Always Missing Items

They claim that half your order was out of stock when it's the most basic items you can find at any store. Ginger ale was apparently not available. Cranberry juice. Eggs, bread, and cheese just completely missing. Their customer service people are all liars and lie through their teeth. They do not care how ridiculous it is for them to pretend that Walmart was out of ginger ale. Like that would literally never happen, it's a staple. These aren't rare esoteric ingredients. They will no longer refund your delivery fee either which is basically THEFT since they didn't deliver what you ordered. Absolute joke and will never use them again. There's actually not even a point because you won't get what you ordered anyway. I would be embarrassed as a company to be inept.

Repeated garbage

First time, I was missing items with no contact to substitute. Went to the store myself that day and found the items staring right at me. Second time, I got my neighbor's order then within an hour, my delivery was there and the neighbor's was missing. Neither of us know how this happened. Third time, my order is delayed past the window of two hours and the site won't allow me to cancel unless I wait to receive them then go make a return. On top of that, the last time I politely addressed my concerns with a human at customer service, they said "just keep the stuff. Were used to it". Uhm, that is theft. We also live in a gated community with large numbers next to each garage door. My gosh. Just sh** can the whole delivery roulette ordeal and start over. I will gladly just stick to better food at a delivery premium instead of walmart+. If it's free, it is worth what you paid for it!

Placed an order at 11pm for delivery between 5pm - 6pm next day 2/9/24. Leave work early home 15 mins to spare. 3 ph calls canceled order/ reorder. 8:48 pm received order not what I ordered plus charged again but $3 more because it's an express order now but wait... Walmart + has over $150 of my money for a $77 order I placed that was 2 hrs and 48 minutes LATE.
When I called spoked with customer service manager his attitude sucked. Like I was bothering him about a service I paid for and did not receive. Being doubled charge by walmart + thats affecting my budget.
Old saying...
What looks good to you is not always good for you.

We have three different delays for delivery of our orders. The first time we thought it was a fluke, the second time we were told it was delayed and no details about WHEN it would be delivered -- even the next day. This third time (one week later) we used a different store in hopes the problem would not occur, but the same thing occurred. No delivery and no communication. When I used the Chat resource on the website we were told the last two delays were because the driver was called out on emergency. Same reason for both delays -- exact same language in the chat. This is a convenient service, but they pale in comparison with the service that Instacart provides. When you order your items you are given a list of times available. If those times are not going to be available -- DO NOT OFFER THEM! I am at my wits end!
UPDATE: After multiple Chat sessions we converted the delivery to a pick up. When we went to retrieve the order several hours later (when the website told us it was ready) we waited for around an hour before someone finally called us while we were sitting in our car and told us they did not have the order.

Half my order missing

I ordered online normally I'm only missing 1 to 3 items so of course I'm going to get my money back for the iteams not received well last week I placed a 310$ order going threw my bags I had all meats, yogurts, ext missing from my order over 180$ missing and walmart said because I have refunded before they couldn't do anything. When I told them I did not want a refund but for them to call the driver to bring my missing bags they refused and were very ignorant I will never shop at Walmart again.

It sounds good but don't do it!
I tried it, 1st time trying it and wow. I could see on the app that my products got picked. Then a call came in from "insta cart". An Asian girl that I couldn't understand 1 word,then she hung up. So I checked the walmart app again. All of a sudden every product line started saying "return". The total that was debited from me was $118. Then it showed a refund was issued for $93. Then I scrolled to Help,contact,call. Said 404 error sorry we've goofed up. So wouldn't contact me gor help.
I had to find a contact number online for walmart and call. Called them and got not much help. Guy was unable to give me an explanation to why my order canceled. Blamed their delivery partner"Instacart ". Told me I "would" get my full $118 refund in 5-10 buisness days. So that's my grocery money for this week's groceries that I'll get in 5-10 days. What bs! All I got was a sorry sir. Not even an explanation. Never ever again!

Two Thumbs DOWN!

Ordered a delivery on Thursday. Friday was booked so a delivery for Saturday was the option. Come Sunday night still no delivery. Called both the store then the Hotline. Reply was "waiting for another driver to be assigned it may be another 23 hours and 17 minutes." Just laughed at such a ridiculous reply and wanted my money back. Walmart delivery gets Two Thumbs Down!

I pay for the delivery service annually but it is rare that I don't have an issue with the delivery. 2 times in a row the driver just didn't show up. The 1st time I finally went and picked it up. The next time it was finally delivered around 8pm after I called all day. Today, I got a message that my order was returned to the store. Because of health issues I need these services. I wish Walmart would get this service to be efficient.

Delivery sucks! Communication and tracking details sucks! Costumer Service always making up excuses sucks! Delayed orders with no accurate delivery time given sucks! 10 day refund policy after your money was taken within seconds sucks! Never again!

2 hr delay

I received notification 10 minutes before my delivery hr 2-3 pm that there was a 2 hour delay and no refund. 2 hours is a big delay. Just enough time to watch a Packer game at 3pm for the driver. I will never use this again. I could have picked my things up if I knew there was a 2 hr delay. I arranged my whole schedule of what dinner,was going to be. Not satisfied. This is no way to treat your customers

Beyond words at this point. Every time I make an order, it repeatedly debits the bank account with a hold. Over and over! Sometimes the order debits don't post until 30 days later. Then they bill you individually for items that are part of an order, so you can't even correspond your records to your purchase history in the app! You call the toll free number for help and get routed to Mexico who then put you through to billing which is an American citizen that gives you a perfectly long winded legitimate explanation as to why they're ripping you off. It's a total nightmare. Your stuff doesn't arrive, deliveries constantly delayed, and they sell you rotten vegetables. It's a $#*!ty service. Sadly, you'd save money to just get a Uber and go get it yourself. Take my word for it, it takes a lot to piss me off. I'm pretty simple and easily pleased, so please understand I am not one of those internet people that just like to gripe about stuff. I am sincerely trying to give you an honest perspective. Walmart. Com SUCKS!

