It has been 2 weeks since my order was placed, the email next from them said about 3 days of production then 2 days of whatever... when I went online to check it said still in production, then I called in and it hung up, then called back and after 10 minutes with someone I could hardly understand she said they were somewhere... if I don't hear anything tomorrow I will cancel. FOR ME... this was lousy service.

I bought these glasses during the summer break and I felt as though I would be able to trust this company with their promise of an easy return process. When I received these glasses, I didn't really like them and they felt really flimsy, so I believed that returning these glasses wouldn't really be a difficult process. However, we first had trouble retrieving our tracking number and many other inconveniences after. I feared that my glasses wouldn't be returned properly, in turn us not getting a full refund; I chose to keep it. After no more than a few weeks I felt my glasses becoming very loose on my head, even falling off if I tilt my head forward. When I looked at the glasses I noticed that the legs of the glasses itself has become very wide, even though I made sure to take extra care of it. I became frustrated but just allowed myself to continue wearing it and try not to allow it to become worse. A few days ago I noticed the screw came out on its own so I tried fixing it myself by screwing it back together for it to return to it previous state. Nonetheless just right now as I was taking it off, gently, the whole leg came off on its own, with no chance of it being fixed.

Seeing you filled in the RMA within the return period, but decided to keep the glasses and try to get used to them, and they later broke completely.
We would like to suggest the following solution: Please send pictures of the broken glasses to [email protected]
If found eligible - our Returns department will offer you our 365 day warranty which will provide you with 50% of the amount you paid as store credit.
You can then order the same frame with fashion/non-prescription lenses, and replace the lenses from your broken glasses into the new frame. This will enable you to get a replacement pair at no cost to you.

Any email that you will send to our Returns department will be treated professionally and fairly, and we will do our best to assist.

Where are my glasses?

I ordered glasses and paid for expedited shipping. I cannot track my order on their site. I get confusing and contradictory messages from their customer service, and as of today I dont know where the glasses are. Where are my glasses?

You ordered the glasses on October 3rd, your lenses require a 6 business days production, plus 2 business days quality assurance plus 3-5 business days express shipping, so the glasses are actually on time.
They are currently in the delivery process, and you should receive them imminently.

I ordered and payed for glasses almost two months ago! I received an e-mail six weeks ago stating my order was received and I would be provided status updates throughout the production of my glasses that was over five weeks ago. I have called twice and was told that my complaints were forwarded to the correct department, sales?
I have still not heard back from anyone. I would have better off putting the money in a slot machine. At least, I would have known what happened to it!

Poor service
October 14, 2018

I had a terrible experience with your company today. Last week, I bought a Groupon, and I entered it into the cart, but it would not accept it. I contacted customer service via the chat and they were able to fix it within five minutes. Today, I go to use another Groupon I bought, again, it will not accept the code. I use the chat to try to get some assistant, and after talking for a few minutes, the person just leaves the chat, without anything be ing fixed, out of the blue. So I talk to someone else in the chat. They apparently don't know what to do so they have to send it to their supervisor, which Can take up to 48 hours and it is a Friday, so that won't be until Tuesday. And the Groupon will be expired by then. So I call in. I talk to a lady, who puts me on hold for very long periods of time, But still is unable to help me and says someone will email me in 48 hours. I again explained that the Groupon would be expired, but she couldn't help me. Ultimately, I had to go back to Groupon and trade it in for something else. So disappointed. Will not be using this company again.

Completely Incompetent

After 2 weeks of trying i still cannot buy the glasses I want. I've tried at least 10 times, and spoken to the Filipino customer service 5 times, and still have been unable to buy the glasses I want.

An online seller of glasses has been unable to sell me the glasses I want to buy because their web site doesn't work. Once items are put into the shopping cart, the shopping car is inaccessible, and apparently no one can do anything to correct this.

Save your time, buy glasses from a competent seller.

