Do not book with FlyFar
November 18, 2018

My return flight was booked for the wrong date. I am almost positive that this mistake was not made on my end of the pipeline - regardless, customer service was rude, unhelpful and refused to transfer or refund the ticket. Despite having paid additional money for flight cancellation policy, I was told that the policy did not cover the return flight as the initial flight had already been embarked on. So much money lost, horrible customer service, do not recommend!

A scam!
October 29, 2018

Absolutely untrustworthy and fraudulent! Their website is incorrigible and when I selected the flight ticket, it kept me waiting forever and never confirmed it. And yet, they later on charged my credit card even after I had cancelled the transaction and deleted my credit card number. This simply means that they collect your credit card number and fraudulently charge it. When I called the customer service to complain, they were rude and terrible in responding to any of my questions! Never trust them and such things should be immediately notified to BBB for fraudulent activities!

They charge your card even if they don't book your flight in a timely manner. Skip the middle man and deal directly with the airline.

Big scam - hidden fees. Stay away. They added travel protections without our requesting it. They added almost $200 to the baggage fees. They will not refund it. They said we agree in a general kind of way to accept all their fees. Bull... I don't know what they would have charged if I'd added the other extras (seats and meals) through their site. Slimey. Smarmy business. Doesn't any agency patrol internet businesses? Anything above 1 star is written by their people.

I have never received a message like this after booking my flight... ****A portion of your flight reservation has FAILED****
Keep in mind, the company went ahead and purchased my Departure tickets while my Return tickets were apparently in limbo. I was charged for BOTH.
I called customer service as they instructed. I was told that I would receive a call back within an hour. Nothing... for two hours.
I call back... hold music... hold music... hold music... And they have no answers for me.
I tell them I would like to cancel my purchase, but they're not sure if that's possible.
So I continue to sit on hold and stew.

SCAM - stay away
July 31, 2018

I was searching to flights through kayak.com and was redirected to flyfar.ca for a cheap airfare. FlyFar charges as $86 "agency fee" which they do not disclose until the purchase is made. On the summary page before you make the purchase it has the regular charges of fares, taxes and fees. No mention that there is a hidden "agency fee" added to the air fare. Once I hit submit I was taken to a confirmation page and there was a more detailed summary of charges showing the extra fee. After I had paid! Checked my credit card and sure enough there was the charge for the air fare and a separate charge to flyfar for this agency fee. I called them within 10 minutes to remove this hidden fee or cancel my flight. I was told that they gave me a price and they do not have to disclose the agency fee or the breakdown until after I paid. If you are going to be charging a fee it needs to clearly be displayed before purchasing! I paid more for a flight that would have been cheaper to just book directly with the airline. No one would agree to that. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told there was none. I then asked to speak to someone else and he told me there was no one else there but him. Lies. He told me if I wanted to cancel it would be $200. I hung up and called my credit card company and they said all fees have to be disclosed before purchasing, so I will be filing a dispute with them. My husband then called flyfar back and surprise someone else answered the phone (even though the first person I spoke with said there was no supervisor or anyone else I can speak too!). She said she would get someone from their help desk and put us on hold and never came back. We sat there on hold for 20 minutes and nothing. I have never had to deal with a company that could get away with hiding hidden fees into the pricing, who didn't disclose this fee until after a purchase was made, and who has such terrible customer service that flat out lies to customers. Plus they have you pay for baggage up front saying It is 50% cheaper than paying for it at the airport. They charged $46 per bag, the airlines cost is $29! LIARS. I am shocked they are still allowed to operate.

The willingness to profit through bad business. A low integrity move, flyfar wouldn't refund my money for a double booking! What happened was: in my attempt to book a flight, the website says error after trying to process my purchase, so in a hurry as my life would have it, I send it through again so I don't miss the booking, and come to find that they booked the same flight twice for me. And so I think this can easily be resolved because, how does one person fly on the same exact flight twice? Impossible, right? There should be safeguards protecting this error from ever happening in the first place! Why then is it even possible that the company can accept a double booking? Why would anyone need to double book a flight for THEMSELVES? Either way! Why can't they then refund the double booked ticket? Especially 3 months in advance! And the reason is, in the end now they benefit TWICE financially for ONE ticket. I would understand if I had to cancel a flight because of not being able to fly, but this is a unique circumstance of bad communication through THEIR website and a BAD BUSINESS MODEL that allows them to profit 100% on a "cancellation" that should not have had to happen in the first place. In hindsight, the company should see that this is a glitch that allows someone to book TWO freaking tickets for ONE person on ONE flight. They should make reasonable steps to protect their consumers from circumstances just like this one from ever happening. I understand it was a mistake but where is the humanity in this equation, the good conversation where we can understand and fix a simple problem where no one is being taken advantage of here? Freaking blood suckers, like a couple hundred dollars is a huge deal to them, when in fact it's a much larger loss to me. People understand this but a company like this doesn't. So disappointed

