Do not use. They do not back their services and are dishonest. We booked a 4* hotel but ended up being filthy, food in the fridge, light fixtures stolen, and stunk. We were promised a refund but then no support once we sent receipts and proof like they asked.
I bought flights for Europe for my family of 5 with Hopper for July 2020, when travel was canceled due to Covid-19. My flight was canceled so I contacted the airline we were traveling with, British Airways, and they were giving out refunds, but since we booked through Hopper they told me Hopper would be the one issuing the refund. I have contacted Hopper multiple times since then, through their App, and each time all I receive is an automated response saying they will contact me within 24 hours and I've never heard from them. So, no other communication, no phone number to call, so basically they kept the $5,000 we paid for the tickets, and that's just wrong! This has been extremely frustrating! We also bought AON travel insurance through Hopper and they have denied my claim twice now, when it said we could "cancel for any reason". I don't know what else to do to get my money back! It's been 8 months now that I have been waiting to talk to somebody. Zero customer service. I feel robbed! My advise is, NEVER ever use Hopper.

Booked a flight through hopper in DEC 2019 for a flight in APR 2020. Needless to say the trip got canceled due to covid. It was a trip booked with 13 other people. Everyone who booked through the airline got a refund. Everyone who booked through hopper did not and have only been told "your ticket value is safe". Tried to redeem that value for future flights and the airline tells me hopper has the value, hopper tells me the airline has the value. Horrible experience there is no benefit to book through them, actually it's worse because there's no efficient way to communicate with hopper. Just book through the airline I know I will never book through a third party again.

I was introduced to Hopper by mother who lives abroad. The app was giving her some issues with the price freeze option, so I tried it on my end and it worked. We used the price freeze option when purchasing a flight from GDL to DTW. When I went back to purchase the ticket a day before my price freeze was to expire, I got an error message which I thought was due to the type of card I was using. However, after three different cards I kept getting the same error message shown below. I followed the link on the error message to communicate this issue with a customer care representative, but after leaving a message (there is absolutely no way to contact someone over the phone) I have not received a response. I checked my bank accounts and see that there are pending charges on all three cards for the same flight. I went to United Airlines website to purchase the ticket and it was only $30 more than what Hopper was offering originally. The good think here is that since my booking was never confirmed, I do not have to try and get a refund from Hopper, I will report it to my credit card company as fraud. I could only imagine how difficult/impossible it would be to try and get a refund or cancel my flight with this organization.
I read all of the reviews and I'm so pissed that so many people had the same problem... You will have NO Response and absolutely NO REFUND in case you have an emergency and can't attend to the hotel or get the flight you bought. Money is no toy, and even less in these times of Covid where you try to save the more money you can. Well, they don't care in the least.
They say that you can get help in the app, and that's totally a lie. They don't want you to get to them. The lower prices are not worth it. I prefer to pay $5-$10 more to a secured agency for my trip, that I know they will care about me and my money, than losing all my money in case I change my decision of hotel, have an emergency, reduce the stay of my trip, or something that you may want to change.
Really, I'm so disappointed of me too because I lost much money and all I had to do was read the reviews about this agency app.

Debido a pandemia no pudimos viajar en abril los pasajes los compramos para mejico DF por Aeroméxico usando hooper y ahora que ya casi va hacer un año y necesitamos usar el crédito no hay con quien hablar Aeroméxico dice que no tiene nada que ver que necesitamos hacerlo todo por esa página hooper y no nos hemos podido contactar con ellos no hay como parece que los 759 que gastamos se nos van a perder

Do not go through Hopper for ur flights. I had a flight with them that was not accurate and could not get ahold of anyone. They have no telephone to call for assistance. When you email them it takes 24 hours or more for a reply. I still haven't got a reply after five days. I could not check in on my flight from hopper so I had to purchase a new one from delta the day before I left. My advice: only go through the airlines for ur flights.

Did a price freeze for my flight... got ready to use it my deposit was not applied at checkout... used the buy now pay later they took the money didn't book the flight. Freeze window expired no flight and no customer service! NEVER AGAIN!