I just got out of the hospital. I have been ill since Thanksgiving. I moved December 7th to a new location in the DTC, my last place I never had an issue with delivery. Since I have moved into a building that requires you to read delivery instructions, I have gotten my groceries once. None of the drivers speak English. None of them can understand what you're saying they ignore your delivery instructions their packing skills are a disgrace and today all of my bags broke and went all over the hallways of my apartment building. If they would have followed the instructions, then I wouldn't have had to carry the groceries three minutes to get to my apartment and the bags wouldn't have ripped, if they hadn't put ten cans of beans in one bag. No common sense and no english equals disaster, and loss of profit for a franchise such as yourself!

Risky business Beware!

After attempting to pick up grocery orders made on line, and having terrible overall experience with that I tried the Walmart+ service. That was even a bigger mistake.
Why? You are trusting your order to a non walmart employee that is a third party go for.
A gig worker with no vetting and you have no idea what to expect.
And believe you me you will not be pleased.
After I guess maybe 5 orders to my home most of them had issues.
Todays was the worst. OF the 18 items ordered the driver arrives with a box of saltines and two green peppers. Oh and four trays of bottled water I didn't order. The rest of the shopped order he had "no idea " where they were or what happened. So 60 bucks down the drain.
To add insult to injury, the driver told Walmart he returned the order to the store. But of course that can't occur as my order is clearly somewhere else. After hours online chat with the bots that now stand in for humans' customer service, I was told that as soon as the order is showing returned to the store, it can be cancelled and I will get my refund.
Right.
IT's been over 15 hours and the status has not changed.
I sent a long detailed complaint of this matter to Walmart Corporate, their CEO and in the past I have gotten resolution.
I would go somewhere else for groceries, but Walmart is the least expensive and I have already paid for the Walmart+.
I have a video of the delivery on my RIng storage and it documents all I am saying.
I don't know how a fully shopped order could leave the store and, in the hands of a third party, be morphed into bottled water and saltines. Do you?

Doordash or some other third party does. The problem with that is no third party driver may be available or interested in your order because of where you live or some other prejudice. For instance if the drivers sees its an order paid for by food stamps he may decline as he wants a tip and he thinks that order won't realize a tip.
That's just one big warning sign. The other is their lack of honesty about why they miss a delivery and when they call back to reschedule. They can and do forget, you could be waiting days for your food or your money.
Update with the help of corporate the items were finally delivered yesterday with errors, omissions but delivered. Today a credit adjustment was made to my account.
It's been a stressful experience and honestly, without corporate's intervention I don't think it would have been resolved.

I have ordered the last 5 or so times advocados and bananas. They send their rotten produce to the people who do online delivery because they can't get rid of it in the store. This along with the fact that they have multiple other issues with each order means i will not be renewing this service. You waste a ton of money using this service

Online work is terrible and home delivery is even worse. You have never been treated so disrespectfully as a customer in any market in this country. After a wait of more than five hours for a home delivery order for a purchase of more than 300 dollars, I was never kept informed of what was happening with my order. After almost 6 hours I had to contact the store so they could tell me what The order would be delivered another day. When it was scheduled to deliver today December 23,2023

I get text driver on way, once he arrives he calls my phone and speaks no English, he can't understand me so he keeps hanging up. He sends me pic of the wrong apt door in completely wrong apt complex. I send him pic of my complex but he doesn't understand and insisted on staying at the wrong complex. I go outside n see he was across the way, I'm hollering n screaming for his attention. Overal he could not read or understand English, he took pic of apt 2248, im 1147 so I won't be ordering online again! This lasted 20min and i was missing an item I wanted to cook..

Horrible

Ordered groceries for my family with the last bit if money we had to get us to pay day. The groceries never did show up even though it was marked delivered. Called customer service and was told that my postal code was wrong even though in my profile it was the same as my address. I was told there was nothing they could do. Meanwhile we have no money or groceries to feed our children. After 6 hours and 3 customer service agents who would repeatedly tell me to wait 2 more hours, 2 more hours while my children are starving eventually issued me a refund. Refunds don't show in your account for days and for some reason they just couldn't re deliver my order? So I had to asked my neighbors for help with food for 4 days so my children starve. Multi million dollar corporation couldn't just delivery my groceries would rather have children go hungry, never ever again will I step foot in walmart.

They pretend that delivery is free if you purchase over $35. The truth is you won't get your item delivered unless you add a tip, hence it is not free. Typical Walmart. Deception seems to be more the rule than the exception.

My elderly mother had me set up an account for her so that we could have some of her groceries delivered She has mobility issues (e.g. Uses a walker) and needs to have the person delivering groceries place them inside the apartment door. We have had two deliveries so far, and both times "Meet at Door" was selected. On her first delivery, the person delivering the items, left them outside her apartment door and did not knock. For the second delivery, additional information was provided with the order, including her buzzer code, and information related to her mobility issue and need for some assistance. This person dropped them off in her apartment lobby (see photo) and did not even buzz her.
Fortunately, a neighbor was able to bring the groceries to her.

Both times, the groceries were delivered by UBER, but that was arranged by Wal-MART.

So for both companies here's the definition of meet: come into the presence or company of (someone) by chance or arrangement.

We're currently in a 30 day free trial, but today's delivery will be the last one from Wal-mart.
