I ordered a pair of glasses and selected standard shipping. Everything was going well in the beginning with the tracking stating that my glasses were sent to production. It says on there that this should take about 3 business days. Over a week goes by when I receive an email stating that circumstances out of their control have delayed the production of my glasses and sorry for the delay and that it was almost done and would be shipped out in the next 6 business days. They did send me a coupon for my next pair of glasses as a token of their appreciation. After about another week and receiving zero updates, the tracking still had my glasses "in production", I sent an email requesting that they upgrade my order to expedited shipping since we have exceeded the standard shipping time at this point. I received an email the following day saying once again sorry for the delay and that they would upgrade to expedited shipping. That same day I receive an update to my order stating that my order was "sent to production" once again saying that it would take about 3 business days to complete. This is now over two weeks from my order date. This also made me believe that had I not emailed them, my order would not have been completed. Nearly a month after my initial order date, I finally received my glasses. I will say that customer support was always prompt in responding to my questions and very respectful and kind.

Glasses have not made it out of production in 5 business days. They are only single vision lenses. No email updates from customer service. No phone answers. And chats are disconnected when ever they want.

I purchased three pairs of glasses.
Poor Quality
One pair had the screw fall out within the first 30 days, but I found the screw and put it back in. Only for it to come out two more times within the next 30 days. I contacted the GlassesUSA, and because it was not within the first 30 days, they gave me store credit. My second pair of the three glasses from my initial purchase broke. So, I had to take the glasses to my eye doctor to have them fixed, so I could work. (Can't see without my computer glasses.) Now they are loose but staying on my face. The replacement pair that GlassesUSA shipped out has been misshipped, so, I still don't have those. Aside from the poor quality...
Poor Customer Service
You cannot SPEAK to a live person. You have to go through the chat. So, after going through rounds of messages that are automated while the computer tries to figure out what I really need, when what I really need is to TALK to a live person, I am finally able to find out, after making it through several rounds of the same message, how to have a live chat with an agent online. But never was I able to speak to a live person by phone.
Additionally, I still don't have my glasses. Have no idea where they are. Somewhere in my city. They were supposed to be delivered on Friday. It is now Tuesday and the agent online was going to have to order me a replacement. I told her I didn't want another replacement because I never wanted to purchase from GlassesUSA again, just give me a full refund! To which she replied, she could not. I would have to take store credit.
Don't order from this company if you want to be satisfied with your eyeglass purchase.

It is important to keep the frame size in mind when looking for a new pair of glasses. You can determine the size you need by checking the size of the glasses you are currently wearing.
To locate the dimensions of your existing frames, you can check the inside of the temples (or arms) for a set of three numbers. Please check out our video describing how to read the dimensions printed on your frame.

When you have determined the dimensions of your current frames, you will be able to compare them to the measurements listed under each frame’s product description. Please note that when comparing your dimensions to those on the website, the temple amount should remain about the same. However, the Lens Width and the Bridge amount can be within two millimeters above or below your current measurements. Each frame on the website comes in the one size listed.
To ensure that you will receive a pair of glasses that will work well for you, we also recommend you verify your PD (Pupillary Distance) as most optometrists do not provide this information on the prescription. You can measure your PD easily by placing a ruler on the bridge of your nose and measuring the distance between your pupils in millimeters. My first order I had to cancel as after 14 days there were still stuck in production with no idea what issue was, I then ordered another pair of prescription sunglasses. They arrived in a different color and the script card inside does not match my script. Will not be ordering anything from glassesusa again.

As stated on our site and at the time of purchase, our typical production time is as follows:
Single vision (general use/near vision): approximately 2-4 business days
Multifocal / bifocal / tinted lenses / polycarbonate lenses: approximately 6 business days
Shipping can take between 5-10 business days, depending on the Courier:
Standard (free): up to 7-10 business days
Expedited (additional fee): up to 5-7 business days
Express (additional fee): up to 3-5 business days
Once the order has left our facilities, we rely on the courier service for all additional details on the status of your shipment. However, if any delay, error, or incident occurs, we will do everything we can to resolve it and get your order to you as soon as possible.

I ordered 2 pairs of glasses on 1/19/23 and did not receive them until 2/10/23 which was far past their estimated delivery of 5-7 days It took me using the chat log (you can't get an agent on the phone unless you lie and say that you're placing an order) multiple times to ask where they were but I never did get a straight answer. Then in July, I noticed that the tinting was pealing off the sunglasses, when I used the chat log they gave me the run around about the warranty and after waiting days for them to get back to me they offered me a coupon for 25% of the original cost. They refused to replace, fix, or take them back and told me the 365-day warranty was only for a 50% discount but still only offered me 25%. It all felt very sketchy and was impossible to get a real answer.

Answer: So far it's been a month and still NO glasses, or tracking info. Much longer than the seven to ten buisness days- in Still waiting.
Answer: I got the same B. S. handed to me. After more than double the stated time and lack of response, I cancelled my order and notified my credit card company.

Answer: Dealing with them right now and thats a NO. Horrible customer service and they will loop hole you to no end so that they dont have to give you a refund on their product that does not work. My eyes literally work better without their glasses on my face.
Answer: Our production times vary between each prescription and lens type we produce. By far our glasses are produced and delivered before the times stated in our shipping policy. In some cases, unfortunately, glasses might not pass quality assurance, which means they need to be remade. This unfortunately means that we have to start again from scratch, but as a rule we do not send out any glasses that did not meet our quality standards. Shipping times are unfortunately mostly beyond our control as we depend upon our carriers to deliver the products in a timely manner. Our delivery department works toe to toe with all of our carriers to make sure our glasses are delivered as promptly as possible. We also offer a variety of shipping options that ensure a faster delivery for any interested customers, but our customers need to keep in mind shipping times do not include production time. Our customer service is available by phone, email, chat and social media around the clock, 24\7. We can be easily reached at any time, including weekends and holidays at all times to answer any questions and concerns. Our dedicated customer service team works around the clock to make sure any and all issues are taken care of. We are always working on improving all of the above, whether by opening new facilities, working and negotiating our agreements with carriers or expanding our customer service team and making them more efficient. Answer: I ordered a pair on 3rd Nov and was still waiting on 20 Nov. I canceled them On the 21st. A rep called and convinced me to give them a second chance...big mistake. I gave them a second shot and resubmitted the order on the 21st. The rep assured me that the glasses would be shipped in 6 days. Taking into account Thanksgiving the glasses should have be shipped on the 30th but they were still in production and, again no real customer service. I canceled and drove to America's Best. In 15 minutes I ordered glasses and they were $30.00 less than glassesusa. I don't recommend that company.
