I had to cancel flights due to COVID and have waited for almost 3 MONTHS to hear anything about a refund and NOTHING! There are NO contact numbers on the app or website to actually talk to a REAL person. I woulod NEVER recommend this app to anyone especially if you need to cancel. I will also add I bought the cancel anytime insurance they offer for all 3 tickets at the time of purchase and still NOTHING. I am SUPER frusterated!

I ran across hopper and thought I would give it a try. They were offering lower prices than the other third-party companies and they had bunny bucks. I booked a trip to Texas flying, rental car and I tried to do a hotel but prior to getting the hotel I was double charged for everything. I guess about after 10 days it does come off of your account and you get the credit back but just expect to be double charged for everything. Before I booked my hotel and realized what was going on I decided to go another route with the hotel as I already felt As if things were kind of shady. Meaning I didn't feel they were reputable enough. A couple days ago I received an email from Hopper and American Airlines stating that I put in a request for a canceled flight. In which I did not. So hopper has canceled my flight without my permission. I ended up calling American Airlines to reactivate my booking, two days later I received another email from Hopper stating be patient we are working on your canceled flight. I again sent them an additional email stating that I did not cancel my flight and needed a contact number so I can verbally talk to customer service. So at this moment, I'm not sure if I'm gonna get on that flight or not because they keep canceling it without my permission. Again this is a strong warning, go with a different third-party traveling. They're just not reputable enough. Also, I highly caution anyone to work with an app or a third-party that has zero customer service to contact.

I submitted a refund or even credit request back in March and I still have not heard anything. You can't reach customer service at all! I will never use them again and I will not recommend them to anyone!

I booked a flight with Hopper and COVID hit. I have had to cancel the trip for safety and I have been requesting a refund for over 2 months due, with absolutely no response! There is no number to call, so I have followed the instructions on their app, but I have had no one reach out in TWO MONTHS of contacting them. My flight is next week and the status is still confirmed. Do NOT book with Hopper if there is any chance you may need to change your flight for any reason... It is an automated system and any help you may need will not be given.

Myself and 6 family members and friends were booked into a Vancouver hotel through Hopper. Our cruise was cancelled due to COVID virus. We have tried numerous phone calls and email messages to discuss options with Hopper. I also reached out to Price Line and although Hopper is an affiliate; Priceline refused to provide assistance or even a number for us to talk directly with someone at Hopper. Hopper cancelled our hotel reservations. I called the hotel and spoke with a manager who confirmed that Hopper had cancelled our reservations. The manager advised there was nothing he could do and also refused to provide any contact information for Hopper. We completed the paperwork on the Hopper Web site. To date we have received only an email message indicating our rooms are non refundable.
We weren't asking for a refund; given the opportunity since we re booked our cruise in 2021; we were requesting to simply change our hotel dates. Hopper made $800.00 + dollars on us and took advantage fully of our misfortune. Hotel denied they were ever paid by Hopper. Shame on You!

I bought ticket for Iceland on March but it's have not give me back refund after requesting it. It has been 90 days and still no response. There isn't a reliable way to contact customer support either.

I used the hooper app to book a hotel stay long story short they told me that they weren't able to book my request at the time but still took the money off of my card. I been trying to talk to customer service through the app I also tried other ways to contact them. I never received a email or anything from them. I will never use this app again. Trying to get to customer service with them is a joke. I believe if u have a business a customer should always be able to TALK to person not just through and app or email

Have been able to utilize Hopper many times in the past. It started as a reliable service that allowed you freedom to monitor rates. Due to growth or lack of care, the customer service is unattainable as you you can never get a hold of anyone. Had this just been Corona related I may just have let it pass but it has been the last multiple trips. My last flight was international and unable to fly due to travel restrictions but you can never contact someone via email. There is no contact phone number either.

I booked a flight on this website and later had to change my dates. I Purchased the cancel for any reason coverage that was offered by hopper. The only way I could contact anyone was through the customer service portal on the app. It took several days for anyone to respond. I was told that that person couldn't help me and they would have to send me to someone else. No one ever contacted me so I had no other option but to cancel my ticket. It has now been a week and I got an email from hopper telling me I should be patient because it could take up to 90 days to resolve my cancellation. My understanding was for any reason I could cancel my ticket with the additional coverage I Purchased. Now I read that I will either get airline credits or I will get 60% of my ticket refunded in cash if the airlines approve the cancellation. My confusion is I purchased the coverage to Cancel for any reason and now it sounds like they are trying to keep my money.

