I wanted to return the last pair i bought as they were too big and i was not a fan of material. I sent an email to the support email on 2/18.

I have experienced issues with clarity and vision and fit of glasses. They customer service was not very good at answering questions they jusy just placed an order with out my approval or answering my questions. I tried to call about the issue but couldn't get anyone to answer my call. Just kept sending my to an automated system and it eventually hung up on me.
I was able to place Peres fine on the website. However when I was notified of delivery at my mailbox the item was no where to be found.

When I received my glasses in the mail and put them on, there was an "immediate fit." What I mean is yes, the glasses fit VERY well, but also I had a visceral, positive reaction to my new glasses. I was very pleased with the way the frames looked on my face.

I've used Eyebuydirect for glasses over the years happily. Now, I was unable to get my normal bifocals with lenses darkening in sunlight. This has been available in the past, but now ONLY with progressive lenses. I gave that a try, but my eyes found the progressive lenses made me dizzy so I returned them and went with someone else.
Always a fun experience, but insurance wasn't picked up properly - kept denying it which was annoying and it occurred with this most recent purchase too. Not sure what is up with AETNA.

I've tried other competitors in the past, but they do not compare to Eyebuy. They have a great selection of frames, all the specifications I look for and great customer service. Ive been ordering from EyebuyDirect for many years now. I love all my many pairs of colorful glasses.
But i have a problem with their new AI try on capabilities. Think about it for a minute, I'm buying glasses because I can not see anything unless I'm wearing a pair. So in order to see my AI virtual self/face in the new frames etc… i must keep my eyeglasses on. So now my virtual self is wearing glasses already and its trying to place the new frames over the frames i've already got on! Which looks pretty silly. I just don't think much thought went into it. Or the program has been pushed through by someone who obviously doesn't have to wear glasses! I liked the older way of downloading a photo of myself to see what their frames look like on me.
I liked the older way of uploading a photo of myself and seeing the eyeglasses on my face picture. The AI version is "live" therefore i must leave on my own eyeglasses in order to see the various eyeglasses so now I'm wearing two pair of glasses visible on my face! Its silly!
The best pair I own. I have the clearest vision with these. I couldn't believe I could buy prescription eyeglasses at such a discount. And the quality is great. I won't overpay any longer.
The frames are not excellent quality, but I did choose the cheapest. Framed are cheap, but also what I paid for. Was disappointed w their coupon tho, could not find disclaimer on what frames discount would apply to. In fact, coupon claimed "30% off EVERYTHING". Not true, not everything. There was a minimum cost the frames needed to be for the discount to apply, but no asterisk or anything leading me to any info on that minimum price. Glasses took a little longer to arrive than I expected. But the rx is fine, would order from them again when needed.
Easy BUT... I got an email as a new customer for "30% Off Everything"... but it did NOT CALCULATE THE 30% CORRECTLY! I had to settle for a lesser discount.
I love the selection of lenses, and it's always easy to update my prescription every year. I also provide the invoice to my insurance, and they take care of it, which is a huge help! I look forward to buying new glasses every year.
Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
