I usually go to Costco for my prescription eye glasses, but I heard about eyeconic and thought, I would give it a try. On the first try my glasses came with NO issues, where I have had issues with Costco before. The online user scenario for eyeconic is great and I ordered my glasses and now I await!
Fairly easy process, would be good to know ahead of time which sunglasses style would work with my prescription.
I was able to choose a set of glasses for my kid from the website. It took my insurance in to account and showed exactly what our costs would be. All simplified and easy.
Slowest turn around time I've experieced. I would not recommend eyeconic to anyone because of the horrid customer experience. First of all I sent in a very clear photo, they denied that, then there was an issue of needed a PDF instead of a photo. I called the eye doctor and asked them to email me my prescription. You shouldn't be inconveniencing me to call the eye doctor when you are already contacting them. So, originally I order the express shipping, I pay extra for that. They reached out to me TODAY to tell me that they are experiencing issues, the day I expected my contacts. All in all there were about 2 delays in my order and I am going to receive them later than expected.
My first pair of glasses. Easy shopping experience. Price was definitely cheaper than what I had seen at the stores I visited.
I tried to use my HSA card like before but it didn't go through after trying several times. No instruction or explanation on why and only said it was due to server issue and please try again later. Finally after I switched to a different credit card, transaction went through so apparently card was the reason. The site should tell the user what went wrong (and why) with payment process to avoid wasting of time. I tried this over 3 days!

The website is very easy to navigate, especially if you've tried on glasses in person and know what styles you're looking for. The virtual try-on option is a nice backup in case you want to check, and the measuring instructions are easy to follow. Insurance usually covers most of the cost for me and the customer service team was very communicative last time I got a pair! After frustrating experiences with other providers in the past, this is now my second time ordering prescription glasses from Eyeconic and I appreciate how easy they make the experience.

The experience with the website and choice of eyeglasses was nice. The adjusting the frames at a local provider was a little more difficult; however, it is nice and time saving to have the glasses ordered and delivered in my own timeframe.

Went to eye doctor and paid more than I should have for glasses for my daughters. The in-person offices may be VSP recommended, but they do not have a good selection of VSP glasses. Most don't even carry sports glasses which my kids also need; softball players who are near sighed. Not to member with Eyeconic, you get to do the virtual try. Big factor my girls. It's important to me that they feel confident in their glasses and themselves. Eyeconic is truly ICONIC. Only choice from here on out.
I've gotten several pairs of glasses from Eyeconic, and the service has always been great! I can quickly filter for my preferred style, apply insurance benefit and use HSA. So quick and easy.
This website was $80 cheaper than what my eye doctor offered me. Will continue to use it!
