On July 6,2023, I purchased a GE refrigerator on line the Home Depot website. The site stated it was available and even set a delivery date of 7/11/23. My card was even charged. On 7/10/23, I received notification that the item was not available and a new delivery date was set, August 3rd. I call their Customer Care and the female rep stated that the date had been changed. I advised this was unacceptable, that if it wasnt available, I wouldnt have ordered it. She placed me on hold and after over 5 min, she came on and stated that the refrigerator could be delievered on 7/17/23. I accepted this. Three hours later, I received another message that it could not be delivered on 7/13/23 and the new delivery date was 8/3/23. I called again and a male rep stated that it was infact 8/3/23 and that the previous rep, should not have promised the 7/17/23 date, I expressed my unhappiness and he stated what do you want me to do about it. Do you just want to cancel the order. I stated, No. I want my refrigerator. He stated then it is Aug 3. On Aug 2, I again received notification that the refrigerator would not be delivered until 8/9/23, which thankfully it was. This was over one month on an item they showed as available. Plus all the problems with the customer service and promises. I dont believe I will ever buy another appliance through Home Depot. Their competitor had it, I found out later, and they stated they could get it out the next day. Very disappointed in Home Depot and it seems they dont care. Find an item at another place if you can
Ordered and paid for a front door with a sidelight on 5/30/23. They were to call when it came in and set up install date within 28 days or less. Called numerous times after the 28 days, phone not answered in the door dept. Finally came in on 6/30/23, the installer called me to see if he could install the door that day since he had a cancellation, and was installed at that time.
Front door had a dent in it so it needed to be replaced. Installer contacted Home Depot to inform that it needed to be replaced.
Called on 7/11/23 to find out the ETA, stated it would be in on 7/31/23. Called on 8/3/23 to check the status. Johnny told me he would call the manufacturer to find out why it hadn't come in and call me right back. Johnny did not call me. I called on 8/9/23 to find out the status, again no one answered the phone - it rang for over 7 min. Before they hung up on me. Called back two more times and finally Johnny answered the phone. Stated the door just came in and gave me no explanation for why he didn't call me back on Thursday the 3rd. He also didn't know when they could install it. In the meantime I can't set my alarm till the door is installed.
Very disappointed in their customer service support.
Ordered a camping chair seven days ago that they said was in stock. It still has not shipped. Shipper says they have not received it. Won't let me cancel even though it has not shipped yet.
This time the Home Depot delivered and installed (plugged in) an electric range and it's dented inside the lower drawer. It looks like they dropped it on the steps or something.

I have a fairly large lawn in town that takes an hour to cut and was spectacle about buying a battery operated lawn mower but surprise surprise it was the best 700 dollars I spent. Nice and quiet no worries about gas and oil anymore Iawn was completely done and still lots of power. Lawn looked like it was pressed after mowing no lines in it. I kept it on 1/4 speed and I was jogging i hate to see full speed lol. Cleans up nice and easy and can be stored sideways for easy storage not like gas when tip them sideways gets in filter and there goes a cost of buying a new filter and just a pain. Setup out of the box is easy since it folds like a small table. Light enough the wife can put it away easily. And she cuts the lawn because it is not noisy do not have to wear ear muffs and blow your ear drums. Takes 5 minutes to clean up with water. What else can I say Ryobi you come a long way. Here is pics after lawn is cut and how clean lawn mower stays after cleaned. Yes an extra battery is expensive but so is an EV battery just have to look after and store it properly. I give this lawnmower a 10 star rating for use and overall rating.

We then called the 800 number for help and were told that if you're signed in to your account, you will NOT get any information? She walked me through it and, AFTER I had SIGNED OUT! Of my account,I was able to see my orders? What the hay? So anyone can look up MY orders on my OWN account EXCEPT for ME? That is completely backwards! The site has some SERIOUS issues.

