The prices are good, however, their page on which to order groceries is extremely confusing and when you call to correct something you get the Philippines and the reps left me on hold for so long I tried hanging up and calling back but the same thing happened again and again. When I called the third time and asked for a supervisor the rep put me on hold for so long and did the same thing. Not worth the aggravation
This is for the Walmart grocery store on University in Denton Texas. When you have food delivered they actually do it to another service just like doordash. So you get somebody who doesn't know where you live. They have no mapping skills or able to follow GPS. I'm not dogging anybody for not speaking English but it's really hard when they can't speak one word and you're trying to call them on the phone cuz you're watching them going circles unable to find you. My experiences have not been good
Had been using Walmart+ membership with few (maybe occasional minor) problems... That all changed 21 July when I tried to have groceries delivered to my mom's house for dinner. Waiting 2 hours for delayed delivery which never came (to find out that no driver was going to deliver at all)... Next attempt to order on 23 July (back home in SoCal this time) was also marked with a 2 hours delay and never delivered. Strike 3 - Expedite of the 23rd order resulted in 2 hours waiting only to find again that no driver was issued.
Really disappointed with the lack of information and the inability for them to address the service.
Important items did not show up and the substitution feature on the app did not really help. One item in particular was available for months and months via pickup, but now all of a sudden it was unavailable via delivery and no substitution opportunity was given. I would like to know why things seem available when you're picking up, but unavailable when you're getting delivery. Already unhappy I signed up.
I spent 2 hours today between an online chat with a Walmart rep and trying to call the store and the 1-800 number about my order that was not delivered.
Walmart had sent me an email that the order was delayed but it would be delivered in less than 2 hours.
When 2 hours came and went, I went to the help options about my order, and it took me to an online chat. We chatted online for over an hour only to find out there was nothing he could do except to tell me that my order contents had gotten spoiled in someone's car, so they were returned to the store by the driver.
He was not able to intervene with the store to find out when the items would be delivered. Neither he nor I were able to cancel the order online either. I wanted to cancel it and reorder for express delivery but have the $10 fee waived since the order was by then about 3-4 hours late.
So I tried calling the local store to talk with a person in their pickup and delivery depth. The phone just rang for several minutes and then cut me off. I tried again, and the same thing happened.
I finally called again and pressed 0 to reach the store operator. She said that everyone in the pickup and delivery dept had gone home, and she had no way to find out what they were doing with my order. But she highly recommended that I call the 1-800 number to register a complaint because the team all left to go home without letting me know when or if they planned to deliver the order.
So I called the 1-800 number and the person there just repeated what the online chat rep told me about 2 hours earlier, that they ruined my order. But she had no idea what their plans were. She suggested that I cancel the order and reorder as express delivery, paying $10 which would not be refunded. I told her that I wasn't able to cancel the order online and that since the entire dept had left the store by at the latest 5 PM, I couldn't get express delivery anyway.
I told her that I had been encouraged to call them to register a complaint about the poor customer service and communication by my local store. She did send me a $25 off coupon on another order.
Now after waiting at home all afternoon for this delivery, it might be delivered tomorrow or it might not be. So I will probably have to stay home all or most of tomorrow too, waiting for an order that might or might not come.
When their deliveries are done correctly, it's fine. But about one in every 5 to 10 deliveries gets really messed up, order not delivered and no communication, delivered to some other address and not knowing where, or the wrong order sent to me and my order sent to someone else.
I will never order groceries online again! Something is always missing and this last time I ordered 260.00 dollars worth of groceries plus paid 20 extra dollars to have them expressed delivered. I never received my order and now I have to wait on my money to be put back on my card. Mind you I do live pay check to pay check and that was all I had till the following Friday. All I was told was to wait for it! Tell my children that!
