We are visited Berekley Springs in August for the archery tournament.
We booked the last room (115) paid everything before thru Pricelist but when we received the room upon arrival the room was smelling from urine badly.It was below the condition to stay.
We requested the different room but the guy was an absolute douchebag.
He can't care less.
We are moved to the different city and hotel and they won't refund the $1400.
Never again this experience.

I booked a hotel room in Saint Augustine Beach. They charged my credit card but sent me the confirmation to a similar hotel in the historic district some 5 miles away.I called immediately to correct the location, They confirmed the error but said this was a nonrefundable booking and that they couldn't do anything about it, the rep was rude and not very helpful. I finally got a response a week later. Had I known they were not going to return the funds I would have just stayed there.

I have made reservation via them for $900. But it would only cost $780 if book via other platform. And the prices showed on quote was very misleading (didn't indicate price per night but looks like total).

CC sent charge notification for Paradise Pnt in SoCal. I'm in AK working. Called Hotel, not affiliated (CC charge shows *ParadisePt*). CC Co gave vendor #. 48 min > 3 toll-free numbers>disconnects>coherences/scripted dialogues>robbed>deflated. Emails received showing I BOOKED "your number your email, your responsible"- by "Get A Room" scam vender. Was told by 3rd party scam: make the 2 night trip/discounted 3rd night+vouchers. Cancelled for one night refund/2nd night charged due to policy. Even tho I didn't book! No management/billling/dispute department. Canceled CC. Filed complaint with my CC. In "dispute resolution" "Get A Room" said I never cancelled (I have an email showing I canceled and refunded ONE night but not second due to cancel policy "you accepted").
WHAT A NIGHTMARE. Also, for last 8+ yrs: best to book with hotel/airline always (unless reputable Vendor, still call/confirm w original entity you're booking).

You will NOT get what you would expect from a Hilton. Room was not clean, no shampoo, no soap in showers, pool was ice cold and rusty edges. Lobby was clean, front desk clerk was just "ok" Absolutely disappointed in so many ways. Just very tacky, dated, dirty and blah for the price.
Lastly, outside pool area was so gross, blood stains on a chair, cigarette butt's scattered and weeds everywhere in the "flower beds" that had no flowers! Bed skirts were ripped and bedding was stained!

I booked the room on Expedia and the pet fees were not listed on the hotel description and they were not included in the final price.
When we arrived we were told that they were going to keep half of the security deposit. I asked why and was told for "deep cleaning".
I told the receptionist that I would not have stayed there if I had known. Hilton and Doubletree do not charge for pets. He was nice, but I still had to pay.
The photos included are my feet 10 minutes after a shower and walking barefoot in the room. The wash cloth and napkin are dirty from wiping up water on the floor.
We paid $216 to stay in a room with a filthy floor and a hotel that is practically underneath the 10 freeway.
We have a very different definition of what "deep cleaning" means.

DO NOT STAY HERE. This place is a dive. The rooms aren't clean. The wifi is terrible and our vehicle had two smashed out windows when we woke up the next morning. Nothing was left in the car, windows were smashed out anyway. Stay where you can have a safe space for your vehicle. San Fran has turned ghetto. This place is a dump!

I booked through Guest Reservations at the Comfort Inn Benalla Victoria for Sunday night 4 August.
I had a email confirmation of the booking.
When I arrived I was told my booking had be transfered to another ( read cheaper) motel.
I was told they were booked out
I had a trailer and needed trailer parking.and I had a booking.
After much argument a room was provided and I estimate the motel had no more than about 50% booked on the night.
Very unimpressed having stayed at this motel over many years.
Clearly under new management,given that Guest Reservations charged $80 over the rack rate.

I booked in their website,price $380,I paid $794 this automatic took to my visa too expensive! The tax they took from this booking $264, one or two days of stay around Manila honestly. The staff was very nice and accommodating however the condition of the hotel was deplorable. The hotel had roaches, infested with mold and just dirty. I have attached the photos so that you can make an educated decision. If you have any health concerns keep going.

The Hotel front desk was not helpful when it came to understanding rates and prices. Didn't want to call down a manager to help. Hotel didn't clean rooms, replace towels and wash cloths, or make up the bed. I stayed for three nights and they only cleaned the room once. Upstair bar chief closed the kitchen an hour before it was suppose to close and I didn't receive a refund. I had a horrible experience and not impressed with my stay.

$229 fee. Not disclosed. No matter what the customer service representative says. I would never agree to such a rip off fee. Room rates were at most $174 and least $130 so the fee is so disproportionate it's not even funny. Buyer beware!

My family and I have stayed here for years. Unfortunately this year was the last. When we arrived for check -in it was pretty late. Waited for about an hour. They were short staffed. As we were waiting. Esmeralda, the receptionist was so rude. She made a comment while we were still in line AS SHE WAS HELPING SOMEONE. The manager didnt really seem to care. This is a scam website designed to look like a hotel website. They will show you a low rate and charge 60% over the quoted rate. That's not hotel tax, obviously. Don't get tricked into booking through these crooks.

