We need to change a ticket. I have put in a request 5 days ago and still have not heard from Hopper They emailed me and wanted me to rate a conversation with Connie from Hopper. I haven't had a conversation with Connie or anyone else. They say on their site they will get back with you in 24 hrs maybe a little longer But 5 days and still nothing. HOPPER IF YOUR SEEING THIS PLEASE RESPOND. We need this taken care of ASAP. The flights are continually going up and we should not be penalized for your lack of consideration!
Booke flights through them months in advance. Two weeks before my trip they somehow accidentally cancelled my flight and offered to rebook it for an extra $900... fought and fought about how that wasn't right but they didn't care. Had to file a complaint with the better business bureau to get my money back but because my trip was so close then they flight was triple the price from when I had secured it months earlier. Had purchased another flight through them (before this happened) for about a month later and THE SAME THING. They are scamming people by booking flights way in advance and then making changes and forcing people to pay more money just to keep them from cancelling their flight once the flight gets closer! SCAM ALERT. Don't fall for it!

They scammed thousands of people out of money during the pandemic by not refunding flights - because they're impossible to get ahold of. They have no customer service contact. I contacted them in April of 2020 and as of May 2021 haven't heard back from them. Do NOT use them for booking anything. I had to go to my credit card company to get refunded. This company is absolutely terrible, lying, scammers. They shouldn't be up and running.

I have experienced the most disrespactful situation in this app! Very difficult to reach the costumer support team! I canceled one way ticket of $587 value and received the travel credit. When I tried to use my credit to book a new ticket they did not allow me to book round trip. While on the website the round trip was showing the same value as my credit. I spend days chatting with the support team and finally I got authorisation from the ticket team to book round trip. When I received my ticket confirmation I did not realized that was no returning ticket. I looked in the app to check my returning and was not there. Immediately I try to look on my chat conversation and I could not find it. I have to buy cheap ticket and pay for the VIP Support to be able to chat with them. And guess what, my chat was partial deleted! If I follow the time shows the minutes breaks. They left only the part of the conversation which was saying one way ticket. I cannot prove this absurd! Unbelievable what have happened.

This app is the ultimate worse of them all! Do not book a hotel with them. I booked for the Hyde Miami midtown hotel in advance, I called the hotel a week after I booked for them to say my reservation was not in the system, I contacted hopper they stated that my reservation was locked in with the hotel it wouldn't populate until the month of. I then contacted the room again 3 weeks before my trip for them to tell me once again that my reservation is not in the system for the dates I booked for. I contacted hopper for customer service to email me saying they was going to submit my reservation over then sends an email stating the hotel can't honor my booking that I made in advance. Then the customer service took it upon themselves to relocate me 3 weeks before my trip. Which I never approved to be relocated. The group I am going with booked for the same hotel and we made plans based off our location for them to put me at a hotel I didn't want to stay at and is far from where my party was going to be. On hopper it still shows the rooms available for that same exact hotel but for a higher price which makes me more upset. So if I was booked with the higher price I'm guaranteed a room which is unfair. I asked if I can be accommodated for what I paid for since it was available however I received minimal response from customer service and instead of trying to help me get what I originally booked all she did is cancelled the room and provided my refund. I will never book with this app again and I had everyone in my party that I referred this app to delete it. I'm very disappointed!

Can I give 0 stars? Like 1 is WAY TOO MANY. I used this app back in 2017, no issues. Coming up on another flight I thought to use the same app. BAD IDEA. READ ALL REVIEWS BEFORE FREEZING! If you Google the price freeze it says once you purchase the ticket your deposit will be refunded, if you do not you do not get it back. Completely understandable but they do not give you a refund for the frozen deposit you put down even if you buy the ticket, they do not save your seats on the plane and they do not let you book at the decreased price. I froze a price expecting 2 seats to be saved and waiting for a lower price, when I went to book the decreased price the booking page kept coming up blank with no total, or the wrong total from the day before with my +50 pp flight price. I contacted customer support, they told me they had technical difficulties but would look into my account and by the time they responded they said prices are back up to what you froze them at. Nothing we can do. BAFFLED. They can have my deposit and I'll take my 700+ to another company. What a joke!

First time using Hopper -- booked a rental car and specified pickup location in Chicago. They booked the car--nonrefundable--but changed the pickup and drop off to a town several miles away from Chicago. When I called Hertz, I couldn't change the location without paying twice as much for the rental. No way to reach Hopper for help as there's no contact info, chat, or any assistance whatsoever. They give you Hertz's tel # only. Will never use this app again.

They don't support future flight credit from cancel flights. No way to use the airline future flight credits to book the flights that were canceled due to airlines covid canceled flights. No phone number. The help section mentions future flight credit support is in the app but in reality it is not there at all.

I bought refundable tickets to Barcelona Spain for Sept 2020. Had to cancel flight due to Pandemic and Spain not allowing Americans in. Hopper refuses to refund my refundable tickets only stating they can't get a response from the airline. This is why we use sights like Hopper. Why bother if they can't get your money back! Very unhappy with service.

After receiving horrible customer service from not only the hotel, but Hopper was not help at all. The hotel I room I was given was filled with sticky stains on the floor, stained sheets, and ripped curtains. I relayed all of this to Hopper and all they did was send the same message I had already told the front desk, back to the front desk. They did absolute nothing to fight and help me as a customer of their service which was sorely disappointing. They do not prescreen their hotels nor do they care for their customers well being and will not be helpful if you have any issues. I strongly advise not to waste your money on this service.

