I frequent a few sites that only use fedex for rushed shipping. I have paid 20+ dollars multiple times for a next or two day delivery. Every time, every time, my package gets delayed and arrives past the free option I should have taken. I am starting to think that fedex only has one delivery service that they use for every option they offer.
I would advise against using fedex if you want anything quick, or on time even. UPS, USPS, DHL, Bestbuys personal delivery service, and amazon delivery are all better options.
I used Fedex services 11 July 2023, because I bought 2 Roof Boxxer helmets from the Dutch online marketplace chromeburner.com and they delivered my package to my country, Indonesia.
I am very disappointed with Fedex for being able to release my package despite my strong suspicions without proper export documents.
22 July 2023, I realized this after researching the package I received and it turned out that there were no documents: COMMERCIAL INVOICE, PACKING LIST & CERTIFICATE of ORIGIN. Even though these 3 documents can be requested directly from the seller/exporter when they pick up my package at their warehouse. These three documents are the forerunner to the issuance of Airway Bill (AWB#*******234) by Fedex.
In the end, because of this messy document, I, as a purchaser, was charged by customs in my country 220% -235% more than what I should have paid, without me being able to do anything about it.

In the last few weeks I have received two packages from Fed Ex. Each time they neglected to knock on the door, to send me a text, or to give me a call or even an email to say they had just dropped off the package at my door, taken a pic of it, and left - leaving the package sitting out in the wide open and easily ripped off. Both companies that sent the packages - Hewlett-Packard and Balance of Nature - told me they were going to lodge a complaint for me and that this happens all the time and they are getting ready to switch carriers. FED EX: IF YOU ARE GOING TO STAY IN THE DELIVERY BUSINESS THEN YOU HAVE TO LET PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT THE DELIVERY DUH DUH DUUUUUUUUUH! You are the worst delivery company on the planet and I hope you go bankrupt soon and put me out of my misery...
I had a delivery scheduled for delivery on Friday July 21,2023 before 5 pm in Kelowna and because I wanted to pick it up it sat in Richmond. I have 35 years experience in delivering freight and have never heard such a stupid excuse in my entire life. That issue could have been dealt with when it arrived in Kelowna but I guess when you are a multi billion dollar company with state of the art technology you have the right to screw people around.
FedEx is constantly losing my stuff they deliver it to the wrong place in an apartment complex because they can't read the numbers on the buildings and the doors before they dump something off somewhere. You would think a company that has been in business as long as FedEx has would have their logistics in order. My package arrived in Orlando at 6:00 this morning and I live in Orlando. The package was going to my house in Orlando. Well when it got to Orlando, It was then shipped to Davenport Florida which is an hour and 45 minutes from Orlando. They were still saying it would be delivered today by the end of the business day. Well no package. No update to when I will receive my package. And I'm sitting here wondering why the hell my package went to Davenport in the first place. Why would you send a package to Davenport after it came to Orlando which was the city it was being delivered to? I don't understand who runs logistics at FedEx but obviously they aren't up to the job. Great job with your logistics FedEx said no one ever. I can't believe how many one star reviews a company of this size has. Now it has another one.

