We sent 19 boxes via Fed Ex Express from Maldives to Bali. On receiving our boxes that were held for 3 mths, many sentimental and valuable items had been stolen and many others maliciously destroyed. Much we had to throw away. We were then told to pay an extra $2000 to have our boxes released (storage fees) despite no reason to hold them. After a formal complaint was lodged 5 weeks ago, they have simply dismissed it. There is obviously a racket going on and blatant extortion. Disgraceful.
I own and run a business and receive trucks and packages all day every day with no issues, except Fed Ex. They are the exception. Many times I receive bills that are supposed to be billed to the shipper, but they they bill me, the receiver. That takes forever, threatening bills and letters from them, this is going to collections etc etc. Even though the shipper notifies them of their ( FED EX'S) error and asks them to please bill them they don't do it. This time they tried to deliver to our business at 5:30 PM our business hours are clearly marked on our building, web site and our answering machine as Monday - Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. They are billing me for a re-delivery charge of $ 166.00 dollars even though they came after we were closed. I tied my very best to reason with the many people I was sent to time after time, put on hold for hours, to work this out, but they were firm, the were here at 5:30 and we were not here? And now I have to pay. Is it me or is this not reasonable on their part? Thank You. Guy Matteson at TRAILERS LLC.
I typically would have provided a 5 star for FedEx but as of the last months, possibly 6 months, service has been horrible. The delivery from today is a prime example. It was delivered on the side of the road 1 mile from my house. In addition, it is pouring down rain and the order is dogfood. The last order was an electronic and is was delivered about 1/2 mile from the house in inclement weather. It would appear that the driver is afraid of melting from getting wet or something. Absolutely horrible service by the latest driver they put in charge of my route. Do better! Tried attaching the picture sent by FedEx but it won't allow it to attach...proof that they don't want their own evidence used against them. Amazing.
Like the title says, FedEx has lost or delayed 100% of my packages since. Whether it be personal packages or packages for work/business. All of the above. If I can I will forever avoid FedEx and use any other service available.
My package says delivered and the delivery person even took a photo of the delivery. But the photo is just a blurry pic with no package in it or even anything that looks like/ signifies its my apartment (see attachment). So they either lost or stole it. Address is confirmed correct. I called them and FedEX is refusing to help even though they are the ones who lost/stole it and telling me i can only call the shipper. When i asked to speak with a higher up they put me on a 20 minute hold and then hung up. Unreliable. Cruel. Unprofessional. Unaccountable. A terrible company that does not care if you receive your package.
I shipped a letter (FedEx Pak) standard overnight on 12/22 to myself at another location and was charged $47.55 - for delivery the next day. I did not receive it (totally panicked!) until 12/29/22. When I called to challenge the charge, I LITERALLY was told by Diane, our account representative, that they could not guarantee it or credit us the charge and that "every other carrier has the same problem." When I said, "But I didn't use every other carrier, I used FedEx," she again reiterated the same thing. I swear I will NEVER EVER use FedEx again.
I sent presents for my parents and one month is gone and they still haven't received anything. The parcel is still at the border, they call EVERY DAY and they are continuously subject to taunting with every possible excuse on why the package is still there, or being told to call again after 7pm but the office closes at 6.30pm! I have never had these problems with other couriers. You are a joke, your customer service is a joke, you are going bust very soon and you deserve it.
If I had a choice I will NEVER allow fedex to deal with any of my packages. They customer service reps are extremely rude. I was told by a customer service rep that no u don't need to speak to a supervisor about me, she laughed on the phone with someone and hung up on me. FedEx needs to be put out of business. I called back and I was told right now a customers complaint isn't priority.
I ordered a package from Build-A-Bear Workshop and it got DELIVERED TO THE WRONG ADDRESS. Instead of leaving me the Build-A-Bear package, they left me a package for BWEAR Sportswear. I never had anything from BWEAR! Upon looking at the tracking info it was delivered to someone else's house and not mine. Package delivered was to someone's house down the road from us with a completely different first and last name. Called FedEx up asking if they knew what was going on. The lady I spoke to was ABSOLUTELY NO HELP. She kept saying "Just buy it again". Asked her if she knew where the package was. She said it was somewhere in my town. That's helpful, considering SAID WEBSITE SAYS THE SAME THING. After a while, we delivered the wrong package to the persons address and found out they actually ended up having MY PACKAGE! We explained to him that the packages got mixed up, traded packages and I have the package in hand now, but boy was this ridiculous. I'm pretty sure they didn't read the address and just the name of the company(BWEAR, BABW). That's stupid if they did that. In the future FedEx, look at the address it's supposed to be going to, not the name of the company.
