I would finally get an email reply, inevitably it was from a different "customer service" rep each time. This despite my specifically requesting one person take personal responsibility to handle my account as a point of contact (POC) within the company to ensure continuity because of the multiple difficulties with my order. My request was IGNORED.
And while their website has a "track my order" link, when clicking on it, when checked it always said "your order cannot be tracked'.
And to top it all, when after all this frustration I opened the package I was sent, although I ordered prescription bose sunglasses, of the two sets of lenses I got, only one is actually prescription, and despite being ordered, does not have the gradient sunglass effect I wanted.
Dealing with this company has been absolutely atrocious. Zero effective customer service, plus wrong product sent.
And now, BECAUSE of no CS, I have no recourse I'm confident in to to to to correct the incorrect order. BOO to this infantile, unprofessional, lousy company. They should be ashamed. Minus 1 stars.
I waited almost two months for the delivery and when I receive it the lenses dont fit. Worst experience so far, not recommended it.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
