In the past I have been very satisfied with hopper but on my last trip I ran into a problem.
I was out of the country and had received a message from hopper that my itinerary had changed. I clicked on the link and everything was still the same. Once I was at the airport I was not able to check in and was told that my flight was canceled. Even this is understandable with the COVID crisis but the problem was that the airline was not able to change me to another flight since my booking was through hopper. Here I was at the airport in another country and the only way to contact hopper was by leaving a request that would be answered in about three days! I had to purchase a new ticket in order to get home. I'm still trying to figure out how to contact customer service to resolve this.
So from now on I will book directly through the airline.

So disappointed

I will not use Hopper again.
I bought the insurance for a refund for any reason on a flight to Arizona.
When covid came and things shut down I cancelled the flight.
I was assured (by email) that if I waited the matter would be resolved.
Today I received an email saying I have a credit to use, not the refund that the insurance guaranteed.
There is no way to call or even email hopper.
Very bad customer service. Do not use this app.

Usually I don't write any feedback about anything. But for this I find my self forced to avertise other. Customer service is very bad. The compaby airline changed the date of the trip they didn't notified me and when I send them a message to habe more information and to change the flights a robot answer me and told me that a technicien will called me. It was been more than one month and no one called me untill now. Now I an forced to cancel my trip and I don't know if I will have my money back.

No refunds

My flights were cancelled due to Covid in April, I gave yet to receive a refund. My friend who booked thru the airline directly got his refund in 2 weeks. Mine is >$2,000! Horrible customer service, no email or phone number, can only contact they the app! Don't use them!

Hopper still has yet to respond or contact me. I'm by law due a refund because the airline cancelled my flight. I've spoken to the airline directly several times. They agree that a full refund is due. Hopper is holding money illegally. It's unacceptable and infuriating

Prior to the covid-19 pandemic in early January I purchased tickets via hopper for my family of four to travel to Berlin outbound from LA to Berlin for June 2020- returning July 2020. In April I was notified the flight was rerouted to London. This is the only communication I received from hopper. While the flight reads as confirmed' on the hopper app, I decided to contact Air New Zealand directly to check on the status. The airline informed me that they have stopped that flight route from Los Angeles to Europe for the foreseeable future. Hopper never informed me of this change. So my flight is cancelled by the airline, for some time now even, and there has been zero communication from hopper. When I try to cancel the flight in the hopper app the button is locked and won't progress to the next phase. I have not been able to contact customer service. The only communication offered on the app is chat. I've sent multiple messages and haven't received any response. This reads like a scam. There's no email, no phone number. No way for me to fully process my cancellation because the app locks. I know that I am entitled to a refund. I hope this is resolved. Currently it feels like theft. I will update if the outcome changes.

I've made a mistake of booking International flight thru hopper and now that flights have resumed, it's been 3 months i am constantly following up with them, no response or action taken by them. They are just delaying saying airline team are not reachable.

I am super disappointed in Hopper, especially because they have SUCH great potential.
Their concept of being able to predict the best time to get a flight based on price, as well as their SUPER easy layout makes them a dream. Like the best app to use on travel.
However, their customer service is where it all goes south.
If they only had good customer service or ANY customer service for that matter (they literally have no phone number or email to contact them on, only on their app which takes decades) they would've been the best Travel App on the market.
Because of this lack of service:
-I have had flights canceled without knowing
-Waited months for refunds
-Promised a refund when I paid extra for insurance only to be told later I could only get a travel credit
The list goes on.
PLEASE for God's Sake fix your Customer Service and hire an actual call team, Hopper, because I assure you it will make a world of difference.

Fraud company

I booked two one way tickets in March. The flights were cancelled. Hopper sent my two emails stating that the refund request needed to be processed through Norwegian Airlines. I spent 8 hours in the phone when Norwegian said the refund needed to be processed through Hopper. I received two emails with no return email address. Stating that they were going to give me a small percentage back. As a apology. Two weeks ago i was told by Norwegian that i was due a full refund. Hopper sent an email that they were sorry and were working on the situation. I have asked the for the corporate address but they said they were working on it. They use typical customer service tactics. I want to file a lawsuit. But can't seem to get past the no phone number. No corporate address. No email address. I'm out $960 not a lot but i want it back. They are a fraud comoany

Customer service

Hopper is IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of. They did not send me a text/email about my new and updated flight that was arriving two hours BEFORE it was originally planned to. I had to pay $200 just to get a new flight, but the airline could not help me due to it being booked through a third party. Hopper does not have any customer support to talk to immediately in these type of situations. Do not use Hopper, go through the airline itself.

I booked three tickets to Barcelona from the United States. I was extremely pleased with the price of the flights. But, the flight was cancelled by the airline due to COVID-19. I received an email from the airline stating they have authorized the travel agent (Hopper) to issue a full refund. I can't reach Hopper via chat, email, phone... you can't contact them in any way, shape or form. Doesn't exist. How is this possible? I chatted with the "bot" several times but NO RESPONSE. None. No flight, no refund, no communication. Because of this, I will never book from Hopper again. I would rather pay a little more for the flight and be able to get help when I need it. Now, I'm out $1,600. Absolutely horrible company to do business with!

Dear all
I bought a flight ticket 20 weeks ago which is 5 months, I cancel my tickets as recommended my Hopper app 5 days prior the departure because of the travel restrictions due to Covid19, I have received around 3 or 4 emails from Hopper apologizing because of the delay and stating the will take 90 days to even receipt a voucher of Money and its being almost 4 months since my cancelation and I cannot even get into the app site to get in touch to them because every time I try to join its says server problem, so how we can communicate with them if the app its not working and when you go to their site it send you to the app. This is the last time I used this app to buy any kind of service they provide, I really don't know how such a poor service can be graded like the 2nd best app with this terrible service. My Reservation code is KEMOTM

Hopper steals from consumers! A $76 "price freeze" fee just magical appears on my account they are failing to respond or refund. NEVER use them. I am filing fraud with my credit card company!

I had to cancel a flight for 2 during covid 19. Absolutely no communication, almost impossible to contact and no refund ever appeared. Book directly with airlines, this lot are thieves!

Stealing Money

I purchased 4 tickets and cancelation insurance. I had to cancel my trip because of COVID. I called the insurance company and was told that since I canceled my trip within 10 days of booking I would get a full refund, and they bounced it back to Hopper. I have not been able to get a single response from Hopper nor am I able to contact a live person. They have zero customer service! I will never use them again!

There is literally no way to contact an actual human, only bots. My flight was cancelled by the airline and the airline said they would be refunding hopper who would then refund me. The app never registered the cancellation and I can't get a hold of anyone to make sure the refund is actually being processed so now they just have my money, the flight never happened, and norwegian says they can't help as they did their part. Will be reporting them to the better business bureau.

Absolutely no way to contact customer service. Even for people who purchased Fully Refundable Tickets, no refunds are being given, no contact made with customers, no way to call company.
Sounds like an invitation for a class action lawsuit. Stay away from this dishonest company.

I BOUGHT A ONE TICKET THROUGH HOPPER. IT HAPPENED TO BE DURING THE COVID19 PANDEMIC. THEY CANCELED MY FLIGHT AND AFTER I HAVE DONE NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS TO CHANGE MY FLIGHT OR GET A REFUND BUT I AM NOT ABLE TO DO THRU THE APP. THERE IS NOBODY YOU CAN GET IN CONTACT WITH. NOT COSTUMER SERVICE WHATSOEVER. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED AT HOPPER. FIRST AND LAST TIME I USED IT
