On 30/07/2017 i made a reservation for Dubai Ramada Chelsea Al Barsha hotel.
As per web site my obligation was to pay in the hotel:
"Pay Later! You will not be charged until you check out of the hotel. You can cancel this itinerary free of charge up to 1 day before arrival.
Pay Later! Your creditcard details are used only to guarantee your booking. You will pay at Ramada Chelsea Al Barsha during your stay at the hotel."
But after few minutes I have received a SMS from my bank that my credit card had been charged with 200 AED at CHELSEA TOWER, DUBAI.
I am very disappointed about the way that you treat your customers and I do not understand which kind of regulation you are using you and the particular hotel in ignore of your customers.
They will steal your money if you try to cancel. Absolutely zero integrity and very unprofessional. Customer service rude and weak.
I booked two rooms on the same credit card, got one booking number for both rooms. On arrival at the Mountain Retreat Hotel in Squarmish, BC they could only find one room. After a 30 minute wait they finally found the other room. We thought we were booking a Best Western Hotel.
Never use HotelsOne.com again, will deal directly with hotel
30 days previous to the 1st week of July 2017 is when I take my vacation. I am a Hilton H honors member and I went to the website to make reservations. Without me knowing hotels one snatched me into their website. I began to make reservations and after the reservations was complete I print my receipt. They have their computer set up where it automatically changes your date so they can charge you more. If you try to cancel there is no refund at all-and they keep your money. With all this being said I do not recommend anybody to do business with this company. They are bogus and a total scam. Please proceed with caution.
I called for a room on a certain date. They put in the day I called to make reservations not the day I wanted to stay, then charged me for the date they put in. BS... I called and they told me to bad. Then email me 10 days after the fact with the comfermation number. What the hell is that.
HotelsOne is a big SCAM! DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. I HOPE FBI WILL GET THEM. They prey on credit cards, they steal and watch out because they will wipe out your money. If you come across their website RAN!
This phone# came up when I was looking to book a hotel. They booked 2 rooms with king beds instead of 2 doubles - and I had 5 people staying. I have spent hours trying to get it resolved, and they are giving me the run around. I will never use this service again.
I was trying to book a reservation directly through Econo lodge and this site popped up. I thought I was on the hotel site. It asked me what card to hold the reservation on and I entered the card number and it immediately charged me for 2 nights. In less than 5 minutes I called back to cancel and they said I will be charged for 1 night. I still had to pay for 1 night. This company is FRAUD. Their representatives are located in the Philippines.
DO NOT USE HOTELSONE. Do yourself a favor and contact the hotel directly. This company is horrible. They provide absolutely no value to the hotel booking experience. Horrible Customer Service (just calling it service is an insult to actual service). ZERO chance of ever talking to someone who can make billing corrections. ZERO Chance of ever getting a refund. How this place can stay in business is mind blowing. Hopefully the word will get out and the customers will dry up. STAY AWAY
I've booked 2 nights hotel and cancelled 10 days before the original check in date that is before penalty is imposed according to their email confirmation.
But they refunded $100.00 less!
Inquired *******683. First call, they hung up in the middle of me telling them reservation#. 2nd call, phone was breaking out so bad (for sure that's them). 3rd call, the rep said $100.00 is due to hotel policy, not HOTELSONE but the hotel was saying that is HOTELSONE policy. So the rep said "let me check further " then go hold. She never came back!
My Hilton Garden reservation never happened. Arrived for reservation, had confirmation from my email, no room. Hotel never got a reservation request. I called HotelsOne no way to get a human answer my questions. This is a scam outfit. Hope FBI closes them down before others get scammed.
I have tried three time to cancel booking... no response to emails. International calls
I DID NOT REALIZE THE DIFFICULTY OF CANCELLING...