I often get packages from FedEx, 90% of the time they are either stolen, HEAVILY damaged, or I get incorrect tracking information from the site. Though I may mention that I have never called FedEx in terms of getting information which could lead to why I get incorrect information when tracking on the website. I ordered something and when I was informed that it was delivered, it said it was right infront of my door. I checked all around my house, asked the neighbors, and looked in hidden places, it was not there. I called them many times about my package and they did absolutely nothing about it. This had happened twice. Other packages I have received from FedEx had major dents, packages were already opened, products were open also, etc. This is why I wish it was possible to choose what carrier we receive from, FedEx should do something about their workers because it is tiring to receive so many damaged packages.
I was sent a £700 handmade guitar from South Africa to be delivered, according to FedEx, on Friday 23rd December. I was kept up-to-date and was notified that it had reached their Leyland depot. On the day before delivery, 22nd Dec, I was emailed to say the delivery was to be delayed to the 28th December. Which was fair enough.
However at the end of the 23rd of December, the original delivery date, I was emailed to say it had been delivered here at my address at 3.00pm. This is totally untrue. We work from home and were here the whole time.
I tried to double-check what had happened by contacting their support to be told that the driver had "tried" to deliver it but couldn't, (why?), and it was now in Leyland. Even though when you enter their tracking number it says it has been "delivered'.
So now, no £700 guitar and no sense whatsoever from FedEx as to where it is. I wouldn't trust them to deliver anything.
FedEx Customer Service number is a nightmare. You go round and round with the recording and there is no way to get to a live person. My package has been sitting in the same facility for a week but the system refuses to get me to a live person, it simply states "that is the most current information we have". Also my sister lives there and there have been FedEx trucks out everyday so the weather is NOT an issue. Certainly not getting my business any longer #FedEx #FedExisAWFUL.
If you are using Fed Ex delivery for any package do not select 2-day or overnight shipping. The representative just told me that Fed Ex doesn't guarantee delivery in that time frame and they don't refund money. I asked that not right because if that the case people should only select regular ground shipping. I order something for Christmas and select 2-day shipping and the item two days after Christmas. I paid an extra $26.00, but now they don't refund for a service that they advertise. A least UPS and USPS will give a refund if the shipping wasn't honored. Be aware.
We used fedex for intenational shipping. Used plastic "expensive" box to assure safe arrival od goods. That plastic box arrived destroyed... so be aware, fedex treats your goods like $#*! and without any regards to the goods inside. BEWARE.
These cowards get paid just to mess up deliveries and then hide behind the phone to make sure you can't get hold of them and tell them about their pathetic selves their reviews on other websites are just as worse as on here. I would be totally embarrassed if I had any kind affiliation with FedEx.keep up the good work and keep getting these wonderful reviews.thats right instead of being ashamed and try to change things your getting worse and worse by the minute
I called to get my package delivered another day. The customer service person assured me that my package would be delivered on the day I chose. The package was delivered on the day I was out of town! I called to complain about this the customer service person was rude and very unconcerned! I asked to speak t a manager. I was on hold so long I finally hung up!@ I'm so disappointed! I hope no one takes my package!
I had an order that was supposed to be three days ago. It snowed and yes it's cold but I am 73 years old and have been outside in it and driving in it. Fed ex will use any excuse not to get your package there in time! Will.use.alternate method next time! Boo fedex
I have been waiting for 2 days for a package to be delivered. 2 days PAST the promised delivery date. They can't give me any information on where my package is or when it might be delivered. This is not the first time. Businesses beware, I will no longer conduct business with companies who use Fed Ex for shipping.
I went with Fedex because it was cheaper than UPS. Lesson learned. Fedex tends to get the package close to where it suppose to be then drops the ball and loses the package. It's been stuck an hour away from its destination for over five business days. Really? You can't get a package to it's owner that's less than an hour away. Good Grief. All the economist are predicting Fedex will go out of business in 2023...I hope it does. Oh, and good luck getting their "so called insurance" because they never pay it out.

Answer: They would leave note that they would attempt to "redeliver", even if you were home when they claim they allegedly attempted the first time and they did not even knock so you can come out to receive your package. In my case, they said they will attempt to redeliver yesterday. Guess what? They did not and i receive an email saying i will have to pick it up from whatever branch. I told them that if i had to come out to go somewhere to get my package, I would've just gone directly to the shipper and the shipper would'nt have had to pay fedex for sucky no service.
