I picked up the car at the airport in Preveza, and there was a delay in completing the process. This happened several years ago, and I haven't made a booking with you since because of that experience. I hope this time my experience will be better.

First time using Green Motion was extremely easy and very good service. Will be using this service on all my travel to NSW.
The head staff london city branch was bit rude. He needs to get proper training. And drop-of time needs to be more flexible. If it would be 24hrs same like sixth. It would be better.

Nice service, easy pick up and even easier drop off. Cleaning is 20€ wich is totally fine for the sometimes dusty roads and even more comfort at the end of the journey. To cross the border there is a fixed fee, wich isn't worth it for like a day or two, but okay to do a weekend-trip.

I collected a Kia Sportage from Edinburgh Waverley Station, the pickup and drop off was extremely fast and efficient, the car was in excellent condition, I took it with the premium plan which is a bit expensive.

Staff were very helpful & informative. Car performed well. Would advise to take out higher insurance offered as we saw other vehicles with bad external damage on our travels that would not have been covered with basic insurance. Return of car was seamless. Overall a good experience

Answer: DON'T do it. They advertise low and sting you at the counter! Clerks hard sell additional insurance (they get a commission). In Glasgow, Scotland this last August, they tried to get me to pay $800 in insurance to cover a ten day rental that was about $35 a day! Many people have posted about scams where they charged unsuspecting customers for "damages" that were already on the car but the customer may not notice, like a tiny chip in the windshield or a small scratch on the door edge.
Answer: Speeding/parking tickets and police action are slow. They keep the deposit until they are sure there will be no problems with any of those costs. (and yeah, would be speeding fine + massive green motion fee).

I can confirm that security deposits are automatically released by Green Motion on the last day of your rental after it has been established that the rental vehicle has been returned in the same condition as it was provided, and there are no further outstanding charges. Whilst in most cases this is available again within 10 working days, unfortunately, this can take up to 30 days depending on the bank that you use. We suggest that you contact your bank as they may be able to speed this process up for you. Green Motion's policy is to use pre-authorised transactions for our security deposits, which ring-fence the amount within your account, not charge it. This pre-authorised transaction will allow us to make charges if necessary at the end of the rental, but unless this occurs no money will leave your account. Due to the nature of this transaction, the release of these funds may not show on your bank statement as a separate transaction. If you believe that you have been charged your security deposit, please contact your bank and ask them to provide proof of the transaction as a charge on the first day of your rental so that we can look further into this for you. If this amount is still not available in your account after 30 days from the last day of your rental, please contact us at [email protected]. Answer: I believe Green Motion are a perfectly fair and respectful company. I suspect you didn't read their Ts&Cs properly. The two customers being served while I was collecting my car had also not read/understood the conditions and were caught by surprise. The representative dealt with them firmly but fairly.