The worst travel agency. They try to fool people by showing low rates. The moment you click on the book option, you'll see a message saying the flight charges have gone up by 200%. The ticket they initially showed for 350 Dirhams will then be 1100 Dirhams. Big Time Cheats

Id give this company negative stars if I could. I booked a round trip ticket with Fly Far. They emailed me a schedule change but didnt mention anything about my flights on the return journey not working. I didnt find that out until my return journey home when I attempted to check in. Because I booked through them, the airline refused to assist me and told me that Fly Far would have to fix the problem. Fly Far refused to help and blamed the airline for making a schedule change. They said that they tried to contact me before the flight to make alternative arrangements but I have no record of any missed calls or voicemails from them nor did I ever receive an email asking me to contact them. Because of their refusal to take any ownership of the flights that they booked for me, I ended up stranded in San Francisco and out-of-pocket over $900 to buy a completely new one-way ticket at the last minute in order to get home. Worst customer service ever! Use this company at your own risk!

This company basically sell you a ticket with no flight and will not provide you assistance when you need.
They will just tell you the Airline has control over the ticket and that they cannot help you, sorry. The airline will be saying talk to the travel agent.
You will end up sleeping in the airport if you cannot afford hotel. They will not provide you any formol help.
I will not recommend this company if you have a better option.
They dont deserve a single start.
Good luck

Tottaly avoid them!
February 20, 2018

What a terrible customer service! We ended up not using our ticket to USA (it was waaaay cheaper to buy a new ticket from other website than to pay this guys fees and difference in rates for a new airfare) so FlyFar.Ca cancelled our flight by themselves! Including ticket back home. Doesn't matter that we have paid for the round trip tickets and were going to use a ticket to fly from USA. They told us if you didn't use one ticket to usa, the other ticket got cancelled too, automatically! The refund. There is no refund. They should issue a credit for the future purchase (no thank you!) but if I wouldn't mention it they wouldn't say anything. Plus they need time to investigate the issue before they will be able to issue a credit! What a joke! Plus their employees I talked to speak with very strong accent, it's very hard to understand their English, especially if English is not your first language. Dealing with their customer reps is not an easy deal for me, I had to re-ask several time what they said - the accent was that strong. Terrible terrible experience!

Do not use them! I've never had any issues with any website so far but FlyFar was a NIGHTMARE. I booked with them I got an email confirmation with e ticket and then they sent me another email saying my first name was too long. I've replied to them asking them to change to only my first first name (I have 3 on my passport) I got an email back saying to call them. I then called them they said they've made the change it's all sorted. Then 2 day before Christmas I've at the airport waiting in the line to drop off my luggage and the guy said "you don't have a booking, there is no booking under your name". I called Flyfar and they said they cancelled my booking because of the name being too long! How come? They previously told me on the phone that it was all sorted and they TOOK MY MONEY! So how can they tell me it's been cancelled. BIG NIGHTMARE! After 2 hours on the phone they booked me on a flight but I had to spend 20 hours in Shanghai. I couldn't get my tax back because I had to run to the plane before the door closed so I've lost $500 dollars and they are only compensating me for $150 dollars for accommodation in Shanghai. WHAT A JOKE! NEver use them, WORST EVER!

Booked my ticket and got a confirmation email without airline confirmation#. So I contacted them the next day, and was told my ticket is cancelled. I should've not believe that they could offered a better price in the first place. They used lower price to trick you to book with them, and turns out not able to book the ticket. What a waste of time, BAD company. IF YOU CAN'T OFFER THE LOWER PRICE, DON'T PUT IT OUT.!
