I originally wrote a negative review because it appeared that I did not receive a credit I was owed. I have recolved that, but still have somplaints:
1. If I had received complete information when I first called, this issue would have been resolved within a day--not a month.
2. GetARoom charges very high service fees, making the cost of a room as much as 50% higher.
3. Customer service is poor--they do not provide much information and are inconsistent in their responses and obviously have no authority.
4. I had to post a negative review and make repeated complaints before someone took my issue seriously.
I had to change my reservation dates 5 minutes after booking a room through them. They won't budge. I will never, ever use their services again. And I will tell all my relatives and friends to avoid them like the plague.
Easy to use site but i feel this survey is a little premature. Heck it was essy to use but far if i know 100% that i have the room i dont know yet.
I was sold a room that wouldnt fit our family luckly i asked a question weeks after i made the purchase or i would have shown up in Mexico with know where to put my family. I wanted a ocean view since well who wouldn't want to see the ocean from a nice balcony on your trip to the ocean. So they gave me a new room at an increased price (nothing crazy) no ocean view, but told it was a right now offer so take it or leave it type thing and since i already have flight plans had no choice really! Staff was very nice and tried to be helpful.
I have to call my bank to cancel one of the transections, and the bank should wait 48 hours. That is annoying me.
The first woman said we had to cancel the old reservation before we could book a new one. When that old reservation was done Robert came on the scene to say we would have to pay for the now two rooms booked. He was working on it with the local Hilton. I still haven't gotten the confirmation of its refund for the first room booked. He did verbally say it was fixed. But I spent over an hour on it. It was mostly on hold. I have never had so much trouble with a Hilton hotel. Makes me think twice about the future. I hope there will be no problem when I get there.
As a tourist from the USA, vat/19%?, should not be included, but the fees are not itemized, so it is not visible.

The process was quick and easy. I got the Hotel I wanted at a great price and the room was exactly as promised. A+!
Overall it was good. Positives were Room clean, bed clean, bathroom clean, hot shower, good a. C. Negatives were one bed was all sunk in, tv was a fuzzy pic, refrigerator was not working, sink was about to fall off wall, and the security peep bar on door was barely holding on with one loose screw. As for the booking site it was a great deal and easy to use and I will use getaroom again and will refer people to use them.

I enjoyed staying here for 3 nights with my daughter. Rooms were clean and ready for guests. All supplies were stocked. Maid service continued to check on us. Clerk at front desk was polite and more than willing to help with my needs.
First of all the elevators didn t work and they was sendind the guests across a fake wall to get the maid elevator. It happens, ok
Then the card key was not working then back to the lobby considering the first point...
The bathroom is sad and basic. The floor suffered some water disaster. No iron table...
The bed is good and the shower powerful and fast to heat

I reserved a room from this site and I have multiple complaints. The pictures showed a suite for the room I was reserving and paying for; however, once I got to the hotel they stated that there was no such room with title I reserved and I did not reserve a suite and was given a handicap room. I feel that this site is misleading and not only charges you high prices for rooms but make a you assume your reserving a better room then you are.
UPDATE: After I first wrote this review I immediately received a response from the site. They were very nice and eager to resolve the issue I had. I would give this site another try just due to the customer service of this site and willingness to resolve any complaints.
Answer: They are not ethical. For me, they used a website that appeared to be the actual hotel website, did not identify themselves when they should have, and did not mention booking fees while they charged a 30 percent booking fee for a room that was its normal price. They were supposed to cancel charges on my credit card and did not. STAY AWAY!
Answer: They are a site attached to Trip Advisor---- if you see them on screen while trying to book a room-- hit cancel. I'm out over $150 because of their fraudulent cancellation policy.
Answer: Thought I was booking on the actual hotel sight but was deceived in as much as it was Getaroom. Talked to someone else also staying at this hotel at the same for about a third less. Called them right back and had already charged my card and it would be up to 3 weeks to refund. That's about what it took but did get refund. Then checked reviews and no one had anything good to say about getaroom. Go straight to hotel sight of one you know and trust or stick with something like Travelocity.
Answer: I'm definitely in. There's something very deceptive, if not illegal, when you start off on a hotel's website and when you click Make a Reservation, it somehow transfers you to the GetARoom site without your knowledge. I had no idea this was done until I received their email confirmation. I'm thinking of contacting my state's Consumer Protection Div. Of the AG's Office to file a complaint when I get back from vacation.

Answer: Wow. This is one bad company. Made a reservation and then needed to cancel. They gave cancel date all along. I called to cancel on that date and was told that date was only for 1 minute of date they told me. I was supposed to forfeit one night's cost. Luckily I made reservation on AMEX and they'll tell this fraud company to get lost. Moral of the story: make reservations through hotel.