I was charged $79 delivery fee on an item that said free delivery on the website. I was also charged another $75 for delivery because the order was broken up into two shipments. The customer service rep said it was because it was two separate orders.
Never again, these people are thieves.
Purchased an LG refrigerator on June 30th which was delivered on July 7th. Noticed that ice maker and water dispenser did not work correctly. Checking behind refrigerator - notice water leaking out from a broken line. Contacted Plymouth, MA. Sales person next day. A replacement refrigerator to be delivered July 10th which turned out to be only delivery guy checking the problem and leaving. He determined a replacement refrigerator to be delivered. On July 21 delivery guy arrived looked at the problem and fixed it. Why didn't the repairman on10th do the same thing. Very poor service from him but great response later. So much time wasted. I will no longer shop at Home Depot. Service is great at the beginning than it stops. Sad!
I bought a new stove from home depot and the door handle fell off. It was obviously broken and glued back together. Home depot ILLEGALLY sold me a used or repaired stove as new. Calling customer service was a continuous run-around and hang ups. I have spent more than $45,000 at home depot over the past 24 years and I will not give them another penny
My husband and I bought a MrCool mini split through Home Depot in Tacoma WA and received only partial order. We went to the stores Customer Service and asked about our shortage (with a mini split you get 2 or more indoor head units, 2 in our case, but we only received 1) and both the Associate who sold it to us and the store manager first said that all 4 packages were delivered (we had 5 packages, not 4) then proceeded to say that the last package hasn't shipped. Another Manager was supposed to call us this past Tuesday but to this day has not. We are 3 weeks in with no other resolution other than they would like us to return all of the unit back to them and they would replace it….with another partial order? According to the MrCool associate we spoke to, Home Depot has been ordering "partial " orders for this particular item so are they trying to "scam" the American market? It cost us 1700. For the install, am I supposed to pay another $1700. For the uninstall and hope my next order is complete? Sad and frustrating.
Do not buy from Home Depot if you want a discount match with Menards because they will not honor it. Thy made changes to the program and did not notify ProReward members! Menards gives a 11% rebate on all items and Home Depot will not honor it. The management need to be fired! This is a poor program and the Preferred pricing is a joke. 3-5% off.
Jerry & Jack in the Granbury store are the most knowledgeable, friendly employees I have ever encountered in Home Depot. We bought a exterior door and storm door along with the hardware. They re-keyed the new locks we were buying to our current keys. The doors were just as easy to hang as they stated. Delivery man hired by Home Depot was so disrespectful.

Upon entering the store, My daughter approached an employee named [Robert] for assistance in securing a rental. To my dismay, She was met with a barrage of derogatory and offensive remarks,. The employee's language and tone were not only disrespectful but also created an intimidating and hostile environment.
As a customer, I believe it is essential to be treated with respect and dignity, I was shocked and deeply hurt by the employee's behavior toward my daughter which not only crossed professional boundaries but also violated Home Depot's commitment to providing a safe and inclusive shopping experience.
She immediately sought assistance from another employee who, after witnessing the incident, did not intervene. I find it deeply concerning that such behavior was allowed to occur in the first place.
It is crucial for Home Depot to take immediate action in addressing this matter. I kindly request the following steps to be taken:
1. Conduct a thorough investigation into the incident, including obtaining statements from witnesses and reviewing any available surveillance footage.
2. Provide appropriate disciplinary action, in line with Home Depot's policies, to ensure that this employee understands the severity of their actions and to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.
3. Implement mandatory sensitivity training and diversity education for all employees to foster a respectful and inclusive environment within your stores.

June 6th we ordered gutter guards online. We received a confirmation email with a ship to store date in 2 days and a link to track our order. The link to the tracking never worked, nor did putting the number in the website tracking space. We were notified via email it would be another week. Then NOTHING. I contacted customer service and was told it would be another week. I continued to call multiple times and NO ONE was able to provide any information, other than pushing the date out. They said they called the warehouse, store, etc. and it was "on the way". Tracking never works. They "reordered" it for us. Nothing. No emails, no calls, no refunds. It's been over 5 weeks and nothing. They should get out of the online retail business. They have no workable systems to support customers.
I purchased generator online from Home depot. Generator was shipped in original pkg. I started generator after putting accessories on and adding fuel,and connecting battery (oil) for engine. Included with item. Generator started very easy! Love it,especially the electric start. Very nice quality,at a fair price. Works as it stated when reviewing item. Perfect for back up power when there is none. A little louder than thought,but its definitely worth the money!. I would recommend this item too anyone looking for a quality generator that wont break your wallet! Everything about it. Especially the carbon monoxide shut down features.

On Jun 17,2003, I placed an online order for a refrigerator through the Home Depot website, eagerly anticipating its delivery by Temco Logistics. I was assured by your representative that the subsequent delivery would be handled by a more experienced team to avoid any further issues. However, to my dismay, the second delivery attempt was also a complete failure. The delivery personnel failed to show up at the scheduled time, despite the online system indicating that they had missed us.
Throughout this ordeal, I tried contacting Home Depot's and Temco Logistics customer service multiple times to seek clarification, express my frustration, and request a resolution to this matter. However, the level of responsiveness and assistance I received from your customer service department was alarmingly lacking. The lack of concern and support further aggravated my disappointment and dissatisfaction with Home Depot's services.
The consequences of these delivery failures were not insignificant. As we had cleared out our previous refrigerator in preparation for the new one, we were left without a functioning appliance for an extended period. The perishable food items we had stored spoiled, leading to a significant financial loss and inconvenience for my family.
Purchased a vanity with threshold delivery because I'm disabled have terminal cancer scheduled delivery was for 07/03/23 on Saturday 07/01/23 at 6:30am I looked out window and vanity was out there on the street now I have to pay someone to finish the delivery meanwhile Home Depot takes credit for delivery I will never buy a mail from them again.I don't advice anyone to do business with them…I called the delivery company and when the man realized why I was calling he made out like he was a recording and told me to leave a message. Not only do they charge you for one thing and do another but they make a joke out of you Thank You Home Depot but never again!
Answer: Hi Betty, you can also return without receipt if you purchased using your credit card. Give them the same CC and they can tell the price you bought at.
