Scammers.

They literally false advertise and don't follow through with anything they offer. Stick to Priceline. I've given Hopper chance after chance and they try to rip me off every opportunity they possibly get. It's gross.

The flight we booked didn't even "exist" according to delta airline, nor did our flight home. The flight we were supposed to take left 2 and a half hours before hoppers time and we were NOT notified. We missed our flights and were unable to get another flight so we lost a lot of money. There is absolutely no way to talk to a representative other than through text and they will not respond even to emergency situations. It's been several hours and no response so we aren't able to make our very important trip. So let down and disappointed considering how much money we lost.

Absolute SCAM

Do NOT book through these people. They took my money, my flight was cancelled without my knowledge and then they have not given me a refund and there is NO ONE you can contact to give you a straight answer. They owe me almost $500 and will not even answer me.

My young daughter went to the airport to board her flight. The flight had been cancelled over 24 hours prior. The airline let Hopper know, but Hopper has never contacted my daughter prior or afterwards that the flight was cancelled. She was left stranded at the airport. The airline could not help her, Hopper could not be contacted either by phone, the only phone number is not a real phone number, or by email. It has been more than a week and no contact from Hopper and no refund. We had to scramble and book a flight with a different airline on last minute notice, costing quite a bit more. PLEASE DO NOT USE HOPPER! DO NOT USE! BEWARE******

False advertising

I had to cancel my ticket due to COVID, and their site started that it could take up to 90 days to get refunded... It's been over 5 months and I still haven't received my refund. I owe that money to my credit card and I keep paying interest on it. They don't even reply to my messages and it's the only way to get in touch with them. I will never use this app again.

Game playing

This company is not trustworthy and plays games with you on there app.
I did freeze some dates with a fee, on basic economy but booked a flight within their 7 day rule. In order to get my deposit back.
When I booked my flight I selected to upgrade to economy and the price went up. After completing my booking and paid for flight, I then realised I was booked back on basic economy! I then tried to upgrade again and was told that I booked a cheaper ticket and was not allowed to upgrade my ticket. None of this information was made clear to me anywhere through this online process with Hooper. I was told to go directly to airline who was British Airways they said it has nothing to do with them I need to go to my agent. When booking online they ask you if you would like to select the option for a refundable ticket but when you book in with the airline it tells you your ticket is non-refundable according to hooper. I did not book with BA I booked with you Hooper stop playing games. On my booking it said I was allowed I piece of luggage free and 2nd would cost £100.
To my surprise when I got to the airport and checked in I was told that the ticket I have only allows me 1hand luggage and no suitcases.
So my journey to leave and return will cost me a total of £340.00
As there is 2 of us. There is no such things as customer service for this company to query or clarify nothing! So my whole journey cost me an extra £340.00 so if I was not able to pay this money I would of not been able to travel and the ticket was non-refundable after they get your money.
People who are giving this company good rating are there to lie for this company.
Your statement at the bottom, means nothing.
I would never use this company again or recommend them to no one!
Very poor service and what you are doing to customers is totally unacceptable!

Will never use them again

Airline canceled flights in MARCH 2020 due to COVID-19. If I booked with airline directly I would have gotten a credit or refund with them. Hopper has been in touch twice to tell me to be patient and refunds will be given but will take up to 90 days. It is September 12th, 2020. I messaged them a week ago and they have not even seen/read my message. I will never see the money or get the credit I would have booking directly with the airline. Don't waste your money on this company.

Flights cancelled in March. No refund. No contact centre. No way of contacting. No customer service at all, only a service that allows you to send messages via the app that shows messages not read. Generic emails received from a bot. They shouldn't be allowed to trade.

Our flights were cancelled on May 6,2020. As of September 8th and 20 emails, we have never received a refund. NEVER use Hopper. Impossible to get refund.
Much easier when booking directly with airline

My original flight booked through hopper was cancelled and the company failed to notify me of this huge change. The app continued to show the old flight number as active even though it had actually been cancelled... after jerking me around for a couple months they refuse to take responsibility for messing up the booking and will give me no refund. Thats $1000 gone folks. Do yourselves a favor and do not use this service.