ORDERED GROGERIES ONLINE FROM WALMART JULY 12,2023 B-I-G MISTAKE! NO CALL WHEN THEY ARRIVED WITH GROCERIES! BAGS BROKE AT BOTTOMS OF BAGS WHEN I PICKED THEM UP TO BRING INSIDE! DID NOT DOUBLE BAG THE ONES WITH HEAVY JARS & CANS INSIDE? ALL OF MY BAGS WERE THROWN ON STEP! DENTED BOXES, GLASS JARS COMING OUT OF SPILT, BROKEN BAGS! CALLED STORE WHERE THIS ORDER CAME FROM NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE THERE! I THEN CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE ONLY GET FOREIGN COUNTRIES ON THE PHONE WHO PUT YOU ON HOLD REPEATEDLY! YOU WILL (NEVER) GET ANYONE IN THE (USA)! ON THE PHONE! THERE IS NO WAY TO CANCEL MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP ONLINE? THERE ARE ONLY ( 2) OPTIONS THERE WHICH IS THE YEARLY CHARGE OR MONTHLY CHARGE? NO OPTION THERE TO CANCEL THE MEMBERSHIP AT ALL SO YOU HAVE TO CALL TO CANCEL & BE PUT ON HOLD AGAIN! I AM (NEVER)! SHOPPING WITH WALMART AGAIN NO MATTER IF IT'S ONLINE OR IN STORE FOR ANYTHING! Order of grocery list was not delivered today July 14,2023 because no one delivered the order. The order was supposed to be delivered around 9am this morning and wasn't. We've never had this issue in addition to food stamps and money not being put back on my cards both bank card and food stamp card this morning. Called Walmart more than once towards getting money and food stamps back. Supposedly it takes 3 hours for the food stamps to get back on my card and 3-10 business days for funds to return. Thinking about other grocery stores who do I can do online grocery shopping with.
The first couple times I ordered, I received my order and everything was fine (except they always want to substitute items and when I shopped at the store they always had them in stock. But anyway, today, the driver delivers the wrong groceries. I mean, really, you can't check the address and name? This is obviously irresponsible people. I know people make mistakes, but good grief. I called customer service and was told I would have to get a refund and start over. First they said it would be 7-10 days before I could get my refund. What? After I complained, she managed to get the money in my account right away. Why didn't they do that in the first place? However, I haven't gotten the tip back. Walmart needs to reimburse me the tip because I didn't receive my order. And someone else out there didn't receive theirs because I have it. Walmart told me they couldn't take it back and to just use what I could and dispose of what I didn't want.
They taKe your link off and your card even if the delivery falls through! Her car is broke! Then tell her 5-7 days to get her link back! People on link are struggling and the kids cant wait 5-7 days to eat!
Ordered grocery for delivery on 7/7/ 23 between the hours of 5 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. delivery updates states its on the way, soon after if was cancelled. With no update other than delayed. Following morning, situation was not resolved... I had to cancelled my order and then wait up to 10 days for my bank to release the hold on my card. Walmart needs to pay attention to customer service or services offer. Being it was my first time using this service, I have to say it is a horrible experience with no one to answer the phone at the store in order to resolved the issue... I am disappointed and is very unhappy.
Will not be shopping there anymore.

Walmart delivery is good unless they mess up. They did not deliver my order so cancelled it without my requesting a cancellation. Then tried to refund $30 less than I paid. Told me to reorder but I can't until I get the money back which could take 10 days
My local Walmart's grocery delivery experience for the last several months -- all fruit and vegetables are rotten, moldy and spoiled. All of them. Bright yellow bananas smashed on the inside. Apples completely bruised on the inside and mushy spots on the peel, like if they're dropped, thrown or covered in other things. Raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and strawberries actively growing mold. Rock hard limes, squishy and dried up oranges. Smashed bread. "Want to return them? Bring them to us." If I could run to the grocery store I wouldn't have set up delivery. It's like management has been instructed to use produce and dairy that's being tossed out due to spoilage and expiration. Sitting in the back of the store unrefrigerated. Milk completely sours and spoils and sometimes becomes chunky in just a few days. I'm talking like four or five days. "Don't have your primary choice? No worries! We might stick something else in there." The deliveries were getting so ridiculous I chose specific substitutions, but the order pullers literally just throw something in, like there's no guidelines for the substitutions. Sometimes, they don't even do that - they just say nothing is available. It doesn't matter when you schedule an order; at least twice a month I'm told they need to be "scheduled at a more convenient time," even days later. Also, at least once a month, when I'm told they have no stock and I physically go to the store - they are completely full with gorgeous looking fresh produce... really? A few times a month I'm given the notification that "This item cannot be delivered to this zip code...?" That's funny, you delivered it to me for six months before today. I have also had to change several items I choose due to Walmart sliding them right on into the "three-day shipping only." Which I probably wouldn't mind so much, except Walmart charges state and local taxes for shipping. No shipping charges, just really high taxes. And I'm a tax-exempt customer, so I don't understand that part. I guess that only applies to local retail.
