Very easy selection, except it was not obvious that frames did not come in all sizes. No point in paying for expedited shipping; glasses still took more than a week after production to arrive at my door. The glasses, once here, are well made and correct.
The website says to allow 6 business days to make the glasses - mine took 15 business days. I ordered them for a ski vacation and they arrived after it was over - dissappointing.
Both lenses have an unsightly number inscribed in the upper corner. The tortoise shell frames have, not discreet, if not unsightly,clear plastic nose pieces.The overall appearance lacks elegance which perhaps should not be expected at a bargain price, as any buyer must remember. You get what you pay for.

Thi is the 3rd time I ordered from Glasses USA. The first time my prescription glasses were delayed and no pausable reason given which got me upset but I let it go. The glasses were good so I decided to give another shot. Glasses came with no delay. So I decided to purchase my husband's prescription glasses through them expecting the glasses no come in a decent timing. I have placed the order on January 14 and I have yet to receive the glasses. I've called twice with no results or explanation of why such a delay. I have received an email on 01/29/24 "We're writing to inform you that due to circumstances beyond our control, the production of your order #1002xxxxx was delayed." Lesson learned, never again.

I gave up on this sorry-$#*! company because their self-satisfied automated system does now allow for contact with a live person. I had my glasses all picked out and ready to go but I canceled the order because the question I had was NOT dealt with in their stupid labyrinth of options. These people are going to find their coffers empty if they don't wise up.

I needed curved glasses to fit under ski goggles on short notice for a trip. They arrived in time and worked great. My vision was clear, and the frames appear to be robust. On the mildly negative side, I had 2 gripes: 1) Despite being asked for my frame measurements, it was not crystal clear to a first-time customer that there are only small/medium/large frame sizes offered. A medium size was suggested, but in my judgement the dimensions of the small frame were a better match and this is what I ordered. 2) The total turn time was vague. Estimated shipping times were provided, but not the in-house processing time before shipment. I was thus not sure if my glasses would arrive in time.
I'm sure there are many happy customers but my experience ordering progressive lenses from GlassesUSA has been less than stellar.
The PD on the first pair was not to the prescription. I have not verified the 2nd pair I've received yet, but I'm having trouble seeing out of them also. One more try and I guess I'll have to go back to my overpriced optometrist...

To ensure that you will receive a pair of glasses that will work well for you, we also recommend you verify your PD (Pupillary Distance) as most optometrists do not provide this information on the prescription. You can measure your PD easily by placing a ruler on the bridge of your nose and measuring the distance between your pupils in millimeters. I was charged immediately for my glasses and received an email that they were in production the next day and it would take approximately 6 business days to produce. No glasses and no updates from company until January 17 (9 business days after taking my money) when I received an email stating that due to circumstances beyond their control, production of my glasses had been delayed. So they were NOT in production when they had told me they were. I'm guessing they didn't even have the frames in stock since so much time had passed. Email also stated they would be shipping in 3 to 6 business days but I decided to contact customer service after 3 business days since I no longer trust this company. Very pleasant & helpful rep was able to almost adequately resolve my problem but would not tell me exactly why they had taken my money on January 4 and stated that my glasses were in production when in fact they were not. He told me that he was expediting my glasses to production (so they were still NOT in production at this point) and providing priority and express shipping at no extra cost to me (yay!). Glasses were shipped the next day (super!) but I did not receive them until a week later. They were sent by USPS snail mail, no priority shipping, no express shipping. I will never purchase from this company again.

This is another company which focused on procustion fake reviews, to increase a sell.
Most of the 5 star reviewers, what a surprise! - has posted only ONE review. Bots of fake accounts in action. Need to read the real person reviews to get some info about this business and extremely low quality of their services.
So, since they are focused on that, there is no time for the real customer support.
Facts: order has not been shipped 16 days after placing date. Chat: arrogant person closed chat in the middle of conversation, after several templates posted. Better experience with their bot, which at least not considered you as an idiot. Need to open chargeback to get my money back

I ordered my glasses in less than 5 minutes and they arrived in about 2 weeks. Super simple process and with my correct prescription.
I bought two pair of reading glasses and was pleasantly surprised by the great price compared to my optometrist office -- about 1/3 the price. The frames are good quality too. The only reason for providing 4 stars verses 5 is that the lenses, while good, seem to change the focus just a little. I think because I chose the regular lenses verses the upgrade to polycarbonate. In hindsight I wish I would've paid the additional charge for the thinner polycarbonate. Otherwise, very happy with my new glasses... and highly recommend GlassesUSA. Thanks, Jim

Answer: I got the same B. S. handed to me. After more than double the stated time and lack of response, I cancelled my order and notified my credit card company.

Answer: Our production times vary between each prescription and lens type we produce. By far our glasses are produced and delivered before the times stated in our shipping policy. In some cases, unfortunately, glasses might not pass quality assurance, which means they need to be remade. This unfortunately means that we have to start again from scratch, but as a rule we do not send out any glasses that did not meet our quality standards. Shipping times are unfortunately mostly beyond our control as we depend upon our carriers to deliver the products in a timely manner. Our delivery department works toe to toe with all of our carriers to make sure our glasses are delivered as promptly as possible. We also offer a variety of shipping options that ensure a faster delivery for any interested customers, but our customers need to keep in mind shipping times do not include production time. Our customer service is available by phone, email, chat and social media around the clock, 24\7. We can be easily reached at any time, including weekends and holidays at all times to answer any questions and concerns. Answer: I ordered a pair on 3rd Nov and was still waiting on 20 Nov. I canceled them On the 21st. A rep called and convinced me to give them a second chance...big mistake. I gave them a second shot and resubmitted the order on the 21st. The rep assured me that the glasses would be shipped in 6 days. Taking into account Thanksgiving the glasses should have be shipped on the 30th but they were still in production and, again no real customer service. I canceled and drove to America's Best. In 15 minutes I ordered glasses and they were $30.00 less than glassesusa. I don't recommend that company.