I had booked a flight from Tel Aviv to Raleigh-Durham using Hopper in early 2020, which was later cancelled by the airline (TAP) due to Covid-19. TAP informed me that my refund should be issued by Hopper. Hopper outlines a process for requesting a refund on the app, but this process is not available under my cancelled itinerary. I've been trying for three months to get in contact with Hopper through their instant message (there is no phone line or customer service) and only receive automatic replies, if anything. I'm beginning to believe this company has no intention of issuing a refund for my cancelled flight.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!

The price might be better sometimes but the service is horrible. I booked a hotel in March in New orleans and they were forced to close the week we were going. I contacted hotel and they stated they did not collect the Money get with Hopper. Hopper has told me so many lies and each time it is a new one so now after 30 weeks they are stating the Hotel will not refund another lie. I just contacted hotel again and they said no that is on Hopper and 3rd party. It has been since March 10th and this week they are now saying no well it is so I cant reject the charge I know that is why. Well is $400 worth you losing business and getting horrible reviews. Spend extra money do not use these people

Very disappointed

I just recently used Hopper for the first time and I have to say, I'm extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service. I've been trying to get in touch with someone for about 2 weeks now I'm regards to changing my flight. Hopper told me to reach out to United and United told me to reach out to Hopper. At this point, I would really love for someone to contact me. My entire itinerary was changed and I'm super frustrated. I would think twice before booking with them.

The customer service is nonexistent. It is only through a messenger system that you never actually get a non-staged response back. My flight was cancelled in early April and I haven't heard anything from them. I filled out all necessary forms and was very patient. I got confirmation of the forms I filled out and an email saying they had 90 days to resolve it. It has now been 150 days with no response. I have attempted through their messenger system to reach out numerous times with no resolve. The cost of the total flights purchased was around $2000. This is unacceptable. I have had to contact my credit card company to help dispute this, which they too are having issues getting contact. I am a avid traveler and would caution anyone to book through Hopper. I would NEVER use Hopper and wouldn't recommend anyone to use it.

Hopper is a good app to look at flights. However DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THEM. They have NO customer service at all. If you pay for their "cancel for any reason" insurance they don't give your money back. They just give you flight credit and you cannot get a hold of them. You can't call them, there is no email. The only way to get any kind of help is to message their chat in the app and hope to God you get a response. WORST customer service I have EVER had.

First of all I know it's a pandemic, but stop using that as a excuse! No phone number to call they won't call you. All they have is a poor excuse of "live chat "which needs to be live not well answer when we want to. I still have questions that haven't been seen! All I want is my refund you've had my payment since March! Holy cow people you can't be that busy. If it was just 1or2 tickets I wouldn't worry, but it's 6. I'm giving no stars, but I have to give 1. You guys need to have customer service.

My flight was canceled by state department the day before departure. I cannot get any answer from hopper, no phone number, just a bot chat that it appears no one ever looks at. I plan on contacting the state attorney General to file complaint as well as local media ti warn others of their tactics. I am a disabled veteran and they basically are stealing 2600 dollars from me.

Scam scam scam if you need to waste your money you can get this app it is theft. I pay 45$ to freeze a ticket for one week after 5 days i try to pay for the ticket but the app said something wrong I try for 2 days but I can't pay it and after that the week is over and my money is gone for nothing and they don't have a phone number. This is big scamming app.

My husband and I were supposed to travel overseas for a wedding. We bought the tickets long before we found out we were expecting. We purchased EXTRA travel insurance, just due to the fact that we purchased the tickets so far in advance. Later on we found out we were pregnant. My OB wrote a letter explaining why I can not fly during the 3rd trimester. We are still trying to get out $1,400 back! Not only is it discriminating, but it's funny how there are so many other similar reviews... that sounds like a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT
