The car was inexpensive, staff were helpful and the process was very smooth.
Make sure you are familiar with the terms and conditions of hire, it will make for a smoother process and prevent issues

I have requested invoice for the service I had 2 months ago and invoice is still not provided.
I have called their customer service phone number and the automated message said they have many calls and I should send an email. They just hung up the phone after that. So support over the phone is zero.
Sent them 3 emails asking for the invoice, never provided.

I'm very disappointed with my refund experience at Green Motion. It's been over five weeks since I returned the vehicle, and I still haven't received any information regarding my refund. Despite multiple follow-ups, communication has been poor and there's been no clear update or resolution. I expected much better customer service and transparency. This experience has made me hesitant to book with Green Motion again in the future.

I booked with GreenMotion two times now. They have pretty new cars for very nice prices. I never had any issue with my booking or with getting the car. The people are nice. Maybe the only very minor negative point: the Yaris Cross feels like a downgrade from the booked Golf 'or similar'.

A plastic piece broke under the front bumper. Even though I had full protection, they charged me ******* TL. They said that the limit of full protection is 9000, if the damage exceeds 9000, the insurance does not pay anything and I have to pay the entire damage.

Answer: DON'T do it. They advertise low and sting you at the counter! Clerks hard sell additional insurance (they get a commission). In Glasgow, Scotland this last August, they tried to get me to pay $800 in insurance to cover a ten day rental that was about $35 a day! Many people have posted about scams where they charged unsuspecting customers for "damages" that were already on the car but the customer may not notice, like a tiny chip in the windshield or a small scratch on the door edge.
Answer: Speeding/parking tickets and police action are slow. They keep the deposit until they are sure there will be no problems with any of those costs. (and yeah, would be speeding fine + massive green motion fee).

I can confirm that security deposits are automatically released by Green Motion on the last day of your rental after it has been established that the rental vehicle has been returned in the same condition as it was provided, and there are no further outstanding charges. Whilst in most cases this is available again within 10 working days, unfortunately, this can take up to 30 days depending on the bank that you use. We suggest that you contact your bank as they may be able to speed this process up for you. Green Motion's policy is to use pre-authorised transactions for our security deposits, which ring-fence the amount within your account, not charge it. This pre-authorised transaction will allow us to make charges if necessary at the end of the rental, but unless this occurs no money will leave your account. Due to the nature of this transaction, the release of these funds may not show on your bank statement as a separate transaction. If you believe that you have been charged your security deposit, please contact your bank and ask them to provide proof of the transaction as a charge on the first day of your rental so that we can look further into this for you. If this amount is still not available in your account after 30 days from the last day of your rental, please contact us at [email protected]. Answer: I believe Green Motion are a perfectly fair and respectful company. I suspect you didn't read their Ts&Cs properly. The two customers being served while I was collecting my car had also not read/understood the conditions and were caught by surprise. The representative dealt with them firmly but fairly.
