The app is great but One major issue I have with this app is that there is no customer service phone number to talk to a live person, it was so inconvenient to try and find where to go just to ask a question, and then you have to wait 24-48hrs for a response. Also it doesn't say how they are going to respond. Am I going to get an email, a call, a text? How am I supposed to get notified that you guys responded? You guys need to have a customer service number!

Worst company, that rips people off
Do not use this app. I paid for i insurance on my airline tickets. COVID happened and they will not respond for a refund. I tried to cancel thru Jetblue and was unable because I bought on Hopper. I've been reaching out since May. There is no customer service number and they don't answer your messages. Absolutely stay away from this company.

A nightmare

Spent over $3500 on multiple flights that were all canceled by the airline. So far in 7 months, I have yet to see a single dime back in refunds or credit. Worst company ever

Nope... delete

Made me miss a flight due to poor communication from hopper. Had to buy a 300$ ticket to replace it. When i let them know about this, they completely defended themselves and told me they emailed me about it... no email... and absolutely nothing to make this situation better not even any extra points. Safe to say i will never download this again, and will warn everyone to never use this.

Since all the airports where close in April, I had a trip and obviously they where supposed to refund my money! And surprise no ones answer me, besides a robot keep sending the same information over and over. It's been 7 months and never heard of them back and file a complaint through BBB

My flight was cancelled by virgin Atlantic back in June. Costing a few thousand pounds. Still no sign of a refund from hopper. I have waited for ages on several occasions on their chat facility but noone picks up. I am over 60 and terrible with this kind of thing but am so upset that I can't speak to someone and am frightened that I have lost my money. I feel ripped off and desperately need help.

Don't use

No customer service. No one gets back to you. I need to change a flight and you think you're changing it but you have to wait for a response to confirm and no one gets back to you. Worst app ever.

I made sure to book 2 one-way flights to and from my Destiination. I also made sure to choose ones that gave me seat selection. Upon confirmation and payment of my flight, hopper never prompted me to actually choose my seats. Now, when I am at days away from my trip, I checked into my flight and there are no window seats or two seats next to each other (for me and my partner to sit together). I am furious! All in all, I do like hopper. It is very user-friendly and often has the best or comparable deals to other airline search websites. I think this is a major design flaw, and that hopper should at least put a statement in the check out saying "be sure to login with your record locators to your separate flights for seat selection"

Worst experience ever

I'm sharing this experience everywhere because the potential customers should be warned.
Worst experience ever! I have booked and paid a flight on December 27th 2019. The flights were cancelled by SAS due to Covid and, having booked with Hopper, I did not have the chance to get the refund from the company nor change the dates of the flights. When I tried to manage the bookings with Hopper a message saying that the cancelation request was pending appeared, but I never asked for any cancelation! The same message is still there, even though they claim up to 15 days to process the request! I cannot contact anyone, there is no mail, no telephones, they do not answer to the messages on the app. The flights I booked where on 14th and 26th August, and I am still waiting for a 600€ refund!

AVOID THIS APP! This place is such a scam! Any business that doesn't offer a customer service phone number is shady. I tried booking a hotel room and when I did my payment, it said it did not go thru and to try again later. However within seconds of paying, they charged my credit card. There's no phone number to call. In the app itself there is no way to reach anyone. Save yourself the aggravation and go with a big company you know and trust like Expedia or Booking.com. You wind up spending time on the phone disputing your cc and getting aggravated and it's not worth it.

Worst App Ever

I booked a hotel with Hopper for Canada in June. Once they restricted travel from the US I cancelled and have never received a refund. There is no way I can find to contact them after you cancel. I called the hotel and they said they aren't denying any refunds but it has to come from Hopper. I am out $857 and have disputed the charge with my credit card company and filed a complaint with the BBB. Don't EVER book with this app. Use only to see where prices are. Never again!

I bought a trip to Bali for September back before the pandemic, in early January. I also bought optional insurance package so I could get a full refund for any reason if i needed to cancel. Pandemic hit, and i cancelled in March. I have sent them multiple messages thru the app since they have no number to call, and i have not received any of my money or a response back. I spent over $2500, and they literally will not give me my money back. Do not buy flights from this app for the love of god.

They changed my flights from direct to having stops going both ways. (It's a short flight). I am now trying to deal with customer service since the flights they changed me to do not work for me. I cannot get ahold of anyone but a robot. American Airlines stated that it is hoppers responsibility to deal with this. Hopper says to contact American Airlines. The company is a scam.

If you purchase a "price freeze" from Hooper be careful. The said you can use it to book other flights within 14 days if you decide not to flight to destination you freeze price for. Once you try to choose another destination they NEVER show you an option to use that deposit instead charge you for every feautute you choose and never offer to credit any with the freeze deposit you haven't use.
They are just good to purchase ticket on the spot. Thur Price Freeze is an SCAM! They stole $95 from me! Never give me a chance to transfer like they said to a new purchase within 14 days in a different flight.

HORRIBLE HOPPER

I have been trying to contact the HOPPER about a refund to no avail. I continue to wait for my refund or travel credit. The customer service is nonexistent as you are not able to contact ANYONE! IM3 PISSED! NO ONE HAS $ TO GIVE AWAY ESPECIALLY NOW!

128 days and no refund

Worst customer service- can't get anybody to be bothered to contact me about the status of my refund! Their "help" center is a joke and I am incredibly frustrated! Honestly, I am a very understanding person and I don't leave bad reviews but I patiently waited the 90 days as requested due to COVID reasons. At the very least someone could email me or call me or something! Not just leave me hanging! I will never use hopper again and I recommend no else does either!

I never write negative reviews but this one is warranted. I purchased a ticket to Spain, and of course the trip was canceled due to Covid. On Hoppers information hub they repeatedly assured me that since I canceled my flight prior to the departure date, that I would receive a refund. It has been 6 months and after many attempts to reach out still no word. They do not have a human customer service that you are able to call. Only automated robot replies. I called the carrier repeatedly who could not offer me a refund directly because I booked with Hopper. I dont believe that there are people that care about anything there, or that are willing to assist you in any way, especially after pleas of financial hardship. They have been holding on to my money for half a year. I would NEVER recommend using this middleman service.

Hopper has great deals sometimes and the watch feature is amazing for future planning trips. Overall they are great but it seems to be super hard to get into contact with someone when you have questions or issues.

Hopper is Trash

If I could give Hopper zero stars, I would. Please never, ever use Hopper to purchase flights. If you want to use the app to search for flight deals that's one thing but NO. NOT. PURCHASE. My round trip flight was to Italy in April 2020 was cancelled because of COVID and they are refusing to refund me. They have absolutely no customer service. You submit a ticket with their AI bot which takes months to receive any kind of response. Beyond disgusted and disappointed. Will never purchase from them ever again. They should be shut down for the number of people they've screwed over in the last six months. Poor excuse of a company.

I needed to change my flight, I tried to do it a week before, the app wouldn't work for me the whole week. I messaged them 3 days before to get them to help me with changing it. They didn't message me back for two days. They message me the morning of my flight saying I can change it I told them the date and confirmed it. They never changed it. I want a refund, because they are absolute trash and I shouldn't be out $114 because they can't get their $#*! together