First, the website is EXTREMELY deceiving. I clicked on the link to book a room at the hotel that I needed to be at for continuing education hours. The price was noted as one thing then upon completing my booking it was almost triple that price!
Second, MAKE SURE TO READ ALL THE FINE PRINT! Once I discovered the exorbitant price, I tried to cancel and was then told the booking was non-refundable.
Now let's discuss the condition of the room. Embassy Suites in Columbia, South Carolina is filthy and run down.
The room smelled, the A/C never turned off. Tried bumping the thermostat up to no avail. After having it set to 85 and it was still under 70 in the room we ended up just turning it off and going to the front desk to ASK for a blanket (none were provided in the room), the sheets were falling off the bed and there was no bedskirt (you could see the mattress was just thrown on top of a box. The showers drain plug was broken and left sitting on the side of the tub. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls. They charged you for every little thing.
I spoke to the front desk and was told there was nothing they could do about the charges because it was through a 3rd party booking (which I understand) But, They didn't seem to care about the conditions in the room.
All that being said, buyer beware, the search results are made to look like your clicking on the actual hotels site, not a third party. I did learn a valuable lesson. Always deal with the hotel directly…they will never actually collect payment until your stay. Just have your card on file to reserve the room.

Motel 8 would have probably been better. After being here a whole day now you need a key card to get in the front door and asking my kids what room they in, when going to eat breakfast. Got here and got my room now they need a $100 down deposit for if the room is damaged or smoked in like they are too 8 rated. Get the room a the bathroom door is broken and won't close no sheets or pillows or blankets for the pull out sofa this is crazy. They were so polite when we go here and now every time it's something. Never will I ever book here again. Babies crying at 1 in the morning not once did I hear them being questioned. Breakfast is not all that like the pictures and it is way smaller than we expected.

I am writing to you to inform you of a situation I experienced at Harrah's Hotel and Casino, on July 21 at about 9.30 pm. My family and I were in the elevator heading down to the arcade area, when the elevator stopped working. The elevator lost power and my kids began to get scared. I tried to keep them calm while I attempted to ring the bell to let someone know we were stuck in the elevator. But there was no answer. My children began to panic even more when they noticed that I was not able to reach anyone. I then started to pry open the doors and got it open enough to get a bystander's attention to help me further open the elevator doors and to help me get my family out of the elevator. The gentleman that helped us out was the security guard and he advised me to voice my concern to the receptionist at the desk. When I went to talk to the manager at the front desk, she surprisingly brushed me off and directed me to make a report with the security manager (Susan M.) at 702 -298 -6841. After talking with them and seeing no results, I decided to raise my concerns higher. I have been visiting the hotel for years and nothing like this ever happened, The staff has always been courteous, friendly, and helpful. We were looking for a hotel near the airport just for one night. My two sisters and a nice. We were flying the next day very early next morning back home. We got the room # 322. I shower and put on my pjs when one of my sisters started yelling " There is a wasp in the curtain!" She manage to kill it. She went to talk to the manager downstairs $#*!, chubby (white trash) no customer service at all! She said that she couldn't change us to another room because we have used it already. ( she was more worry about the room that a wasp could have sting us or our 12 years old niece ( who is afraid of any type of insects) while she was downstairs my other sister and I saw three more wasps on the window. We discover that the window was open on the side ( that's where they got in) we manage to take them out with a hand towel. At this point we were afraid that more will show up during the night. I called the front desk and ask to speak to the manager. This women that answered the phone and has checked us in said she was the manager. I told her about we found 3 more wasps and we wanted to get moved to another room and then she asked again how much room we have used! Omg. I asked her to moved us to a different room because there was a child here and were afraid other will show up later. She then said ok come and get the key to another room. Never show concern for our safety and the inconvenience at all. Never asked if we were ok either! My sister and I went downstairs to pick up the keys ( which she should have brought to our room as a courtesy and concern for the incident) i told her she should have better customer service and move us since the first incident happen regardless of the amount of space we used! She gave the keys to room #234 and said just leave and go to the room sitting down the whole time. We got into a discussion with her my sister and I and all she said was bye i am not doing this. Well to start with we said, ' you were not doing anything' she continue to say bye, bye just leave etc. i told her this is what happen when you rent a room in a crappy hotel; this is the kind of employees you have to deal with. No customer service, no concern for the customers safety neither their satisfaction. Never renting a room from this chain of hotels again. The hotel does not look like the pictures at all! Inside the paint is peeling off, the elevator is so slow and deteriorated. Horrible hotel and the white trash manager there! Not sure who made her manager. I stayed here 8/2/24 around 6:00 pm and this women was here. DO NOT STAY HERE! Not worth the money neither the stress you go through with their horrible customer service.