I have been ordering from wallmart deliver religiously for over a year now sometimes 3 x a week. I always get 2h express and they are not consistent. Today my 2h express order that I payed extra for is not here yet and it has been almost 2 and a half hours. Why am I buying a service that is not reliable. I called the customer service they are not helpful at all. Said that it was suppose to be delivered at 3:30 to 430...telling me it hasn't been 2 hours. I know when I ordered my groceries.so does the app. Disappointed to say the least. The last month it has been horrible. Rotten bananas for 47 cents each a full flat of eggs every one broken. Mind blowing
I ordered several items from the online Walmart store, especially heavy items like cans and soaps as I don't own a car and the closest Walmart is still so far from my home. However, Almost 40% of my items have been cancelled when the processing my order. When I received the delivery, another 20% of my order was missing :) I felt like there was no point for me to pay the delivery fee for them to ship to my home as I almost got nothing... Even the item shipped to my home were wrong (I have unchecked the allow substitution box). Feel like being scammed, paid an order with around $200 with $6 shipping fee, after all such refund and cancellation, there was only 40% of items delivered and they don't even the main purpose for me to make an online order.
Trying to contact their chat support, the first agent transfer me to another agent after just saying Hi, and the second agent just kicked me out from the chat after saying Hi again. And there have no place for me to provide feedback to them. It's not the first time I ordered with them, but every time they will give you some "unexpected incidents". NEVER order Walmart online delivery again.
My work is running a food drive for refugees and Azir was extremely helpful with his deliver of heavy food stuff!
It took us 24 hours to get what we ordered, and they were out of Ice Cream are you kidding me. We ordered at 3 in the afternoon to get a delivery at 9pm. Came 9PM and no show delayed. 10pm delayed the store closed at 11 where was our order. I had to go into chat and put in down for the next day. She told me we would get the order by 10am. 10am came around and at 10:55 we are sorry your order is delayed you won't get your order until 6 pm to 7pm. Well both times came and went delayed 8 PM came and nothing. Then at 9 pm order is on the way. Finally got the order and the ground beef was hot. Would you like a new ground beef or a refund. Got a refund. How can you deliver ground beef not frozen. The delivery couple were really nice they told us that there are not enough drivers so nobody will get their order on time. Real nice.
1-Delivered to my neighbors.
2-Delivered to? Not my address, not even my street.
3-Items missing that were on the invoice.
4-Frozen items completely melted/delivered at room temperature.
5-Left on the steps of my porch, not on the porch, on the steps in full view of a busy street.
6-When Walmart takes your funds for your purchase and they cancel your order right before the expected delivery time, without explanation forcing me to reorder, the payment for the order Walmart cancelled is not refunded for up to 10 days. If you don't have the money for the re-order, you are out of luck.
Due to missing food, I am no longer going to use Walmart delivery. I am disabled and depend on that service. Today my Walmart delivery order was missing some important food items, presumably given to someone else, since I have received other people's orders on many occasions. Right now money is really tight so that food was carefully budgeted and is needed. Walmart will issue a refund, but that takes up to 10 days, and I need to replace the items asap. This store is incompetent and I'll no longer be a delivery customer.
Not up to 10 business days but a full 10 days. I have called and chatted with AI bots and to no avail.
THE REFUND POLICY OF TAKING A FULL 10 BUSINESS DAYS TO RETURN IF YOU CANCEL A PICK UP ORDER SHOULD BE DISCLOSED IN WRITING AT THE MOMENT YOU ENTER THE PURCHASE CART.
I think this is a good class action suit just waiting to happen.

Answer: Non existent. You get a refund - no redelivery when they screw up. Worthless.

Answer: Exactly. That was my issue as well. It's very annoying and not very good customer service.