It is incredible how a big company like this has failed to resolve my situation. I bought a ticket to go to Scotland in May, I asked for reimbursement well in advance, since my country closed borders since April. It's my first time that I bought a ticket through you and it would be the last time. I am losing $750 because you cannot coordinate with British Airlines. I would not recommend your app here in Costa Rica, you were totally unable to help your costumer. Terrible Service Definitely.

These thieves will only return your money via PayPal and say they have no other means to return money for a cancellation! This is BS! Stay far away from these thieves... they're quick to take your money but will make it impossible to get your refund unless you wish to be robbed by PayPal as well! UNACCEPTABLE! STAY FAR AWAY YOUVE BEEN WARNED!

I had a trip planned to Vancouver, Canada for Jun. 9,2020 which was obviously cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There is no number to call and no email to message to. I am 4 days from my supposed travel date and still trying to figure out how to settle this flight issue because the airline we were traveling with is also unwilling to help us since we went through a third party agency. I will never use or recommend Hopper to anyone again. My mom who had also booked a plane ticket to another state for a graduation (which was also obviously cancelled) also lost her money. Completely unacceptable during these trying and difficult times. DO NOT BOOK WITH HOPPER.

Understanding this is a very tough time, circumstances are trying. However, my flight got changed and no one notified us. Not only did the flight change it never ended up taking us home! You absolutely can not get ahold of of anyone. No phone number, no e mail. A chat that does everything in it's power to not have an employee talk to you. So now I had to pay over 600 dollars extra for a same day flight. My daughter who just graduated high school, which is why we had to travel, had to miss work. Now we will have to pay for an uber to make it to our car. The site said they will not refund us all of our money. If I didn't have a schedule full of people whom I have to see and take care of during this pandemic I would have been able to wait for a different flight, but people are counting on me to be there. Do NOT book with Hopper.

SCAMMERS! Hopper, Inc. secured $70 million dollars to remain afloat due to COVID19 but yet they are not refunding airline fares to customers that had cancelled flights. We spent our hard earned money and trusted this company with our plans. The airlines have already sent our money back to Hopper, Inc. so why hold on to our money? And to top it off there is no customer service to communicate with on Or for this app. This is NOT a legitimate business! My rating is actually 0!

DISHONEST THIEVES! TOTAL SCAM! I am a teacher who has limited funds, but loves to travel. I have been using hopper for a few years now and always recommended it to my fellow travelers for finding cheap flights. I had never needed to contact them before this pandemic. I have had two of my trips cancelled by the airlines. Both times I was told by the airline that my refund was given to hopper because I booked with them. I have repeatedly tried to contact hopper. There is no phone number, no customer support email contact. Just a make believe robo chat, and ZERO actual customer support. After 2 days of searching for how to apply for a refund I finally found a form that I was able to fill out and submit... I still have not heard back. For the next cancelled flight, I received an email from hopper telling me my flight was cancelled by the airline with the directive: "If you have questions about an airline schedule change, feel free to contact our support team for assistance by tapping "Other requests" directly from your trip in the app!" Funny, because when you click on this "other requests" button (which is the only button available to press) it takes you to meaningless articles that put you around and around in a loop of nonsense. The cancellation request form that I filled out for the previous cancelled flight is now nowhere to be found on their app or website. Unfortunately I have a third flight coming up that will most likely be cancelled as well. I will NEVER use this app again. I will be posting this review on every single travel forum I can find and will be taking legal action. Hopper: If you would like to fix this issue, which I sincerely hope that you do, please contact me. I understand that you are overwhelmed, but It doesn't seem like you actually want to help, just steal hard working peoples money. I TRULY thought you were a great company. You should be ashamed!

We booked a flight to Madrid back in 08/19. Our flight was cancelled by the airline in 5/11/20. The airline said they will not refund us, we need to process the refund request through Hopper. Ok! I'm usually good following instructions, so I went tho the Hopper app and found that out flight was moved to the "Past Trips" section. I left a message asking if I needed to do anything else in order to get my money refunded, but after 15 days... no answer. When I read their cancellation policy it talks about a cancellation request and a cancellation form. None of those can be found on the app. Since my flight was automatically moved to the past trip section, there is not an option to cancel the flight from there. Is very stressful to deal with a company that doesn't respond to their customers... Feels like they are trying to keep my money. Very frustrating
