During the last 3 months I purchased a pair of prescription glasses this is the second time doing business with this company, as with the first pair they broke but I did get two years out of the first pair so I figured I would try them again, after three months the glasses started to get weak on the arm and noticing a lens that didn't seem to fit in the frame right turning glasses over and they seemed tweaked one arm in the air on a flat surface they are crooked, so after three months they broke at the arm and fell off my head, not to say it left me with no glasses that day, but calling them and explaining to them my dis - satisfaction with this pair it wasn't expected that I would get anywear with customer service, I was surprised to get a e mail from them offering a new pair with any frames and the same options as ordered before no matter what the cost, so must say that although earlier review was may be necessary but worked out and must be revised asmy glasses arrive today, so A plus to them,
I received my glasses a few days ago. LOVE THEM! They look amazing and the prescription was spot on. I would definitely order from GlassesUSA again. Plus the price was incredible. Without discount, it came to about $96. I used the discount or code and the glasses came to about $65. So happy with them. Don't hesitate... ORDER!

I ordered a pair glasses. They were wonderful. Ordered another pair. Was sent the wrong glasses. I got no help from customer service. I paid $165 for a strong prescription. I got a pair of five dollar readers. Now I can't get my glasses until I send these POS back.

I would like to inform you of my bad experience with this company. I bought a Rayban sunglasses with multifocal lenses. The lenses were of poor quality and I returned my glasses. When I went to request the return I was offered the amount paid plus 10% if I opted to buy another glasses in the company. I accepted and returned the glasses. After more than 5 days I did not receive authorization to use the credit again and I went to the chat to ask why the delay. The clerk said she should wait up to 5 working days. Not satisfied with this term I decided to cancel my purchase and request the refund of the amount paid on my credit card. First she did not want to do it and after I insisted a lot she decided to do and said that the credit would be done in up to 30 business days. Therefore, here is a great warning to anyone who is buying from this company. The return is not made that easy. You need to have patience with the support so that they solve your problem and the company is not true in the information published at the time of purchase. Great advice for new customers, DO NOT BUY THIS COMPANY, MAKE VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY.

I am so disappointed that I blindly ordered from GlassesUSA without first reading the reviews about this company. I surely would not have made that mistake if I invested some time to find out what kind of a scam they are before placing my order. It seems that all of the 1 star reviews here resonate with my case. Charges placed on my credit card and a month later one of the two pairs I ordered is still missing. Customer service can't get in touch with the Production and Sales Departments in over four weeks? What kind of a company is not able to get in touch with a department within the company for such a long period of time. I am filing reports with the appropriate consumer protection companies.

Forgive this long review, but necessary to cover all the mistakes made PLEASE READ if you plan to order from GlassesUSA
Horribly disorganized and disjointed company(s?):
First, my order took much longer than I've ever experienced for RX glasses (locally or otherwise) weeks!
The very day I ordered, I had just received a huge discount coupon from Glasses USA by email, discounting an entire pair of glasses, but when I entered this coupon code I was informed that it was an invalid coupon and could only get a discount on "upgrades" on the lenses (NOT stated on the original coupon), so the frames were FULL MANUFACTURER RETAIL PRICE (highest possible price, as I discovered later most all other online sellers were cheaper).
When I received my RX sunglasses (WEEKS later), they were as dark as welders goggles unable to see anything other than objects sun was falling directly on otherwise, total black-out and did not fit well (even after virtual try-on). There is nothing on the order form or ANYWHERE on the their website indicating the option that GlassesUSA sunglasses can be produced in lower % tint.
I returned them for store credit, willing to give them another chance on standard clear RX glasses. I stated plainly by email, then later by telephone to a human rep, that I did not want this original pair, I wanted store credit.
Several days after they received my returned glasses (I tracked the my return), I still had no acknowledgment of store credit, so I called and was told that it would take a few more days to get this, as the facility was in another state and detached from the order and call center facility.
A day later, I received an email stating that they were RE-MANUFACTURING the ORIGINAL ORDER and needed to know the % of tint I wanted!
AGAIN, I gave them another chance (stupidly) and reminded them I had asked for STORE CREDIT and did not want the original order.
ANOTHER full day later, I received an email from GlassesUSA stating that the REFUND (not store credit) I had requested was being processed! WHAT?!

