My first delivery somehow was delivered to the wrong address. I never did get it.
However, another order was initiated and yhat went smoothly. Happy with the glasses.
Ordered new glasses with photochromic treatment. Arrived 6 days late with no photochrome. Paid $69 for this treatment. After several complaint emails, they sent me a new pair. 3 weeks later an identical pair showed up- no photochrome. I complained by email, did a live chat with A.I. Now will not answer emails. Forget calling them, they do not have a customer service dept. Found out they are in Israel. I got screwed. Do not recommend buying ANYTHING from glasses 'usa'
Got what I ordered which is important to me. Thanks great job. Will order from again will not review again becouse I have to have more characters than what I had to say lol
I would like to see you add a "Special Request" section in case an adjustment needs to be added to the lenses.
I tried to have an original pair of glasses remade on a 20/20 remake. Scratches and prescription change.
Their tint selections and options are limited. Example most other sites offer photo chromatic lenses in Sunglasses. Glasses USA does not. They offer a range of tints, Gradients and personalized tint. The first problem is the tinting talks about % tint. There is no transition to VLT. What is a 50% tint. Well turns out that is very dark.
I am suffering through a second remake and each time I am forced to go to a different frame as the original frame is not in stock. Not sure why they cannot simply remake lenses and reuse frame.
First remake way to dark second remake I opted for a gradient and ended up with slight tint to clear versus the advertised 80% to 20%.
In summary if you have a standard prescription and just pick a standard tint you will likely be ok. Otherwise results are inconsistent and you cannot talk to a real person about how you get a problem corrected. Their email address sends you back a form letter saying the email is not monitored, directs you to a bot, and a very formal return process. In summary there are better options for online ordering that offer superior support and results at similar pricing with better options.
They do offer designer frames, competitive pricing and mostly honor their published policy. Options are limited compared to others and human touch is non existent. Frustrating when you send an email with photos and questions and order number and get directed to a Bot.

GlassesUSA might have the worst customer service I've ever experience. On multiple occasions they didn't help, they left live chats abruptly without any resolution. They got my order wrong - I would recommend a different service

I'm extremely picky about frames, so I was skeptical when I ordered prescription sunglasses from GlassesUSA earlier this year. I purchased glasses from this low life company, returned them following their policy, then received no credit, and zero communication from their so called "customer service". This necessitated disputing the charge on my credit card. Luckily my credit card company stood behind me but I the company stole my insurance money and I am now disputing that also. If you are interested in buying form these thieves, understand that there is no customer service as they only use bots to guide you through a never-ending maze of circular questions leading back to the eventual silence from the company. PLEASE - DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, LOOK FOR ANOTHER COMPANY IF YOU NEED GLASSES. THIS IS NOT THE COMPANY TO WORK WITH.

So I ordered glasses (single focal, nothing fancy) and, based on an expected six day production window and the additional delivery time, expected my new glasses in good time. After 11 buisness days, I did not have a tracking number to indicate that my glasses were on their way. Now I'm not desperate for these glasses but I was concerned about notification of delivery. This is my issue: the lack of response from the firm. The chat window is pretty much useless. I will try to reach out again but, if unsuccessful, I will contact my bank and cancel my order. In the meantime I've received five emails from glassesUSA advertising offers and deals. I'd like them to put more effort into delivering what I've paid for.

It's not very user friendly even for mobile viewing. The try online isn't smooth. I was using an older iPad at first and then switched to my iPhone 11 and at some points it wouldn't even open. Trying to view the frames were hard to do. The website was getting me very frustrated. It's taking me over 4 hours to finally buy my glasses.

Eyeglasses are of good quality. Shipping was delayed, however, it wasn't too long. It is very frustrating that I could not find a way to speak to a live agent about shipping concerns. This will probably deter me from ordering again.

But then they take 5 business days to deliver by USPS and I couldn't get any further info from them online from the third day on. They blame the carrier which they picked

They are not good! Have you tried getting in touch with customer service? Buyer beware! Everything runs in a loop. Send an email and you'll receive a message that it's not a monitored email. You will not be able to get anything resolved. Horrible! I paid for 3-5 day service, my glasses haven't arrived yet, and I can even get that portion of my money back. Stay away! Online chat, no luck, it will only answer questions it has already preselected! Stay away!

Answer: I got the same B. S. handed to me. After more than double the stated time and lack of response, I cancelled my order and notified my credit card company.

Answer: Our production times vary between each prescription and lens type we produce. By far our glasses are produced and delivered before the times stated in our shipping policy. In some cases, unfortunately, glasses might not pass quality assurance, which means they need to be remade. This unfortunately means that we have to start again from scratch, but as a rule we do not send out any glasses that did not meet our quality standards. Shipping times are unfortunately mostly beyond our control as we depend upon our carriers to deliver the products in a timely manner. Our delivery department works toe to toe with all of our carriers to make sure our glasses are delivered as promptly as possible. We also offer a variety of shipping options that ensure a faster delivery for any interested customers, but our customers need to keep in mind shipping times do not include production time. Answer: I ordered a pair on 3rd Nov and was still waiting on 20 Nov. I canceled them On the 21st. A rep called and convinced me to give them a second chance...big mistake. I gave them a second shot and resubmitted the order on the 21st. The rep assured me that the glasses would be shipped in 6 days. Taking into account Thanksgiving the glasses should have be shipped on the 30th but they were still in production and, again no real customer service. I canceled and drove to America's Best. In 15 minutes I ordered glasses and they were $30.00 less than glassesusa. I don't recommend that company.
