ID me is a blatant grab of information red their terms of service and look at the cookies that track you. There couldn't be a more blatant tracking and information grab as far as I'm concerned. In order to apply for financial aid ID me was jammed down my throat.
I don't trust this company nor should you again red their terms of service and what they're gonna do with your photographs and the video they take of your face. It is likely that I will spend a lot of time trying to get my information removed from ID.me
The ID.me service is fast and efficient. The only downside side in my experience was that the automatic photo snap without warning and no options to review or try again was frustrating!
I was having to basically start over as I had an account but had not changed my phone number. I had to verify who I was before I could get in and change the number so it could sent codes where I could get them. I had a little problem but nothing major.

This women was so kind that our coversation lasted 5 minutes and I was approve after changing my number. I thought I was completly locked out of my ss income check page. If it was not for id.me I would be lost to password reset.

Then a new phone 18 mo ago. At change-over, several security sites got messed up somehow?
I tried but got frustrated, aggrivated, just forgot about no access with ID.me and went on.
Lately several govt sites increased security and access, so coast time was about up.
I called ID.me, asked for help to a fix. The Kady was real nice, very good, got me established in short order. Now have all needed access back and intact!

Totally the best way to get access veterans benefits and programs that affects some of my life in some form or fashion. Definitely a great tool to have.
Spent hours trying to find help other than the stupid AI helper they have. You might search forever trying to find a number or email to get in touch with someone to help. I spent about half a day trying to find someone to help with my issue. It was only after I emailed "Pissed Customer" did someone from ID.me contact me by email, he was able to fix the issue in just a short time..
I am always skeptical of providing personal information online. However, I eventually felt more comfortable with the process as I maneuver through.
Make more believes. I am so happy for this new experience. I understood how to do that, but I believe I can when I try and some one helps me.
Once I verified my identity after the first time it was super easy and super fast to log in after that. It was very convenient and I am so glad I didn't have to stress out about having to log in again and having to do some second Factor login that's annoying and time-consuming.
Not completely comfortable with using the computer to upload documents needed to complete various personal applications for identifying the applicant. Need to carefully read the respective instructions and it could be very helpful if you discuss the application process with someone who had recently completed the computer application process. It might also be helpful if you google ID.me to be more familiar with company and it benefits.
Does not work! Nothing I ever submit can be verified. Nothing! And I love when my phone number can't be verified and they say to 'use another number' like who has multiple phones/numbers?
And it should be able to be verified since it's my phone that I pay the bill on!
Since using ID.me for military service verification, I have been getting spammed into oblivion with offers from spammers who got my info from ID.me. Do not recommend