Premium frames, like those you had ordered, are eligible for discounts on the lenses only which you did take advantage of with our lenses70 coupon for a 70% discount on the lenses.
While your glasses were produced within the time-frame as noted at the time of ordering, once the order has left our facilities, we rely on the courier service for all additional details on the status of your shipment. However, if any delay, error, or incident occurs, we will do everything we can to resolve it and get your order to you as soon as possible.
Sunglasses are tinted at 75% which is the standard tint. We are sorry that the tint was too dark for you. The sun-glass tint can be produced lighter or darker by contacting our customer service representatives at 1 844 244-1186 after an order is placed. If the glasses do not meet our customer's satisfaction, we do have a 14 Day 'no questions asked' return policy.

I realized when placing the order that there was something wrong because they were supposed to be 2 identical pairs of glasses and one looked different. I called same day I ordered them but was told nothing could be done until I got the order number. But by the time they gave me a number it was past the 2 week deadline. I didn't realize the number was nearly invisibly printed on the box, on a crease, no one explained. They won't take the faulty pair back. They told me to photograph the faulty pair and I did but it was a waste of time, they still would not take them back.

Purchased glasses on 9/1, was told they went into production on 9/5... Exactly 20 days ago now... I've been trying to contact them for over a week about where my glasses are and supposedly the "sales Dept" can only talk to the "production Dept" via email and they do not have a phone number they can give me. Nobody can say where my glasses are or when they will be completed.
Company is 100% a scam! Do not order from them!

Foolish me, I didn't research the company first. Advertisement indicated that glasses would be done in 10 days, and the price was good. Got me! I ordered glasses on 9/9/2018 and received an email right away indicating they had received it. On the 17th I received an email that said the glasses had completed the 5 stripe quality assurance testing and was in transit to the "sorting facility". (In hind sight, I'm not sure what that means) I would receive a tracking number in 1-2 days. The 19th came and no number. I called and spoke to someone with an accent, not sure what it was. I was told the glasses had been shipped and that I would receive a tracking number in 1-2 days. On the 22nd I called again, and again spoke to a female with an accent, to say I had not received a tracking number. I could hear other women in the background also with the same accent. I was told that this time that my complaint would be sent to a service rep and I would be contacted shortly. I received an email within minutes, just as I had with my other call, that my complaint had been forward to the "appropriate department" for review and that they would contact me if any other information was needed. I've not received my glasses, nor a call from anyone. Will be contacting Better Business Bureau

If I could leave a negative review I would. I ordered my prescription sunglasses and sent them my prescription. When I finally got my sunglasses, they were the completely wrong prescription. I overnighted them back to them to redo. Six weeks later, I still do not have my correct sunglasses. I have sent 27 copies of my prescription and they keep saying they dont have it even though they respond to the email. I have asked for my money back since they offer a 100% money back guarantee and I can't get that. So now I have no product and we are out almost $200. Do not do business with this company.

I was finally provided with a tracking number. Apparently my glasses originated in Tel Aviv. I didn't know that Tel Aviv, Israel was part of the United States.

It has taken weeks to get single vision glasses. I finally called and all they could say was it would be shipped this week. I asked where they were coming from and the woman said Hicksville, NY. When I asked where the lenses were manufactured she got cagey and said they had other laboratories but would not say where. I'm hoping my glasses actually arrive. Don't use them.
I found the perfect pair of prescription glasses and happily gave them my email so they would send me a 60% off first purchase coupon... when it came Time to checkout and I tried the coupon it said "sorry coupon not valid but hey. Lucky you here's our secret deal a 10% off coupon!" I called them and of course they said "Oh, that's on just certain select models". Probably models no one wants. Not buying my glasses here.

When a customer chooses a premium tagged frame (e.g. Ray Ban, Oakley, DKNY etc) we cannot provide the 60% discount on the frame, but can provide discount on the lenses.
Same goes for lenses with strong prescriptions, or when a customer needs bifocal or progressive lenses which are more expensive to produce.

As I sit here typing this review, with my OLD glasses on and arms not long enough to make sure I'm spelling correctly. I ordered glasses the 3rd week of August and I STILL don't have them OR a valid tracking number. Customer service is worthless as tits on a bull.
1). Take will HAPPILY take your $.
2). Provide you with a non-existent tracking number. It ships DHL to USPS and they cannot provide a tracking number for the first shipment to DHL. REALLY?
3). We've provided you with a confirmation email, a tracking number now just wait for your package.
4). I've traveled the globe and spoken with customer service in the Philippines, India, and God knows where else. Everyone is dumber than a box of rocks!

