I was very happy with my get a room experience but Im not happy that it is impossible to submit a review under 100 words.
It's not nice to hear from a hotel manager, " you can try other hotel if you can't find the room you paid for".
Made reservations at hotel for one night when our plane arrived and for another night when we had an early departure a week later. I was given one information number and told both nights were reserved. Upon checking since I had only one confirmation number, I found the reservation for our departure date only even though the charge went through for the arrival date. Called and had to start the process again for the arrival date. So I was frustrated, but ultimately the issue was resolved. Would I use this service again? Probably would.
Finding and booking a stay was very simple. The ratings and pricing were readily available. I was able to find a hotel in the are of my preference.
I was not pleased with the experience. I only wanted to change my dates for my stay at the hotel in Munich. I didn't want to cancel. However, I was not given any options. I contacted the hotel directly, and they said they would be willing to help but since it was done through a third party, I had to deal with them. What's the use of going through a third party if they can't even help.
I booked a room on this site for $794, arrived at the hotel Embassy Suites and was told my credit card didn't process, so they charged me for my stay at $608. When I received my credit card statement, I saw that I had been charged for both bills. I called book a room and after 25 minutes, I was told that the supervisor was not available and to call back tomorrow. I told them I would dispute it. Disputed it with my credit card company, then on my next statement I saw the hotel refunded the $608 and I was charged back the $794. USE THE HOTEL SITES, THIS SITE TOOK ADVANTAGE OF ME.
Getaroom was an easy booking process and great price on hotels! I would use again or reccomended to a friend.
First i reserved a room with a double bed i actually chosed that option and paid more for it but getarrom email still shows double or twin making the owner have a reason too say it's is choice, and they try to give us two single beds after an argument with the owner that told me he makes the laws here, he ended up giving us a double bed, then i was in the bed talking to my wife naked when a guy opens the door immediately after knocking catching us naked, pervert pricks, avoid like the plague
I called this in to book a room at the Peppermill in Reno, I asked for a room in the Tuscany tower and I had a code from my customer for discount.
They booked me into the Tuscany hotel in Vegas., charged me card immediately and will not refund the money, I am out 2 nights hotel money.
The manager claimed the hotel won't cancel it. I will never use them again totally incompetent
Have stayed there 3 times and have never been disappointed. Great value. Would recommend to anyone passing by Cordele. We will be back.

The booking experience for The Royal Pacific Hotel and Towers hotel in Hong Kong was very good. Your company provided excellent information and the booking process went extremely well. All cancellations before 2-11-2019 are fully refundable.

Throughout the booking process it never stated that the full hotel charge would be put on my credit card. In fact, it said it would be under $100 to reserve the room. The next day, the full amount of the room was placed on my credit card.
These people are crooks. They pose as the real lodging (in my case the Lake Arrowhead Resort) on the website search, offer you above asking prices for the room and then that room type is not available so you end up paying more than you need to! Not once did the salesperson on the phone say it was not a direct booking with the resort. Be very careful with this business or you will get screwed!
There was a mistake on our hotel reservation made by Get-a-room. These things happen, and it would've been no big deal if they fixed it. Basically they confirmed a particular type of room and amenities, but the confirmation email and the room booked weren't what we agreed to on the phone.
There was a bit of a hassle to try to get to a resolution, but in the end a gentlemen whose name escapes me, called and went above and beyond to come to an agreeable resolution.
Easy to use. I was surprised to find a room still available. The direct hotel site said that they didnt have Anticipatory guidance is provided. Available rooms. I wish I had a clearer idea of which room I have reserved. The description was vague.
Your reservation online I book my room for one hotel with no refund rate and after I finished my booking I got confirmation for different hotel

Answer: They are not ethical. For me, they used a website that appeared to be the actual hotel website, did not identify themselves when they should have, and did not mention booking fees while they charged a 30 percent booking fee for a room that was its normal price. They were supposed to cancel charges on my credit card and did not. STAY AWAY!
Answer: They are a site attached to Trip Advisor---- if you see them on screen while trying to book a room-- hit cancel. I'm out over $150 because of their fraudulent cancellation policy.
Answer: Thought I was booking on the actual hotel sight but was deceived in as much as it was Getaroom. Talked to someone else also staying at this hotel at the same for about a third less. Called them right back and had already charged my card and it would be up to 3 weeks to refund. That's about what it took but did get refund. Then checked reviews and no one had anything good to say about getaroom. Go straight to hotel sight of one you know and trust or stick with something like Travelocity.
Answer: I'm definitely in. There's something very deceptive, if not illegal, when you start off on a hotel's website and when you click Make a Reservation, it somehow transfers you to the GetARoom site without your knowledge. I had no idea this was done until I received their email confirmation. I'm thinking of contacting my state's Consumer Protection Div. Of the AG's Office to file a complaint when I get back from vacation.

Answer: Wow. This is one bad company. Made a reservation and then needed to cancel. They gave cancel date all along. I called to cancel on that date and was told that date was only for 1 minute of date they told me. I was supposed to forfeit one night's cost. Luckily I made reservation on AMEX and they'll tell this fraud company to get lost. Moral of the story: make reservations through hotel.