I booked a round trip through this app and needed to change the outgoing flight. I sent in a request through the app which told me an agent would get back to me within 24 hours. It has been 11 days. There's no phone number to call or anything. And the airline won't let me change because I booked through the app. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH HOPPER!

Back in June 2020, I had my flight canceled due to Covid-19. I submitted my request to be refunded because the cancellation was due to covid. Initially, I received correspondence that they were working with the airline to resolve the issue. I received 2 emails saying the same thing and saying it could take up to 90 days. It is now 8 months later and I have heard NOTHING from them again. I've sent a another 2 customer service requests... nothing. I even reported them to the BBB and they said Hopper never replied to their case. So looks like I will not get any resolution. I paid $550+ for this ticket purchase through the hopper app. I will never use them again and I would seriously discourage anyone else to use that site. If you have a problem you not be able to contact anyone to get help.

Get a message saying itinerary change, try to speak with customer service to find new flight and no respond. I'm very upset! My flights in four days and I have reservations and plans go on my arrival time. I know things happen but with this new change cause of more the. Likely over booking all I want is to see my options before my flight cancels or I'll be without and out the money for my flight. All I want is customer service to get a hold of me and figure this out before it's to late! Respect. Clearly they don't have this!

I purchased two tickets with insurance and after a schedule change that did not work for me I requested a refund. I found out that I was only getting 80% returned. I emailed them twice and they didn't bother to reply! I repurchased from Orbitz.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING THROUGH HOPPER! My trip was cancelled due to Covid in June and there is no customer service number and no answer to any of my emails! SCAMMERS!

Avoid them at all costs! I am still owed a refund from May 2020 when my flight was cancelled due to Covid-19. I have contacted the BBB and Hopper has ignored them as well. I will never book with them again.

I booked flight tickets through Hopper.com in January 2020. The flight was one-way from Barcelona to Toronto for August 2020. This flight was chosen mainly because it was a direct fight provided by Westjet (a company I trust). For months before the trip, I was only given a Westjet booking # and a Hopper #. During the Covid-19 months, lot of flights were cancelled and we were allowed to request a full refund in the form of a flight credit/voucher. I requested for that in the summer 2020 but didn't hear anything from Hopper for months and I emailed them again in Nov 2020 about the status. I didn't get any response. There is no phone number that I can contact them with. I decided to give Westjet a call to see if they can help. I found out that the ticket #'s did not belong to Westjet (as theirs begin with 838); instead they belong to a company called Hahn Air (theirs begin with 169). I started doing some research on Hopper and I found out it is very common for Hopper to issue tickets for itineraries that cannot be ticketed on airline stock. I contacted IATA to complain about Hopper and they refused to provide me with any information or help. I went onto the Hahn Air website and tried to request a refund through their online form, but I didn't have Hopper's IATA code and they didn't recognize the ticket numbers, so that was useless. It was definitely a fraudulent misuse of the E-ticket system and the responsibility is known by Hopper. I complained to BBB and Hopper just simply refused to respond and the file was closed after several months. Of course, I never got my money back.

So I paid the fee for free cancellation of my flights leaving this Saturday, due to covid everything has been cancelled so I have been trying to cancel my flights since November and get no help! I would like my money back!

My son booked a trip to Hawaii last year that the airline canceled and Hopper has never credited since June of 2020! This app is a scam!

I had to cancel my flight last September due to Covid 19. Hopper sent me an email saying to contact them when I am ready to book. I have been ready to rebook for the last month. I have tried contacting them through their support link online. Their auto response says they will get back to me in 24 hours or a bit later. I have not heard anything. I have tried calling them, but there is no way to find a number that connects to anyone. VERY upsetting and frustrating.
User's recommendation: DO NOT USE HOPPER. They owe me $640! I will go straight through the airline from now on and advise all to do the same.

Answer: File a claim with your bank. They charged me An additional 2 nights after hopper said they would refund my money. Instead they went without my consent n charged me an additional 2 nights. I was robbed for a total of 3 nights. Without being able to contact any support. A total Scam!
Answer: No they are about polar opposite of trustworthy. Run don't walk away from this company. My lesson cost $1435 dollars. If you require customer service look elsewhere they have none. Not even a phone number which is the first red flag.
