Process went smooth but I ended up booking through a third party site instead of directly with the airline which was a bit surprising. I didn't see a disclosure to this effect when I started my search. I thought I would be booking directly with the airline.

Please stay away from Jusfly.com. It's a scam a trap. When you book it there is no way out. Nothing what so ever. Ridiculous fees.
First time user. Made an international reservation for a family member. The seat assignments were lost between reservation and the week before the flight. Now there is a technical issue where they cannot assign a seat. So JustFly offers a $15 refund instead of the $30 in seat fees that the airline charges. Also turns out that the international flight had no luggage. $140 extra each way ($60 carry on $80 checked bag)... $280 extra plus taxes fees and what that will be sure to follow. Who flies international for two weeks without a bag? Should have just used the more traditional / mainstream online agencies.
PS: Tried to speak to a supervisor regarding the technical issue with seat assignments and refunding. Took 45 minutes to speak to someone. They were quickly to point out that seat assignment was not guaranteed and the airline can charge more. So basically they collect $15 for a seat assignment, whether it works or not, and the customer is on the hook for whatever extra it costs... due to programming issues or policy or time...

The title says it all. The change fees are outrageous, and JustFly adds their own change fee in addition to that of the airline. I was asked to pay $750 for changing a business ticket. Twice. Beware! Hold times also are incredible. Last time I was disconnected. Hard to believe they can even do business. I wonder if they deliberately have long hold times so you have to accept the change fee in utter despair. Now, in desperation, I changed my ticket to coach class online. They charged me the $150 fee but did not change the ticket. I can't believe this company is allowed to operate.
After an hour and a half of being on hold and passed from one representative to another, we were scammed. We had to cancel a reservation due to a family emergency and at the time of the cancellation we were told there was a $300 fee and had to use the credit within a year and it was valid to any destination of our choice. Well low and behold, when trying to book another trip, we were told by a supervisor Uca that our tickets are only valid to use with the original airline and destination. We could not change our trip to another destination. We were lied to and deceived by Justfly.com. It is time to get the Attorney General involved in their misleading sales practices and polices. I will also reach out to Jet Blue and tell them of our experience with Justfly.com.
If I have my way, I will give no star. This justfly organization is thieves. Corporate thieves. I purchased a round trip ticket... somewhat happy with the price, then after the purchase i re-checked my artinerary and the price had increased about $12. I called to complain and justfly said the price had just increased at that moment... yeah right!
Let me preface this by saying: I am someone who never writes negative reviews. I meditate everyday and surround myself only by positive persons. This was genuinely the most stressful and obviously not having my best interest in mind experience with a company I have ever had. I had a flight canceled two weeks before my trip. I called everyday for a week trying to reschedule. They kept playing games and telling they sent my request to the airline when they hadn't. I suspect JustFly did not want to pay the difference in flight cost. Theb when they finally rescheduled me I called a few days later to confirmthis is now 2 days before my tripand they told me they overbooked the flight. So they didn't even call me to tell me, I had to call THEM to find out. Since the first call 2 weeks before my trip were telling me I should just take the refund and cancel my trip. That's what they wanted me to do and they schemed me into it. My cousin had the same flight and they did the same thing to her, almost as if they had a whole script prepared for incidents like this. Their customer service is awful, they will lie to you and give you the run around and try to manipulate you into doing what they want. Do not use JustFly.
I was able to book my flight easily and search easily to find the best deals for what I was looking for.