Some of their workers scammed me and my mom out of 400 dollars. They overcharged us over 400 dollars EACH for our flights. Then when we got to the airport we had problems with our tickets at every airport we landed at. They contacted us at the airport and told US that we got scammed and they were opening an investigation and would reach back out to us. That was a month ago. DONT USE HOPPER

GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK! THEY STOLE MY MONEY... WHEN YOU FREEZE THE TICKET I WAS TOLD THAT DOWN PAYMENT GO TO TICKET... IT DONT! THEY STILL CHARGE YOU THE PRICE OF THE TICKET... IM WAITING FOR MY REFUND! THERE IS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

We had booked with this agency for a trip through hopper since I was in town for a surgery. We put the booking through hopper with our AMEX and our receipt stated nothing was due for pickup. When we arrived for pickup the clerk at easi rent advised us to use a different card and assured us this would be refunded back since it was only a "deposit" on our AMEX.
When we arrived there were only two people running the whole place it was in a back alley 20 minutes from the airport. The two people only spoke spanish which was not a problem since I do speak spanish myself however this may be an issue for someone who does not speak their language so please bear this in mind. Fast forward a month later we noted that the charge on our AMEX was never returned and we were essentially charged twice for the same rental car (600 vs the original 300 we agreed to). I called AMEX to correct this but Easirent stated that the terms that we had "agreed" to were fulfilled and we did owe them these funds. I've booked through other rental agencies before and have never had any issues. This was my first time using hopper and it will be my last. They are lucky to be getting a single star. I have a copy of the purchase on both my Chase (303.02) and AMEX ( 284.49) card.

I will NEVER EVER EVER use hopper again! I paid to freeze two tickets which were $45 a piece totaling $90 I ended up booking that trip through the same app and my $90 was not applied to my ticket! I then received a message from an agent when I joined a chat to say that my $45 per passenger was nonrefundable. So essentially I paid an extra $90 just to hold a price but they did not apply it to the ticket

I was looking to get my elderly parents a good fair to come visit and wanted to purchase the flight but couldn't do it yet because didn't have enough. I had to wait to get them later decided to freeze the price and literally an hour later was able to get the money together with my other siblings to bring them to Florida and HOPPER was declining the purchase purposely. I called my bank immediately and they told me they were not declining the purchase on the contrary it was HOPPER returning it. Why because that way they can keep the price freeze money. It is ridiculous, because I tried purchasing the next day and the next day and the same thing happened. I tried doing what their "help" automatic message said to do but it didn't work. I can't believe this application is able to steal peoples money just like that and not to mention that it is for two elderly disabled people. Shame on you for doing this and not even having a phone number your customers can reach a live representative to explain the situation and get feed back.

This company is awful and exhibits fraudulent practices. I went to buy a plane ticket and they charged my account (currently pending) then after completing the transaction told me that they no longer had availability of the ticket I purchased. They didn't not immediately undo the charge instead they have left it pending and I don't have access to these funds in my account yet I have received no product in return. They also have no customer support whatsoever unless you have a trip already confirmed in which case you can only submit a "ticket" instead of live support. Terrible company that benefits from people enjoying their easy to use interface then tagging on a ton of highly suggested "insurance" charges that could amount to more than the actual flight is worth. Terrible company that provides little value outside of a quirky interface and I would never suggest anyone use it unless you have a weird kink for fraudulent changes to your account.

Although you can find some low cost tickets, be aware that these are basic economy that don't include any luggage or seats. You will not be able to upgrade.

This company is the worst experience I've ever had. My flights, I booked 5 months in advance, were repeatedly being changed until suddenly, a few weeks prior until my Christmas vacation in Greece, I was notified my trip was cancelled. I was never given a reason. My sister who had the same flight was never notified until she inquired about her trip. Customer service was only via email and after every reply, days would pass until a new person would reply. They refused to answer why my trip was cancelled and offered no solution. I booked when the prices were cheaper, the prices of similar flight paths had tripled by this point so, in order to rebook, I would have to pay thousands more. The customer service was the worst I've ever encountered. It took weeks to sort out and finally get a refund. I was unable to rebook my flights and had my entire Christmas vacation ruined because I did want to pay a thousand more to rebook. Most disappointing experience and ruined my Christmas. Hopper is unreliable, unapologetic, impossible to get a hold, has no customer service number or chat and did nothing to help the impossible situation they put my family in. Do not trust this company. Not worth risking having your flights cancelled and not being notified.

Worst place ever, no costumer service whatsoever, and you will never ever ever ever!, get a refund from them I booked a hotel room I get there and hotel is booked ask for for a refund and never got one from them but IF YOU NEED A REFUND JUST GO TO YOUR BANK TELL THEM WHAT HAPPEND AND THEY WILL GET YOUR MONEY BACK FROM THESE SCAMMERS! That's how I got my refund.

Answer: File a claim with your bank. They charged me An additional 2 nights after hopper said they would refund my money. Instead they went without my consent n charged me an additional 2 nights. I was robbed for a total of 3 nights. Without being able to contact any support. A total Scam!
Answer: No they are about polar opposite of trustworthy. Run don't walk away from this company. My lesson cost $1435 dollars. If you require customer service look elsewhere they have none. Not even a phone number which is the first red flag.
