Dont do it

I just created an account for the first time tonight. Ordered around $100 worth of groceries and essentials. I added an item I forgot after the order was placed. I refreshed and it cancelled the order automatically saying return violations on a brand new account. I thought maybe it was because I added the item after so I reordered. It automatically cancelled again. Now I am down $200 with no food, essentials & no money waiting 7 days for the charge to reverse. Thanks Wal-Mart delivery! Now I get to go to bed hungry with no $#*! paper.

UPDATE: Ordered on 9/14 it has now been a week since Wal-Mart cancelled my order and has been holding on to my money. I work from home and now my internet is due so thanks for putting me behind on another bill. Never ever use this sad excuse for a service. They cancelled my order in 5 seconds but they're holding the money for over a week now? Bank cant do anything because it doesn't show Wal Mart cancelling. A big FU to Wal-Mart delivery.

Do better walmart

I'm a Walmart Delivery driver they need to do better For us delivery people we work so hard In the 100 degree weather don't get paid enough only $7 to 8 Delivery fee for 3 orders now So yes we are looking for a tip I'm Single mom This is my second job. We don't get paid hourly we do go by tips Walmart allows Customers to not tip and take away tips when it's not even our fault Especially for Pick up because the workers put it in our cars and we deliver Big orders to a customer's house And sometimes upstairs If they take the tip back They don't even have to have a reason to take it back either. It's really sad they must want people to work for free for them

Missing Items all the time!

My driver Raymond gave away my entire order to tenants September 10,2023 at 5:15 pm after putting my groceries in a filthy shopping cart he found outside. I live in a secure building and the only way in is to call me. He didn't bother to read the driver notes telling him where to meet me and didn't even call me even though he had my number. Over $160 and he just leaves when I specifically marked that I needed to sign for my order. No picture of my order was sent to me nothing because he just gave it away to strangers! Thanks Walmart!

Corrected:

The service provided was incredibly poor. I had a very bad experience previously and decided to give it another chance, but unfortunately, this time it was even worse. I'm not sure why they offer this service if they can't provide it appropriately. It's unbelievably frustrating. They delayed my delivery by 3 hours, and when I called to cancel because I wouldn't be available at that late hour, they said they couldn't accommodate that request. They insisted on sending the driver whenever they were available, and if I wasn't around, they would take the delivery back, and I would have to call the following day for a refund.

But that's not even the worst part. They sent an Uber driver with a large order but without any means to handle the delivery, like a cart. The driver expected me to come down and take the order outside the building. I live in a high-level apartment, and if I were able to carry the items myself, I wouldn't have placed an online order.

If you can, I recommend shopping in-store or don't!

This has happened a couple times now. My instructions are so clear on how to get to my apartment. Noting it is on the bottom floor, first one you come to, what number carport to park in or near to make delivering easier. Yet again tonight, the driver delivers to a whole other apartment. My notes also say I am disabled and cannot walk. So frustrating. I have to immediately remove your tip because you definitely don't deserve it. Then I have to contact customer service to get a refund and reorder. And HOPE it doesn't happen again next time.

As much as I appreciate the quick delivery Walmart does with groceries, it's sad their delivery people treat customers groceries with contempt and total disregard.
They drop groceries that are not bagged by the way littered in front door, and wont even ring door bell to alert customer as in my case. May be you are going out or have a visitor that makes you open your door, then you find out, oh i have grocery delivery. And I'm not the only one living in the building, any one could have taken or done something to my food.

It make me sad to see how my food and other baby items are just dropped, see egg on stairs not properly packed in the front door all the time.
This one deliver just this evening, the driver couldn't come ur the front door but left on the stairs. This is horrible job and I'm paying monthly for this.

1.Saw ad online for free deliveries. That was false. There was a delivery fee.
2. Invited me to choose between Sign for or leave on porch. I choose sign for so I could check out my purchase. Driver left them on porch instead, and there was a dented can.
3. I had to redo my first try at ordering to meet the minimum amount. That resulted in 2 orders: one cancelled, one delivered.Over $100 was put on hold, and is still on hold, in my bank account for a $47 order. Why couldn't they just receive $ owed, like in the store?

Walmart Delivery drivers steal, open food items, tamper with food items, and most cannot speak or read English so delivery instructions are not followed and communication is impossible. Food items are expired, orders are incomplete or belong to another customer. Food is often rotten or spoiled, items marked as 'fresh' are frozen, incorrect items are delivered, food that is supposed to be frozen arrives completely thawed, food packaging is often damaged, etc. And, if you dare submit complaints about your delivery to Walmart customer service =-- absolutely nothing is done about it, and if you make too many complaints or request refunds Walmart will deactivate your account. In 2022, Walmart's revenue was $575 BILLION yet it continues to deceive and rip off the American public. Thousands of bad reviews (with the exact same complaints) have not only been posted online, but submitted to Attorney General's offices, and with Better Business Bureaus -- yet Walmart DOES NOTHING. My suggestion? Buyer beware as Walmart should be investigated by the Board of Health.