I ordered glasses a month ago (9/10). My glasses supposedly made it through production and got shipped on 9/20. On 9/22 the import company, DHL, tendered the package to the domestic shipping company, USPS. USPS has had no tracking updates since and every time I have called the customer service number I have been told to "just wait longer." There are no supervisors to talk to and no time lines with regards to how long they need to "investigate" the whereabouts of my package. This company and their customer service is a complete fraud. I cannot get an answer on what happened to my package, or when it will be replaced. I was also told that since they shipped, I cannot get a refund even if it is a lost package. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY! P.S. Although the name "GlassesUSA" hints that there may be some domestic product involved, that is not the case. My glasses were made overseas and the call center is in the Philippines.

No Refund

Before purchasing from this website, I looked at the refund information on the home page under "100% Money-Back Guarantee." The drop down window here states: "At GlasssesUSA.com, returns and exchanges are made easy. We do our best to make returns and exchanges as easy as possible. We are pretty confident that you'll love our product. However, if for some reason or other you're not completely satisfied with your glasses within the first 14 days of receiving them, you are entitled to a money back return or a 100% store credit. No questions asked and hassle-free." Next to this button is one that says "Free Shipping and Returns." When I click on this, it says: "Enjoy Free Shipping and returns on all orders (for orders in the US & Canada). If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your order, you may return it within the first 14 days. We even provide you with a return shipping label, no questions asked!" Then there is a hyper link that says "Read our full return policy." However, if you try to move the mouse down to this hyper link, the entire drop down window disappears. I tried other browsers and devices, but it always did the same. So, based on this information, I did not feel at risk ordering online. I proceeded to order 2 pairs of glasses, but when I received them, I was not happy with one pair. I submitted a request to exchange them after searching the site and finding only 1 other pair that I thought I would like. When I received the new pair, I immediately did not like them when I opened them. They looked very awkward and not like they looked online. I decided to return these for a refund since I had exhausted all the options from the website, but then I was told I was only allowed store credit. I have emailed several times, I have contacted Customer Service multiple times, and it took 2 phone calls before I could speak with a supervisor. They just keep telling me that their policy is that once you exchange, the next time you can only receive store credit. However, according to the information posted on the website, as mentioned, this is not clearly stated. They did not seem to care about customer satisfaction, and now I am stuck with a pair of glasses that I will never wear.

I ordered a pair of glasses a month ago... I really needed them to arrive before the 14th of October because I will be flying that day out of the US!
I know nothing about my order, customer service just gives me the run around... No one provides me with any information about my order and every staff member gives me a whole different story!
I have NO IDEA of my the status of my order or if I even receive them sometime at all!
The process has been ridiculous... They deserve a MAJOR SUE!

It is now three weeks since I placed my order and every email I have sent to try to estimate when I will receive my glasses has been replied by the same answer. "Great news your glasses are on their way". The carrier (USPS) has not received my packages yet but glasses USA has an internal system that initially stated I had received my package then it changed to USPS has received the package to now today they will receive it any day now and the fault is by me since I chose regular shipping. By the USPS tracking system the package was listed shipped on October 4th and today is October 11th and they still don't have it. They refused to refund the money I paid three weeks ago and they keep stating that it is normal for people to wait several weeks to get their package if they choose standard shipping at check out. I have emails as proof on how bad they truly treat their customers. They suck.

Purchased two pairs of glasses online over the holiday weekend. Great sales, great selection, so I ordered a pair for me and my son. A few days go by and I get an email from them saying they don't have a PD for my son. With Warby Parker has an easy solution for this so I asked GlassesUsa if I could do the same. No response. A couple more days go by and so I called them. The lady I spoke to was horribly unhelpful and put me on hold a few times. In the end I requested a refund for my order from which she said I had to fill out a form and return and it would take 14 days after that point to get a refund. I can't imagine they will stay in business much longer. Icing on the cake is I can't fill out the form on my phone.

We will need a PD for a child's pair of glasses as otherwise we will not be able to produce them. Our cancellation process is very simple and can be done through our website easily using a laptop or desktop PC and not a mobile platform. Once it is done the refund process is very fast but we do have to give a refund time frame which is usually alot less than what the rep will tell you as a worse case scenario.

