They tell you that your copay is going to be $10 when you sign up for the insurance but if you're over 18 years old they always charge you over $30 for the copay. Same glasses on this site are half price or less elsewhere. But they do make it relatively easy to apply your insurance benefit. Was not impressed by quality of my daughter's glasses which fell apart within months of light use. Return and exchange policy is not realistic or consumer friendly for a mail order glasses company. 3 years of using this site and I'm finally understanding how the whole thing works. They prey on people and rely on them being confused. Ick.
The Eyeconic website is very easy to navigate and choose the glasses that work best for me.

I felt more comfortable shopping online when I was able to return the product when it didn't fit me well.
When I placed an order, I had to reach out to see what was happening since things didn't seem to be progressing. I thought things were good after that but after a few more days I just received an email that my order was canceled. I imagine it took to long to process and then the frames were no longer available. I just placed another order and am hoping things go more smoothly this time.
Virtual try on was good and process was easy
I changed my insurance last and the bill went up so I didnt use it. Almost a yr later. After deleting and re-entering insurance link, now it bills correctly.

None of the prices shown are even remotely close to the final number when I check out. Even when buying the additional pair, for some reason despite the same exact coverage and same price after insurance, the tax obligation was cheaper. That makes no sense. Additionally, I have to check out each pair separately so it recognizes the insurance benefits, otherwise it tries to charge me full price for the second pair. I wish my insurance benefits were integrated throughout the process so I can make an informed decision and have a more seamless process.
However, mine and my husband's prescription are pretty high so having the high index lenses at no additional out of pocket costs is a huge benefit over buying in store.

The pricing for an online store is way way higher. I would not buy anything from eye conic with such low inventory going forward and very limited options to buy using insurance.
It is extremely complicated to figure out what insurance benefits I have and how to use them through the eyeconic website. The website logs out all the time and gets confused and switched to my partners benefits without warning. I have two separate VSP plans for two people, but there is no way to combine the benefits into one account, instead I need to keep track of four accounts!
