We arrived at the hotel and attempted to check in. The hotel had no record of our reservation. We contacted Hopper through the app and after waiting for about two minutes a representative logged on. After explaining the issue, the rep reached out to their partner. This process took several minutes. During the wait, the rep provided me a new reservation code which we provided to the clerk. The clerk was able to locate a reservation but it was for a different month and dates. This information was given to the Hopper rep. After several minutes, someone from Hopper contacted the hotel directly and provided them the information to correct the reservation. Eventually the reservation was confirmed and we checked it. The issue was resolved in less than 45 minutes but it was a bit frustrating and unnerving because I could only communicate via texting. As for the Hopper rep, they we're friendly and helpful;. The hotel staff was also exceedingly friendly and very helpful during the entire process. The hotel is what we expected for the location and price.

Disappointed and Robbed
July 21, 2022

Paid for flight insurance through Hopper and they would not grant it. Out the difference in flight and had to pay airline extra money to change my flight. Be careful they are not as honest as they appear and are happy to tale your money.

Price Freeze Scam

Hopper Flights & Hotels website allows you to put a Price Freeze on a hotel you might want to finalize with a booking. Unfortunately I don't think that the 'Non Refundable' Price Freeze Policy is clearly explained up front when you place a Price Freeze. I would have expected a pop up box to appear as I was placing a Price Freeze that indicated that if I proceeded with the deposit and later decided not to book a hotel, the deposit wouldn't be refundable. Instead the policy is hidden under the Terms & Conditions near the bottom of the page. I hope you can help me get my refund. I was charged 45.96 British Pounds which is an extortionate amount of money to hold a booking only to loose it if you don't follow through with a booking. I placed the Price Freeze on 14 July, I was charged to my visa card on that date.

They made it impossible to use my credit by jacking the rates to ridiculous amounts Like they said to rebook the fair difference was $13,000 when originally my tickets were only 1500 for two flights

The app really help you tracking prices and is not a scam. I had a delay with the airline confirmation and after a chat request they send me the correct confirmation some minutes later. Buen servicio al cliente en español!

This company has no customer service. They will offer you a great deal, then do a bait and switch on you! I booked a room for 101.00 and I ended up paying 173.22. DON'T USE THEM!

We will never use Hopper or deal with a company outside of the airlines again. We missed our flight to Lisbon three weeks ago and when we tried to call customer service, they hung up on us (approximately 15 times over the course of days). They have yet to even SEE our written request to get assistance. The airlines couldn't change our itinerary because of us having bought our tickets through an outside agency, so we had to rebook and join our tour days late and lost thousands $$. Never again. We're home now and Hopper still hasn't responded to our requests.

So, before I used hopper to get my last flight with 4 days notice, I read some reviews saying that customer service wasn't good, so after buying my trip, even tho it said the first bag was free, I didnt see the bag included in the airline, so I messaged support, the answer was super quick, and they told me to buy it myself, and they would reimburst it afterwards. I was eerie of this, but the refund was in my paypal 1 day after I turned in the receipts! I had to leave a good review after all the bad ones I saw of the support!

Dissatisfied

So I had booked on here for a hotel that was recommended by a family member for my Dad's 50th birthday surprise party. When I was freezing the price for Comfort suites inn in Las cruces on university it had taken me back to the same page. I was thinking it had never went through since I did not receive a confirmation #. So I tried again and then I had received the confirmation #. I then noticed on my account they charged me double for the price freeze and once I tried contacting customer service regarding what had happened they pretty much told me that it was my fault for double clicking on the price freeze and that it was non-refundable. So use caution using this site cause they can scam you. Good luck to future customers.

We used hopper for our Kelowna trip in June. We used it for both flights and hotel. Flights went great however we were double charged for hotel (hotel and hopper collected funds) When we realized it was tricky to find a way of contacting hopper as our trip was already complete. From reading reviews I saw this was an issue that others had had. I felt unsure if I could get my issue resolved however I went back to my booking email and contacted Hopper and they were great at communicating with me and resolving the problem. It did take some time but the fully refunded and gave me back my hotel credit. They were always very consistent, considerate and cooperative. Will definitely use Hopper again.

This company is a scam! Stay away! Not worth the hustle! I tried to book a hotel with the app and since my card wasn't getting through I tried to book it through my friends phone! I booked the price freeze and they deducted the 284$ but I couldn't book through his card as he wasn't traveling with me! I called my bank and was able to book through my card but since the charge on my friends phone was a duplicate I have been hassling with them for a refund! They say price freezes are non refundable but they also say after 24 hours the price freeze expires, so what is the 24 hours for if they are going to deduct anyways! Getting through them is chaotic, they jumped me through 4 reps who know absolutely nothing and come back with the same lame excuses! I have disputed the claim with my bank! Just stay away from this deceptive app! I am probably filing a complaint with BBB as well as we need someone to look into their deceptive practices!

If you select price freeze you will be charged immediately for every day you select at a hotel. You will not get your money back if you decide to go to a different hotel. No refund if you pay for reservation. Not Happy

I just booked a flight and the app tells me the transaction didn't go through, yet I see the amount debited from my account. Plus 60$ was added to the amount. No mention of that extra anywhere. And lastly, I have NOT received a confirmation of booking. Forget about calling them, they are not taking calls under no circumstance, I know I've tried pressing every button.

Very very deceptive. I sure hope to get my eticket!
