The craftsmanship of the product is great. I've been unable to get prescription wrap-around cycling glasses anywhere else, and these are perfect - progressive sunglasses.
Unfortunately it took almost 2 months to receive them. Customer service was relatively responsive, with generic updates.

Had old frames that were still in great condition but my local LensCrafters wanted an arm and leg to replace the prescription lenses. I'm very happy with Lensabl work and would definitely recommend them
Where to start? Lensabl has had my sunglasses ( Costa CE 059 - $300) since late July. Over that timeline, they have replaced the lens with the prescription I sent in and to which they did not pass their final inspection. Back to the beginning and try again I was told after inquiring twice as to why they were late in corresponding (mid August). No further communication with me until I reached out again in late August and early Sept. Was told glasses "still in lab." Same thing in mid Sept and late Sept to my inquiries. Fast forward to today (Sept 30th) and note I received last night..." frames separated from paperwork and having trouble locating"... in other words, they lost them! To their credit, they're offering to replace the frame, but no comment on lens. So back to commo 101 in my dealings with this company.
This has not been a good experience. My note to them on this whole transaction will be hard. See if it gets anywhere. I'm not optimistic based on their record of communication to date. Very disappointing.

Sent in a two separate pair of Oakley safety frames, on two different occasions. Both the Det Cord and the Shock Tube frames came back perfectly with my prescription lenses. I even had one with bi-focal lenses. Prior to finding Lensabl I could not find anyone that was willing to the prescription lenses for these frames... at least not reasonably or as timely. If you are wanting bi-focal lenses, you definitely need to specify your desired height. I personally go as low as usably possible which is 10mm. I believe 15mm is standard.
Perhaps they will make this a selection within their ordering process system.
I loved by new Lensabl lenses, but was really annoyed with myself when I dropping them on the ground and scratching one of the lenses. I was super impressed when I discovered that Lensabl purchases include a protection plan that offers free replacement if you damage the lens within 3 months of receipt. I just got the replaced lenses back, they're great, and they've made me an even happier customer - thank you!
I really like my new frames and don't understand why I didn't get an Oliver People's case with them
Your method of obtaining PD by using photographs did not work at all in my case. The first pair of glasses you sent me, had the focal points too close together, and I was seeing double. However, when I informed you of the problem, and gave you more accurate PD numbers from my former lens makers, you corrected the problem. I'm currently wearing the second pair you sent me, which are working fine. Thank you for fixing the issue.
Ordering process was easy to do on your website. On 8/18/21 I was told it would take 4-7 days to create the lens and then an additional week for the anti-fog coating.
I never received any updates on the status of my order until I contacted Lensabl on 9/27/21 and was told the order was to be shipped the following day which it was.
Not sure why I wasn't provided an update on the delay and if I hadn't contacted Lensabl if the order would have shipped the next day?
I found this service on Facebook and was excited to not lose my favorite sunglasses after having cataract surgery. The prescription was no longer needed and this allowed me to still be rocking my frames. The service was quick, efficient, and so am so pleased with the lens put in. Thanks highly recommend!
My glasses actually seem clearer (better rx fit as far as my vision for reading compared to my current glasses same rx (not sure how that's possible). However there is an antireflective coating that I assume was missed or I forgot to order. They are so reflective which I am not used to, that I'm not sure I will wear them. I have a small scratch on my current glasses. For now I'm just keeping the new lensabl pair on hand.
This was my 2nd time using Lensabl. I was tired of getting ripped off on purchasing my eyewear at the optometrist. After the exam they lead you straight to the fitting station like leading pigs to slaughter. The mark up was 300%. I finally got smart when I found Lensabl. I purchase really nice frames online for reasonable price and pay half the prices for lens at Lensabl. You ship your frame out and they send them back in short time. My only issue is technical but minor. I suggest the online accounts should be updated to reflect order status with shipped date and tracking # in conjunction to email notice. Emails get lost and deleted. I will continue to use Lensabl for all future eyeglass lens. Thank you
We did a lot of research online and on their website, and even if they let you know how long it would take, unfortunately, it was not the case. They give you an option for them to send you a box to send back your glasses, or they highly recommend for quicker turnaround for you to send them out which I choose to do and I paid for it to get there quicker and to track it, and with that being said, I noticed it sat in their location without anyone touching them because they give you the ability to track your order with them step by step throughout the process. I had to reach out by email (the only way they communicate) to ask them why there were no updates on my account since my glasses were sitting there. Finally, someone responded to let me know they were working on it. Almost 30 days later, I finally received my glasses without my case or sleeve, and when I reached out to them about this three times, they told me they couldn't find them and that I should have sent them without the case. Overall not a good experience!
I ordered prescription sunglasses on 8/29. It took nearly a month for them to arrive -- only shipped (coincidentally?) when I emailed to look for an update. When the glasses did arrive on 9/24, I found that they sent me clear lenses! There is no obvious way to call lensabl to work these things out. Instead, email responses have been slow. Friday at 12 pm PT -- "A post-order specialist will be reviewing this... and will follow up with you here shortly with a solution to the issue." Nothing Friday. Nothing Monday. I had to email again on Tuesday to ask what was happening.
It's not clear what value I am getting. The glasses weren't particularly cheap, nor were they fast, and now I am dealing with errors. Slowly.
The first pair of sunglasses I sent in got damaged during the process, I was really upset because they were limited edition sunglasses and Gentle Monster designers. I reached out to support and Jove from customer support helped me out and had ordered another pair from Gentle Monster to redo and have it shipped to me. While it was not the original pair, this was a great resolution and customer service. The replacement pair came with no issues this time.
For general feedback, the status update on orders seems to be broken and did not show any steps in between while my order was being handled, I had to manually contact customer support in order to find out the status of my order.
Just received my glasses back yesterday and so far so good! I need to tinker with the fit a bit (new wire frames), but I think these are a winner!
The lenses were not hard to order. I sent my old frames in and the new lenses look and work excellent. It was sometimes hard to determine current status of my order, but the glasses were delivered in the timeframe promised, so no worries.
Never order prescription glasses online. I'm giving 2 stars only because I appreciated the email letting me know my lenses had a "quality issue" and needed to be redone, and the tracking that let me know how off-track my package was. I'm a frontline healthcare worker and I needed my prescription Stoggles back asap. On top of the month to fulfill my order, these were another 46 days in transit - 21 days across the US, 22 days sitting in Customs, 3 days across Canada. I ordered in July. Finally got my glasses at the end of September. Worse yet: my expensive lenses (high Rx + transitions) did not take into account how the Stoggles sit further away from one's face. Something they should have been aware of given the special deal between Stoggles and Lensabls. The result is distortion that will be impossible thru a 24hr hospital shift. Hundreds of dollars later, I'll still need to see an optometrist in person to try to get these fixed. EXTREMELY disappointed and frustrated.
Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