I thought I was booking through the Holiday Inn Express but some how I ended up booking through Hotelsone I called Holiday Inn Express l to cancel due to death in the family I was not able to take my leisure vacation. I was told by Holiday Inn that "I booked through a 3rd party so I had to go through them and they ( Holiday Inn) do not charge a cancellation fee. So I went on line to Hotelsone to cancel which was quite easy to do; by the way I had 48 hours to cancel before I was charged. I called within 36 hours of my arrival date. So the fine print read "we do not charge for a change or cancellation fee; but the hotel property requires us to charge a 1 night stay and penalties. So naturally I called the Hotel they said" Think about it you gave your money to a 3rd party. I was on hold for 30 minutes with Hotelsone but eventually hung up because I kept getting their recorded message do you know you can go in line to change or cancel your reservations. To make matters worse! My credit card WAS CHARGED THE FULL AMOUNT 606.48 ON THE VERY DAY I CANCELED 36 HOURS PRIOR TO MY ARRIVAL DATE. 2 days later I received 384.26 credit back from the 606.28 I paid for the 3night stay. I AM ENTITLED TO MY FULL DEPOSIT. WHAT A SCAM. I I AM DEFINITELY GOING TO NOTIFY THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU!
Had to cancel a reservation. Despite HotelsOne 'no cancellation fee' policy they took my $297.00 and never returned it. Confirmed with the hotel they did not intend to charge any cancellation fee, and the hotel itself never received a dime. AVOID THIS COMPANY, AND USE A MORE REPUTABLE FIRM TO BOOK YOUR HOTEL!
This site never respond at the query, they charges the Hotel and the hotel charges them!
Meanwhile I lost €984 for rooms I never asked for! And first I did my booking through Booking.com and how they got to Hotelsone... Mistery way indeed... I am very furious and am not an associate of Rothschild to let over so much money!
Thought I was booking thru Marriott hotels only to find out that for whatever reason it went to hotelsone.com which is actually travres.com which is located in central America! Yeah, got an confirmation via email but credit card charged up front... went to the hotel, checked in and in less than 6 hours beginning at 3am got 4 different phone calls from front desk that credit card had been stolen or compromised and person on phone was requesting for that information.,. Let the red flag warning begin... the individuals could not even speak English... so beware when booking thru the internet... call the hotel directly... still investigating this company...
Stay away--here's the deal, and it's complicated so you get the short version. I made a reservation for a hotel, for 2 nights, the day before I was supposed to arrive, in a situation where I thought there was a good chance I would cancel. The hotel is overseas, so there is a time difference between there and the U. S,. So of course, I do what a rational person does: get a refundable reservation. So I click on that price which clearly says "refundable", fill in the blanks, and get my reservation. It's something like 9:30 in the morning where I am, and I can see that the cancellatio policy says "must receive cancellation prior to 4 PM Istanbul time/+2 GMT". Literally, something like 5 minutes later, I cancel the reservation. I get the cancellation message almost immediately, but don't read it closely.
So today I look at my bank statement and realize that they didn't refund all my money--they kept one night's cost. So I call them up to find out why. Turns out, because of the time difference between the U.S. and where the hotel is, when I made the reservation, it was already past 4 PM where the hotel was; i. E., it was never a cancellable reservation--as soon as I clicked the button to book what the site says was a refundable price, it was already past the deadline to get a refund.
Of course, when I called hotels.com to fight it, the refunds people kept saying, "well, you saw the refund policy twice before you reserved the room". Well, yes, but, I also saw the words "free cancellation", which wasn't true: as I said, at 925 A.M. when I made the reservation, it was already past 4 P.M. where the hotel was. And by the way, although I do travel overseas quite a bit, I have not memorized the time difference between my location and every other place in the world--get real hotels.com. No matter what the time difference, I expect that when I make a reservation at 0925, and cancel it at 0935, I will not be dinged for a night's stay.
Anyway, point being, once they have your money, don't expect common sense with these folks.
So when I called up the hotels.com number to plead my case, of course, they say that
Stayed@ the Lexington Inn & Suites in Effingham, IL in August 2014. Good location, room was a little tight for 3 people. Good storage, a small refrigerator would have been nice. The tub/shower was extremely slippery-easily solved w/a bathmat-had to purchase that myself. The breakfast was good, had all the basics.