Customer service is awful. I was told three different times that my glasses had been shipped. They had not shipped. Then, when they did ship, they sent them to an incorrect address. I submitted the correct address, they messed it up on their end. I am still fighting with them to get a refund. No glasses, no refund, BAD company. BEWARE

Awful Return Policy

The first pair of glasses that I ordered from GlassesUSA were bent badly and I was unable to see through them so I set up a return. They offered store credit so I took it because I wanted to get another pair anyway. The second pair arrived and I am unable to see through those as well. By this time I've given up and just want a refund rather than repeatedly getting glasses that I can't even use, but they won't refund my money. Turns out that by accepting store credit and giving them a second chance I no longer qualify for a refund. I've been trying for days to reach somebody at GlassesUSA that can authorize a refund but they won't let me get past their customer service people, and all they can do is repeat the same awful return policy to me over and over. I feel like I've been robbed. I spent over $300 on glasses that I can't even use. Matt B.

Where is my glasses?

Today is 10/09/18. I ordered my glasses 13 days ago. Order # *******. Already five days I received the status - "On Its Way to USPS". I previously left a poor review because my glasses were not moving out of production. I'm leaving a new review because I'm very pleased with my order. I ordered three pairs of glasses on September 1. I received them on October 22, and I am very pleased. Therefore, order from GlassesUSA if you are not in a hurry. Order, sit back, relax. When they arrive, you will be pleased. This is possibly the best purchase I've made this year in terms of bang for buck.

That's the simplest way to put it. I have ordered glasses online other websites with no issue and been very happy. That has not been the case with glasses USA.com. I did receive one pair of my glasses. When I contacted customer service I was told that the second pair that was ordered in the same order had been sent to a different manufacturing facility. When I questioned why it was that my order showed complete and a tracking number was provided why was it not made clear that only one pair of glasses shipped. Still have not got a clear answer. I was assured that I would receive a tracking number for the second missing a pair of glasses with in 24 to 48 hours. Still have not received a tracking number for the glasses. Their customer service is nonexistent. After reading other reviews I am not even going to bother returning the first pair that I ordered ordered. In regards to the first pair of prescription is 100% accurate and the frames and lenses seem to be of great quality.

Ordered two frames (one my daughter and one for myself). Been waiting nearly two months and nothing. Every time I call I am told the same story: "the glasses were sent to production; we are waiting on production." Found out the frames I originally ordered for myself were not in stock, but no one told me this until three weeks after the order! And I only knew about it because I called yet again! I chose a new frame. It has now been 8 weeks and still no glasses. I have received several emails from GlassesUSA, but they have different Order numbers than the original one they gave me. What the heck is going on? Not only that, but my daughter's glasses were completely forgotten about. No status on those. If the issue was with my frames being out of stock, why not just ship my daughter's glasses to me? I called again today (this is the 7th time I've wasted my time on the phone) and figured out that this place is being managed out of the Philippines. Supposedly the production crew is in the U.S., but no one knows where they are and there are apparently no offices or phones whereby anyone can reach them. Only email internal to the Philippines team. This store is a ghost shop being run out of someone's garage or something. Horrible customer service. I paid for a service and a product... Where are my glasses!? I need to connect with my legal department at my job to help me with a legal claim. This is unacceptable.

This company has the WORST costumer service I have ever had to deal with in my life. My glasses were ordered and paid for months ago and I still have not received them. I have called a million times and still, nothing has been resolved. They have lied to me and one representative hung on me. HORRIBLE company. If I could give them a 0/5 I would.

We apologize for the delay in reproducing your glasses. Apparently, we did not receive the tracking number of the glasses that you had returned. We have located the receipt of the shipping label that you sent and our Returns Dept. is proceeding with your new order. The glasses will be shipped to you by expedited shipping as our way of making things right.

I ordered new glasses on Sept 19. I was told they would be made within six business days and that I would have them in two weeks. I got an email October 4th that said they can't make them. Some kind of issue with the size of frame. Uhh, isn't that what you do? Make glasses? After two emails and over an hour long phone call with "John" clearly from India, they told me I was charged for the glasses and that if I wanted to Cancel them I would have to fill out a form and wait two weeks to get my money back. Uhh I don't want to cancel them. I wanted the glasses. Idiots can't make glasses or refund a charge but they know how to charge a credit card right away. Don't do business with these people.