I've purchased my glasses on 9/1/18 and still haven't received them and it's 9/19/18. When i try to track my order it still says it's in production and will take up to 3 days. I've called MULTIPLE times, and they didn't even know what to say. They just kept saying they'll have someone contact me as soon as possible. But i still don't have any updates. Do not waste your time and money! Not worth it AT ALL.

My newest glasses, ordered through my optometrist, fell apart a few months ago when I simply pushed them up on my nose. Being 3 years old they were out of warranty, but I had to have major surgery last year putting me behind. My next newest, I had donated to the Lions Club so couldn't see well enough through my old ones to order online although I had a new prescription. I called the Customer Service toll free number at GlassesUSA, spoke with a lady named Carl, and her patience with me was commendable. I had NEVER ordered glasses online before, but she was honest and told me delivery may take several weeks. They kept in touch with me via email from production, to sending my glasses to their inspection center, to sending my USPS tracking number. Of course from there, I contacted the USPS who kept me posted right up until delivery within a surprising 4 week. I figured I'd have to adjust the glasses to fit, of course. I cried tears of joy and thanked God when they fit right out of the box! How? God is great. Yes I prayed before ordering instead of checking reviews, but some very qualified people made my glasses exactly to the prescription given in the frames I picked. But how they fit my crooked ears perfectly is the mystery or, I prefer to think miracle.

I placed an order on 8/22/18, was notified it shipped 8/31/18. Tracking number never worked. I chatted with customer service via chat. I called numerous times. Everyone was friendly. Incompetent, controlling, and friendly Filipinos. They all talk in circles. They are all researching my order. The ordernis is in transit to usps. It takes 7-10 days to deliver, that's weekdays (it was been 10 weekdays since the order shipped' as of 9/14/8.). The lies are ridiculous. Now they blame hurricane Florence which was not an issue until 9/13/18 for the US east coast. It's a crazy racket. Do not waste your money or energy. Oh, and by the way, they will NOT put a supervisor on the phone with you. You are stonewalled at every turn. My credit card took care of me. I've written the Attorney General as well. It's not in my nature to make a fuss like this, but the lack of integrity, that I won't take or leave for others to have to endure.
There are fake positive reviews online that you can't comment on or leave your own review.

I ordered glasses on August 9,2018. They were shipped from Thailand via UPS. The UPS shipment was apparently lost. UPS says they can only report results of an investigation to the sender (GlassesUSA) and GlassesUSA says they have no report from UPS on September 14. GlassesUSA refuses to refund my purchase and continues to refuse to do anything to resolve the matter definitively. I have attempted to speak to a Supervisor in customer service. Refused several times but got through (they said) and got the same story. I am filing complaints with BBB, Texas Attorney General's Fraud Office, and the FTC. Since this is an Israeli-owned company apparently, will also file complaints with authorities in Israel.

I have been given, at last count, four different stories regarding the status of my eye glasses. After ordering the glasses 4weeks ago and being charged at that time, they now refuse to cancel the order and refund the money I was charged. I have been provided a USPS tracking number but the USPS have NO record of ever receiving this parcel. Glasses USA claim the parcel is in route to the Post Office but I know it does not take two weeks to deliver a parcel to the USPS. Separately, I was told my parcel was part of a "larger consolidation of parcels experiencing a delay " and despite a promised update I never heard back from their customer service. (Another week wasted) Now, the latest story is that they cannot cancel the order because they "already shipped it." One lie after another. Luckily I used AMEX and they will be providing a full credit to me and have launched a "fraud" investigation into Glasses USA based on the paper trail I provided. This company is a total fraud. Save yourself the inevitable aggravation and disappointment and find another option.

Avoid at all costs. Just cancelled my order of three pairs of glasses. After 3 unanswered emails, and a chat box convo of 15 mins that created more questions than solved. I decided that GlassesUSA didn't want my business so to fulfill their desire, I cancelled my order and moved onto another online reseller.

In some cases, unfortunately, glasses might not pass quality assurance, which means they need to be remade. Answer: I ordered a pair on 3rd Nov and was still waiting on 20 Nov. I canceled them On the 21st. A rep called and convinced me to give them a second chance...big mistake. I gave them a second shot and resubmitted the order on the 21st. The rep assured me that the glasses would be shipped in 6 days. Taking into account Thanksgiving the glasses should have be shipped on the 30th but they were still in production and, again no real customer service. I canceled and drove to America's Best. In 15 minutes I ordered glasses and they were $30.00 less than glassesusa. I don't recommend that company.