Late Again

IN HOME deliveries are frequently late. Had to raise cane the last time to get them to dig up someone to deliver it. Same thing today except all they advised was to cancel the order. So on top of paying for a Walmart+ membership, I'm paying for an In Home membership that doesn't deliver same day & may or may not be here in the 4 hour window which they provide. Trying to figure out whether or not to sit tight for an hour or so until they get here or cancel altogether is tough because the system notifications are slim, the app doesn't provide anything additional, & getting to speak to a real person - in a foreign country - happens only after appeasing the automated system. The customer service rep couldn't even get the store on the phone. Really, Walmart? If customer service were a concern Walmart would contract with Doordash or some other delivery service to fill in when their system fails & deliver these orders at no cost to the customer. To be fair, they did give me a discount towards my next order, but that doesn't feed my family tonight.

Many issues

The Walmart+ app itself was not the best experience for me. I could never get the discount gas because the app could never connect to a pump and it's only usable through the app which sucks because I actually AM a delivery driver (that app is also faulty, was forced to deliver for free for 3 hours). Now my vehicle is out of commission so getting items delivered would be my best option but that is also a bust. My delivery driver made it to my house, placed my order into my house, and after almost 10 minutes of trying, she had to take the order back to the store because again, the faulty apps, I still got charged for delivery. And the best part… I have to wait up to 10 days to even get the hold released from my bank, need that money readily since I now have no transportation. It was NOT worth it to me, I now see why spark drivers have so many complaints.

I live in arizona my groceries have been delivered to wrong house so I decided to have some groceries shipped now thier saying attempted delivery returned to store I'm home no one attempted to deliver here what's going on I called customer service to see why it was returned no one would tell me what's going on here?

Not good for produce

Overall this is a valuable service as I am elderly, and handicapped. However, not good for produce. The shoppers just grab things. I had strawberries overripe and in a broken box so they were everywhere. I imagine this is because they are rushed but I still don't appreciate having to throw out half my fruit

Instacart fail!

I received another customers order. I never received mine and had to change my dinner plans. Can't stress enough the importance to make sure and check the bags before delivery. We use this for convenience and after a long day at work it was very disappointing. In the past I have received my items and someone else's to. Their was no way to contact the driver to tell them after delivery. Pay more attention when you drop items off! Not using again.

People might often ask you …. Which is better, Amazon, or Walmart?

I can tell you, Walmart is so bad I would never use their service again, unless it vastly improved. Amazon is so good. They've never made a mistake in 10 years that I've use them except for one time and they made it up by giving me some thing that was much more valuable than what they missed.

I had ordered food and Walmart without my permission substituted medication, …. Boil oil, designed to alleviate the harmful effects of skin boils, instead of the ingredients necessary for the food I was cooking at my brother's party.

Walmart, made a substitution and wanted to deliver decided to deliver something completely different to the fungicide I ordered. Boil oil for skin boils!

Walmart Delivery is like a joke. But they aren't funny. They make bizarre substitutions without permission and charge you for unwanted substitutions and they don't ask if they can substitute They tell you they're going to do it unless you somehow cancel. But it's extremely difficult to cancel and I wasted an hour trying to do it. This was a very busy time for me.

There's issues at Walmart, not giving you all your things aand delivering it to the wrong address or putting it on the side of your house and not telling you it had been left there …. Overcharging you or charging for items you haven't received

I don't think I've ever experienced any retail organization that was so toxic … they are like a huge cancer, whose products come at a competitive price… but when you order something to be delivered, their service hurts more than it satisfies and you pay a huge monetary penalty for being
abused

Amazon will send you something better. They don't give you a choice of take what you don't want or take nothing as Walmart does. My vote would be do not purchase from Walmart…. Use Amazon.

Walmart needs to improve. There was a time when I received a few orders that were correct and the delivery was actually early…. In my case the early delivery wasn't good because I wasn't at home on the day they delivered it. But Walmart Delivery has since turned into chaos, and nothing is right.

Through average now is 1.3 stars. I just don't understand how they can be so bad, but they are really bad. I have to worry about paying for things I didn't order. I have to worry about not receiving when I ordered and being charged, so check your bank. The nightmares of the home delivery. Being overcharged or charged for items not received. Completely unreliable on time. Substituting items without your permission and you have to change it online or they'll deliver it to you. Walmart is a nightmare and it's difficult to escape because once they are delivering you will get your money back.

Terrible!

Signed up for a 1 month trial of Walmart grocery delivery. 1st two orders went well. 3rd order was missing half of my order & they had to send a 2nd driver. 4th order not recieved AT ALL. It's marked as delivered in my Walmart app & my credit card was charged $155.53. Do not recommend!

A few years ago this was the way to go. Ordering was easy, items arrived in tack and if there was any issues Walmart quickly took care of it. Not so much now for the last 6 deliveries, the all had to be canceled. 10pm still waiting on a delivery all to find out it sends a message canceled per customer request! I did not cancel the order. I even reordered the sane items for the next day and still got a "Sorry your order is delayed " if you can find delivery drivers then just stop the service!

Estimated delivery date & time always wrong. Tracking is unreliable. Orders not delivered as promised, & are always delivered in pieces over a period of many days. Terrible experience!

Waste of time

I know this delivery/ order on-line works for most but I have had nothing but headaches. I think it's crap that some people get free delivery while others DO NOT! Free delivery? When? This app is a waste of time seriously. I will take my shopping elsewhere thank you
