I am so happy I found eyebuydirect! I can actually afford to have good-quality glasses with progressive lenses that don't cost a fortune. I am now on my eighth pair because I can afford to have many different ones to match my mood and clothing. The frames can be slightly flimsier than the $1000+ designer brands, but the lenses seem to be of exceptional quality all around. Customer service is top-notch. Shipping is fast. I will not shop elsewhere after I found eyebuydirect and have told several friends and family members to shop heres.

I've never been one who needed glasses until about two years ago while I was still in high school. I didn't know how to go about it. And the worst part is that all the glasses I tried made me feel ugly. I was trading my sight for the privilege of looking good. It took me to finding this site to find affordable glasses that only look good and feel good.But last for long time.
They don't want any measurements for the distance between your pupils. I wasted $200 on a pair of prescription sunglasses that are way too wide for me.

I cannot add needed tint when using my medical coverage not sure why some issue but here I always get exactly the script I need with the tint I want for half the cost.

So many emails for just buying a $30 pair of glasses. The glasses weren't great, but I didn't expect much at that price point. What caught me by surprise was the amount of marketing/survey/follow-up emails I'm getting now for my one purchase
I was having issues with my glasses that I had got with my insurance plan. Different stupid issues enough to aggravate me and make me look elsewhere for new glasses. Just to get an additional pair of glasses well in this case i bought 2 pairs and this time with the blue light recommended since i am in from of computer screens for work and phone screens at other times. Plus i was having headaches and couldnt figure out what was causing them... so i tried the blue light recommended well i am so glad i did because the new lighting at both my work places was the problem and having these new glasses has changed that no more headaches from the lighting, etc for me! Past experiences i have received nothing but compliments on any frames i have ever chosen and i love that since i wear them mostly daily when im not in contacts.
I use Eyebuydirect when I need a quick fix and want to skip a visit to the Doctor's Office. I get to skip the waiting and hassle of buying new glasses. They make the process effortless and quick.
Issue #1- I called and was told that the only way to communicate with the insurance department was via email. I needed to return glasses that I had purchased that were made wrong. After emailing, it took 6 days and 7 emails to get a response. I just wanted the glasses remade/adjusted and advised I would return the original ones I purchased. I was told because I used insurance that this was not possible. So I had to return the original for a refund and reimbursement to the insurance and place a separate order for new glasses.
Issue #2- When ordering the new glasses I needed an adjustment to the transition line so that I didn't run into the same problem as the first pair. Even though I did not use my insurance the 2nd time I was told because I had previously used insurance on an order I was no longer allowed to speak to the regular customer service office and would only be allowed to communicate with the insurance department which again was email only and 6-7 days backlogged. When I tried to explain that I didn't use insurance this time I was told there was no way around this and if I didn't want to wait and deal with insurance to create a new account with a different email.
The customer service is HORRIBLE!
There is no one answering the phone (insurance department) and are NOT responding to emails. Been a week and still waiting. This is crazy.
I've bought several pairs of glasses from EyebuyDirect and haven't had any issues till now. I bought of pair of sunglasses using insurance and immediately after purchasing my order was put on hold until I sent them a copy of my prescription which I sent over immediately because that happens every time I've bought glasses from this site.Usually when I send over my prescription I'll get an email confirming that they've received it, but after not hearing back for a few days I tried to reach out to customer service, but since I used insurance to purchase you have to call a specific number or email during 9-5 hours. I work overnight so it's hard for me to call during the day so I emailed multiple times and received no response until 10 days after purchasing. I purchased my glasses February 3,2026 and as of today February 24,2026 my glasses have still not shipped.

The checkout process is bit…clumsy. If you buy through Apple Pay or PayPal, it sometimes has to resend the order, doesn't go through the first time. Minor annoyance given the savings.
Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
