Clearly stay away, BUT we should also advise momondo and skiplagged to stop referring customers to FlyFar.
If you managed to actually get your flight booked with this company don't bother trying to confirm a seat booking as the so called 24 hour answering service is condescending and rude to say the least. Will take you in circles and ignore the fact that they are speaking with an adult. Trust me AVOID!
Be careful - do not book through this site! They will process your credit card, then issue you with emails either to ask you to confirm/validate emails and they operate based on EST (Canada) time (note, I am in Perth, WA), or that the flights are no longer available by the airlines and within hours of "not receiving response/confirmation", they cancel the bookings. Then there consultants either give you misinformation, or hangs up on you when you challenged them on their processes.
I booked an international flight with Flyfar.com, on two different airlines.
The information on my domestic flight was fine, but when I went to login to my account on the second airline and apply for my transit visa in that country (we intentionally booked a flight through this city so we could spend the 13 hour layover there) my infant daughter's ticket had the won last name.
Flyfar claims they are "working on it". It's been days now and I have heard nothing and the call center only says "We are working on it". The window to apply for the transit visa has now closed, which means we cannot leave the airport to go to our hotel, which means I have to SLEEP ON THE AIRPORT FLOOR WITH AN INFANT thanks to Flyfar.
3 days until we leave, and we still have no idea if the name change has gone through. The airline will not help us (they will only tell us it was Flyfar''s mistake and must be fixed by Flyfar). They have told us we will not be able to board if Flyfar does not fix their mistake, which means we will be stranded halfway through our trip...
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.
Purchased a bereavement ticket for my 71 yo handicap mother in law to pay final respects to her husband in Manila. Scheduled her to leave Monday evening. To my dismay, I see she arrives on Thursday night. There's a 12 and a 22 hour layover. Sick old woman to spend a 22 hour layover in a wheelchair. Just wrong, but that's how they do business. Will never book with them again. Horrible

Careful booking with them, they charge you credit card before checking if the flights are still available at that price. So they'll tell you that your booking has been completed but then you get an email, that looks like the normal booking confirmation with flight details, but if you read carefully it says that your booking wasn't successful because the rate you PAID for wasn't available anymore, so you need to call them and request a refund, that takes up to 7 business days! It was over $3.000 ticket!
It took me less than a minute to fill up my information, it's not that I left the search and then came back.

I made a mistake on an online ticket purchase. I realised as soon as the confirmation came through so called them straight away. They still charged $25 per ticket (plus the payment processing fee of $26) for cancellation even though I was going to re-book with them. So I cancelled my tickets and re-booked with another provider... It will take supposedly 5-7 business days for a refund. Glad I found this review site so I can spread the word. Stay away from them, they are unethical.
Went to book a last minute flight for my husband. Took screen shots of info before i submitted it. The confirmation came back as my husbands info but switched our first names so i was the passenger but with my husbands info. Ialso got charged 35$ more than i was given as a grand total. I called my bank they said it was an airline charge. My credit card company even flagged the charge as fraudulant and i had to call to confirm it was legit. When i called the 24 call center the rep told me that i entered the info that way (even though i have pictures. Then he told me that the additional charges were charged from my bank even after i told him my bank said these were airline charges. He told me all i could do was get a refund in 3-5 business days which would make my husband not be able to fly into town for our sons surgery. I asked for a supervisor and he refused saying there are no supervisors, after i persisted for 5 minutes a supervisor suddenly appeared. The supervisor appologized and changed the flight info just like that. I got an instant email with the confirmation number and the correct name on the flight. After reading this page im not so confident with the entire booking. He did not address the additional charges that i got charged but i didnt want to push it. My bank will fix that after my husband flys and makes it safe. But what a horrible stressful situation to be put in, i wish i researched this before my flight. I was called a liar and lied to, i was talked over and felt disrespected and treated in an unfair and unkind manner by the first rep, what customer wants to get treated like this... the supervisor seemed helpful and compassionate to my situation and seemed like he fixed it so we will see
Do Not Use Fly Far. One person tells you something, next phone call to another person who says another thing. They are rip offs too! They suck money from you. I have 2 credits, one $147 and another for $245. Trying to use them on a fights I can book for $250 and will cost me $300... so basically all up it will cost me $550. If you have to cancel just loose your money. They charge $50 plus $88 then over tax to make more money! Just do not go here!
Same day ticket was purchased and confirmation email was received, complete with booking reference number for airline.
E-ticket was not included and when I called to inquire, I was told that it still hadnt been issued and that I should "wait an hour"- three hours before an international flight.
Then a rep came on the line and randomly told me that the ticket had been issued. According to the actual airline, it had not.
Finally they issued a "refund" that still hasn't shown up and "might take up to ten days"
Another rep lied to me and went back and forth between telling me that my ticket had been issued and then again that it hadnt.
This business is shady.
I rang them a couple of times, told me no fee will occur by 3 AGENTS on changes I want to make because they said I called them as soon as I hit Book in their site and notified them straight away. Then they asked me to wait for 45 mins only to be told that I need to ring them in the morning while they fix it. When I rang them, NOTHING has been changed and NO ONE is fixing our request. When I requested you guys to change it this morning, you're gonna tell me I have to give you $350 fee pp to change it? Are you telling me I wasted 3 phone calls with you, been awake upto 1am while waiting for your call only to be told that you don't have any record of the agentSSSS I spoke to? GEEZ. IT'S OKAY TO INCUR A FEE BUT TO BE TOLD A DIFFERENT SIDE AND EXPECT IT TO HAPPEN? It's really unprofessional. Should've seen the review of other people first before booking with them. Do Not Book with these guys please.
They had the cheapest flights but they charged each ticket individually from outside of the US causing my credit card to charge me international fees eight international fees. They never said that they would charge each ticket individually or that the charges could cause international fees. Very disappointing
This company charged me extra $40 and refused to refund even within 24 hours! It is a Canadien company and the US law may not apply for the company. Avoid at all cost.
Thought I was booking a cheap flight, how wrong I was. I paid the $1100 advertised only to have them tell me the next day the price was now $500 extra and that in order to confirm my reservation they would need more money. Absolute scam of a company, avoid at all costs. I would not recommend to anyone.
This website is a call center scam office that gives you non refundable tickets with a "use it or lose it" policy. DO NOT EVER purchase from these guys, go through the legitimate flight companies such as United, Air Canada, etc etc everytime, these guys basically scammed me for several hundred dollars, Caveat Emptor, but these guys should be put out of business for running a scam.

WRONG they will charge 30 days later much more expensive that the bill they with the ticket.

I needed to cancel my flight $100, no refund just flight credit 450 ok. I want to rebook a different flight with my flight credit $80, flight credit = $300 we have taken fees and airport taxes out of your credit. New flight was meant to be $500, new rule base flight does not apply to this flight you have to buy this special price cost $400 to book new flight. It cost the same amount of money as if to buy the fair in the first place. I should have kept the original fare and bought the second one without cancel as it would cost the same. A $500 fair has now cost me $900. How they can get away with it is not fair
