A plastic piece broke under the front bumper. Even though I had full protection, they charged me ******* TL. They said that the limit of full protection is 9000, if the damage exceeds 9000, the insurance does not pay anything and I have to pay the entire damage.
Our car was ready on time with no queue and filling out the paperwork took 5 minutes. There were no attempts to sell us unnecessary insurance and we were ready to go. There car was in excellent condition and the staff answered our questions about the car and the road out easily. The return process was equally straightforward and the minibus back to the airport was waiting for us straightaway. I couldn't recommend the hirecar company more highly.

Nice experience. The initial car had some driving issues and it was changed wolith a similar car. Both cars had 100.000 KMs and were pretty used and had to inflate the tyres, but the personnel made up on all these issues being receptive.

Got the car and wasn't 2 miles down the road and a nail it the tyre that was there from previous renters and not able to get aa assist for 3 hours so wasn't nice, may be check the tyres before you give the car out plus the petrol light came on straight away so had to look for a petrol station while not knowing the area, wasn't happy about that

I had no issues finding my car despite you guys not having offices on my arrival. Y r only issue was on the day of my departure I could not find your area to give back the car. Had it not been for the kindness of the security officer, I would've been very frustrated. Also, I'm still waiting for the deposit I made for holding the car.

Answer: DON'T do it. They advertise low and sting you at the counter! Clerks hard sell additional insurance (they get a commission). In Glasgow, Scotland this last August, they tried to get me to pay $800 in insurance to cover a ten day rental that was about $35 a day! Many people have posted about scams where they charged unsuspecting customers for "damages" that were already on the car but the customer may not notice, like a tiny chip in the windshield or a small scratch on the door edge.
Answer: Speeding/parking tickets and police action are slow. They keep the deposit until they are sure there will be no problems with any of those costs. (and yeah, would be speeding fine + massive green motion fee).

I can confirm that security deposits are automatically released by Green Motion on the last day of your rental after it has been established that the rental vehicle has been returned in the same condition as it was provided, and there are no further outstanding charges. Whilst in most cases this is available again within 10 working days, unfortunately, this can take up to 30 days depending on the bank that you use. We suggest that you contact your bank as they may be able to speed this process up for you. Green Motion's policy is to use pre-authorised transactions for our security deposits, which ring-fence the amount within your account, not charge it. This pre-authorised transaction will allow us to make charges if necessary at the end of the rental, but unless this occurs no money will leave your account. Due to the nature of this transaction, the release of these funds may not show on your bank statement as a separate transaction. If you believe that you have been charged your security deposit, please contact your bank and ask them to provide proof of the transaction as a charge on the first day of your rental so that we can look further into this for you. If this amount is still not available in your account after 30 days from the last day of your rental, please contact us at [email protected]. Answer: I believe Green Motion are a perfectly fair and respectful company. I suspect you didn't read their Ts&Cs properly. The two customers being served while I was collecting my car had also not read/understood the conditions and were caught by surprise. The representative dealt with them firmly but fairly.
Answer: They are robbers and scammers, never think to rent a car from green motion, they will charge you thousands of euros, instead buy a new car
