I set an alert on this app a few months out to be notified of the best time to purchase tickets. The app told me to wait. When the app informed me to buy, the price of tickets had gone up $130. This is certainly not what I used the app for. Definitely check another app out.

Hopper is useful for predicting the best fares for airline tickets. Just hope that no major changes happen with your flight, because you will never get in touch with an actual human being. I have been waiting for an email response since Sunday. Multiple attempts to reach someone through their app haven't helped either. I had previously recommended this app to several friends based on my first experience, but I will never book through these guys again.
Find the best and cheapest itinerary for your travel. The best thing, no additional fees, ads or other crap. Be sure to drop the $5 tip on hopper if their service helped you!
I absolutely love Hopper for planning all my trips, both domestic and international estimates are always on point and the alerts are super key to locking in the best rates based on my budget and preferences! Highly highly recommend!
Froze a ticket that was $252 and the price went up to $736 when I went back in to purchase it. I paid the $736 and received the difference back in 3 business days as promised. I was nervous about it when I purchased the ticket at the higher price, but sooooo thrilled it worked out just as they said. No issues! Yay Hopper!
I've been trying to reach Hopper for over 5 days now via chat and email to change reservation dates. Nobody addressed my concerns thus far. It's good UI to see what days are cheaper and book the ticket. But if you need to change dates, you are doomed.
I've been using Hopper for quite sometime for my traveling needs and I absolutely love it! The prices are reasonable and fair most of the time. I like how they added the "Freeze the Price" to the app as well.

Used to love this app but lately none of the prices are accurate when you actually look at the flights to book, minimum of 100 bucks more than what it says. It's useless now.
I have done a decent amount of traveling in the last three years to attend festivals all over the country and this is the only app I have used in booking every single one of those flights. If you're trying to travel more by saving more this is the app. It's been honest and accurate in their predictions which has saved me hundreds i absolutely love this app and I recommend to everyone who asks how I travel as much as I do
I use this to watch flights for myself, family & friends. The website is very friendly. They give you the best price.
Hopper has been and is the greatest thing ever since planning a flight, it even has price freeze and cancel accommodations for a tiny fee. I've never seen anything like it, i recommend it to everyone i know who constantly travels. It even has an option for you to leave a tip, with all the great perks, how could you not leave a tip .....Thanks hopper

This service charged my mother twice even though they didn't book the ticket. Now she has no money to afford her RENT and hopper refuses to call us to handle it. Terrible customer service. What a scam!!!!!
Very frustrating to deal with hopper. I originally paid extra to have a quicker travel time, but that flight was canceled and i was moved to another flight with much longer flight time. They wouldn't step up and refund me anything or look to change my flight to a more efficient path, i was just out a few hundred dollars and given an extra 8 hours of travel time. Poor customer service.
DONT BUY FOR INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS! They don't collect your middle name and then are helpless to add it later.
Three times in a row I selected a flight and tried to book, only to have to "log in" via a text message link. Each time, the link reset the app to the beginning (without successfully logging me in) and the price went up. I'm now flying on days I didn't want to because I can't afford the additional cost that could have been avoided with a FUNCTIONAL LOGIN SYSTEM.
I chose the 48 hr price freeze and when I went to pay - the seat wasn't available.
The say in the Hopper rules That they will pay the difference of the flight that you find.
I sent him a text thru customer support...NO RESPONSE. Chose another flight- price freeze again - Thr app froze - No seat, no flight, no communication.hop down the road.
Watch out, downloaded the app and did a few test searches. All flights were more expensive than just booking direct from airlines or using Google Flights. First search was only a couple dollars more, but another search from Louisville Kentucky to Orlando Florida was $448 on Google Flights and at American Airlines directly, and the same American Airlines flights on the same date were $463 on Hopper.
So it looks like Hopper is charging a hidden booking fee.
If you use Hopper to search, I would recommend booking directly through airline to avoid this fee. At the very least confirm your price using Google Flights.
Beware everyone !!!Do not use this app. I purchased two round trip tickets of which my credit card was definitely charged ($996). The app was successful in charging me, but failed in confirming with the actual tickets I purchased. I got no email. The app doesn't show that I have a purchased trip, but my credit card was charged! There is no way to contact this company. No email support. I don't see a customer contact number in their site. I tried their main number which I think goes to their main office, but their voicemail was full and unable for me to leave a message. I tried my credit card company to reverse the charge, but they can't do anything until it posts. At which point I can take action and get this off my card. I'm extremely disappointed to be charged and NOT get any communication (email, text, call) from this company.
Answer: File a claim with your bank. They charged me An additional 2 nights after hopper said they would refund my money. Instead they went without my consent n charged me an additional 2 nights. I was robbed for a total of 3 nights. Without being able to contact any support. A total Scam!
Answer: No they are about polar opposite of trustworthy. Run don't walk away from this company. My lesson cost $1435 dollars. If you require customer service look elsewhere they have none. Not even a phone number which is the first red flag.
Answer: There is no customer service, no phone number and no one will address your concerns on social media, or through their app.
Answer: DO NOT TRUST THIS APP WHAT SO EVER! They booked 3 nights after I was waiting for my refund. TOTAL SCAM!
