All I wanted to do was to make an estimated tax payment. In the past I just entered the necessary information on Direct Pay and it took no more than a few minutes. This time I was not allowed to access Direct Pay without going through a long process of verification first with this organization. I had no choice and was tired at the end.
I had an old phone number from pre 2019 on file. I tried to correct it, and it suspended my IRS and my recently unlocked CDLE account. The CDLE account I literally had to escalate to my state senator to get unsuspended. And as soon as I use that same information on the IRS website, it suspended my account again. So now I am guessing I am going to have to escalate to my senator again to try and get this corrected. Unless this team finally reaches out to me and allows me to verify I am who I have proved to be, just with a new phone number.

I had a few issues on the process but it was pretty straightforward. The agent was super and very patient. Her type of personality helps prevent a customer from getting flustered. I was shocked that I got through the process in a short time span. It's just a shame that all of us have to go through this again when this documentation was provided when I signed up (plus a lot of other documentation.). Hopefully, the SS Office will not lose anymore employees with all this ruckus with this new administration. They have done nothing but make everyone's life more difficult thanks to their incoherency of everything.

Extremely hard to up load driver license. It took 2 days for your system to accept license and photo. Also you wanted information on certain lines, you have had my return with supporting documents for 2 months. Had to call my tax guy who was on vacation, thankfully he had his lap top with him