For a week, tracking said arriving early. When it arrived in my city it sat at their facility for 72 hours. Effectively destroying three days of my plans.
Their website is broken, so many links do nothing. Lead to bad gateways and non responsive pages. Thats a 1 star service for you.
You have to wrestle with a broken automated VI over the phone to get a hold of an agent to actually find out what's going on with the package.
Their tracking system is broken and has never in my dozens of delivered packaged been accurate, its so funny look at my example above. It's funny in an EMBARASSING way that this company even exists.
Fedex you making online shops look bad when they spend hard work to package an item beautifully, spend money to get tracking info only for you guys to make receiving the package a f-ing headache every single time.
They will dump the document at your door without calling you instead of putting it in the mail box.
That is how my document (sensitive) got missing (only God knows who picked it up) and they kept turning me around and around. Up to now, I have not recovered the document.
If you think of sending a sensitive document with FedEx, think again because it can easily get missing and do not expect any reasonable action from them
Never deliver on time. Even when items are on truck for delivery. Use UPS. I was relying on a very important delivery following heart surgery and again FedEx didn't come through. Shameful considering what they charge for supposed on time delivery.
I would like to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the consistent failure of FedEx to deliver packages directly to the front door of my home.
Over the past few months, I have encountered several instances in which the delivery driver opted to leave packages at an inconvenient and unauthorized location. Despite having a clear and accessible front porch, FedEx personnel have repeatedly left my packages on the sidewalk, the side of the house, in front of my garage door, waiting for me to drive over my package. For some reason, they refuse to deliver the package to the front door. I do not have this problem with UPS, Amazon, or the Postal Service.
The other night a package was delivered when I came home from work thr next morning they put the package at the end of my driveway I could not pull into my driveway I am disabled don't they deliver it to your door step any more? They've lost my packages, delivered them to the wrong address, or when my packages actually make it to my house, they're put in the wrong place. I've contacted Fed Ex by phone at least 3 times, telling them that I want my packages delivered to my front door, & there's supposedly a note on my account telling drivers where to put the package, so I don't understand what is so hard about 1) reading the address on my package, and 2) reading the specific instructions where to deliver it. I wish companies would stop using Fed Ex as their delivery service.
The fedex driver signed on my behalf and threw the parcel back of the gate which im not happy about. There was a phone inside that cost me 1000 pounds. It said on the tracking that it was handed over to the resident which it wasnt i was going crazy to find the package i asked the neighbours msged amazon and i couldnt find the package until my mum found it this morning behind the gate. If the package is thrown behind the gate why wasnt this written in the description. The driver said he handed it over to me he didnt he even signed on my behalf thats illegal. I even was complaining to amazon they kept saying u have received it but in did not no it was behind the gate until this morning. Im heavily pregnant and i had to go through all this stress finding the parcel. This driver is wrong and dangerous to do this signing and lying about the parcel was given to me when i wasnt even at home. I even told the manager and she wasnt helpful either im not happy with the outcome. This driver should be sacked

Worst service ever I've moved to my apartment and I've been here for one month now my packages my furniture that has came through FedEx has become missing, opened and lost in transit. Now I'm trying to return my furniture back to the seller since I now have an incomplete set since FedEx lost parts of my furniture, the driver comes to pick up the package but because FedEx messed up and did not give him all the details. The driver then leaves without saying anything did not take any of the package that was scheduled to be picked up. He says he will call manager and be right back in a second and then runs off as I close my door to wait for him to come back. This was at 1:42pm driver never came back and I contact FedEx customer service line since it was 2:30pm and driver has not come back and they basically did nothing. They did not apologize for the inconvenience. They're telling me that I just have to sit here and wait until the end of the day to see if the driver comes back and basically said forget me, and it is what it is because the driver is still within the estimated pick up window time even though the driver already came here did not pick up the scheduled items that should've been picked up and just left without saying anything.
If it were possible, I would put zero! They sent me a package on July 3rd. Today is July 14, there is no parcel. Yesterday, the status was that estimate delivery till the end of day July 13, today this status was removed, there is no date for the receipt of the parcel. Terrible! Usually I receive pastels from Europe in one week or one and a half, but here, within the same country, it's the third week and it's not clear when it will come.
Never had a problem until now. FIRE your lazy $#*! drivers that wont come to the door for things that require a signature and then say noone was home. There is always people in my house and plenty of dogs that will go off when someone knocks. Nobody knocked on my door 2 days in a row and I was right next to my door one of those days when at the time they claimed to have knocked. My sons seizure medication from the hospital is in that package and they are treating like it's not important. Received a message twice it was on the way. Right after the second message saying it was on the way I got a msg saying it was delayed for operational issues. Get it together fedex your going to eventually kill someone who cant afford to go buy more medicine or notify them to late when all the pharmacies are closed and they are out of medicine bc you are 3 days late on your promise

I had a package delivered, when I wasn't home. I called FedEd to make arrangements to bring the package back out tomorrow. They said I have to click it up myself. Normally, I wouldn't have a problem with that but I don't have any transportation, I have health issues & will have a problem lifting the box; also I'm a senior citizen. I never did like FedEx when I was younger because of their messed up policies & now they even give me more reasons not to like them. I asked the customer service representative to send it back to the company since I don't have any way to get the package. She told me I have to call the company for them to send it back. I don't know how they stayed in business after all these years. But they're are a poor excuse for a delivery company.

Answer: They would leave note that they would attempt to "redeliver", even if you were home when they claim they allegedly attempted the first time and they did not even knock so you can come out to receive your package. In my case, they said they will attempt to redeliver yesterday. Guess what? They did not and i receive an email saying i will have to pick it up from whatever branch. I told them that if i had to come out to go somewhere to get my package, I would've just gone directly to the shipper and the shipper would'nt have had to pay fedex for sucky no service.
